Had the experience of staying in many serviced apartments in life so far and I’m left to wonder how the Connaught defines ‘serviced’. Other than removing the bins and swapping towels, I can’t thinking of much else they offer. Saw a cockroach come running across our kitchen/lounge tonight and called the front desk for help with cleaning or bug spray. Not only did the staff not provide cleaning or spray, we had to call them just to get a response. Understand the team might be understaffed later in the evening but wouldn’t expect cockroaches in serviced apartments and certainly wouldn’t expect such a lack of diligence in the staff responding to this.
This is a very small hotel in terms of its footprint, so although it has over 20 floors, there are only two rooms per floor. This is not unusual in HK, where space is at such a premium. But the hotel is great value for its excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the heart of HK's Central district, and with subway stations within a 5-minute walk. The rooms were surprisingly not as small as I had expected, and I had a suite with a separate living room. The bathroom is spacious, with a full bathtub and shower area behind glass doors. The room also had a kitchenette with microwave, mid-sized fridge, kitchen sink, Nespresso machine, tea bags, kettle, plates, etc. The hotel also has a gym, but no restaurant. But dozens of restaurants are on that same block, so it's not an issue. One caveat: The lobby is reached only by a short flight of stairs, so be ready to carry your luggage up. They have a small hydraulic elevator but that is only for wheelchairs.

i have stayed in Hong Kong since 2018 and most of time i stayed in Hotel or Serviced Apartment. it was my first time staying in the Mercury Hotel and i only planned to stay few days and look for other places to stay. However, i dont think I can find anything better then this place in terms of size, price, cleaness, comforts and privacy. you will be amazed by the size of the room and how well they are maintained.
Staffs are overall very friendly and they are 24 hours available. Especially there is one memeber of management staff name Alan and he handles all the matter with a good attitude and always willing to help.
there are washing and dryers and you can use them 24/7
Internet : Very fasst.
all the rooms have 2 tvs.
i confidently recommand the Mercury

Sohotel has in its location its major and probably only strong point. The hotel is located at a walking distance of all major locations around Central HK and that was the only reason that took me to choose it.
The staff is nice but the hotel is really small and with very short amenities.
If it was a hotel in the range of 700-800hkd it would be acceptable but prices charged are more than double of this so, I can say that although the choice was a conscientious one it feels like we are being deceived.
Additionally I was unlucky to have fell in a room where was not possible to rest all night as next door was occupied by what seemed like a porn live streamer that spent all night moaning and screaming but that’s just unlucky not a hotel problem.
Bed is comfortable.

Location is perfect. However, the room size and the space in corridor are just so so. Bed is big but the toilet area is just too small and water split everywhere after washing faces or brushing teeth. Also the room size is very small n difficult to open a 28 inch luggage properly. In addition, the hygiene standard is also so so, I found stains on the towels n bedsheets

Hotel Review: Casa Hotel, Hong Kong
I recently stayed at Casa Hotel in Hong Kong and had a pleasant experience. The location in Yau Ma Tei is fantastic, close to public transportation and local attractions. The rooms are compact but well-maintained, offering all the necessary amenities.
The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Although the breakfast options were limited, the convenience of nearby eateries made up for it. Overall, Casa Hotel provides good value for money for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

This hotel has been in my pocket list for quite sometime now, finally got the chance to stay, it turned out better than I expected. The room has been kept very nice and clean, staff are very friendly and the location is very convenient. Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

We had a group of six and did multiple bookings to get rooms with two beds and some with one bed. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The rooms are clean, a great size for 2 people and the ac worked well, the staff were very kind and a little perk was that the mini fridges in each room worked remarkably well. The beds are firm which some of us loved. The location was perfect for us! Close to markets, shopping and transit. We checked off everything we wanted to do (dim sum, star ferry, day/night markets) with ease because of the great location. Would be happy to book a stay here again!

The room is dated and lacks basic hotel necessities.
Not well kept, cockroaches, no heating, centralized cold temperature in all rooms and hallways, and the pillows are stiff to my liking - I didn't get a good sleep here.
Location is the only thing going for this hotel unfortunately.

Outstanding
KKaz T.Great location, the hotel is connected to Mongkok MTR station and shopping mall. The day we checked in was peak travelling season during Christmas and we loved the self check in arrangement you can complete via email prior to arrival which has made checking in so much easier.
The only downside was our room being allocated to the 19th floor and the lift can only get to the 18th floor. With 6 luggages we did have to do some lifting up the stairs but overall we enjoyed our stay at the Royal Plaza.

GGuest UserGreat hotel with spacious rooms that are equipped with a kitchenette. Good quality toiletry products too. Staff are efficient and mostly friendly and the gym has most of the basic equipment you would expect from a hotel / serviced apartment. A few recommendations would be to improve the variety and quality of the breakfast, and to have more frequent shuttle services to cover the weekends as well. Prices are reasonable considering the location - which is not in the heart of Central but close enough that is within walking distance (though it is mostly on a slope). It is also close to a few attractions such as The Peak (the tram station is just 8 mins walk downhill from the hotel, or you can hike to the Peak in about 45 minutes from the hotel), the Botanical Garden (a stone's throw away), and all the bars and and restaurants in the SOHO / LKF / Midlevels areas.

Excellent
MmiSs JMMy daughter and I had 10 hours layover in HK and decided to book a hotel near the airport. This hotel is perfect for its location, less than 10 mins away by taxi and offers FREE airport pick up/drop off service.
The room is relatively small but cosy and clean. The only thing I did not like is that they do not provide bottle of water in the room, however they provide an empty bottle that you can refill outside the room (which I couldn’t figure out where, since the hotel is big so I just ended up heating tap water using the kettle 😅)
Nevertheless, I liked that this hotel is accessible and near, less hassle if you have a super early flight the next day. 100% recommended! 😉

AAnonymous UserGood condition and services
Very clean and comfortable and high efficient for special orders
Easy transportation for MTR, tunnel bus,
So many Shopping centres and food centers
All things are supplied in the room so enough.
But there have only two clothes hangers are not enough for winter use, or hanging clothes after washing clothes.
Times up must be left and locked the door is not a goid service.
Long queue for check in. One receptionist is not enough, and low efficiency.
Check in time have no earlier, and late 15 minutes too. But check out time do not allow more time to leave.
Conclusion, check in and out time is not good service.

KKiyoneThe room is superb, with big area suitable for family. Clean and great seaview, big swimming pool. There is bus stop just outside the hotel with bus at affordable price to travel to and fro airport. Also free shuttle bus provided by hotel to MTR stations. Toothbrush and toothpaste need to purchase from counter, no mini mart nearby, only vending machine beside hotel lift at lobby selling snacks and drinks at high price. The coordinator at lobby is a friendly Malaysian aunty, very helpful and can communicate easily, but customer service at counter not so friendly.

MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel.
The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated. My view was gross, so I kept the shade down.
When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel!
Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing).
What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
WWongJenniferWe came back to stayed after 5 days in Taiwan. We got back at midnight. The room they gave me next to the lift,it was so noisy in the morning. Moreover no chair and table. What we got is this horrible looking coffee table, I think.
The average price for hotels in Hong Kong is AED 529 on weekdays, and AED 598 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
