The room was very uncomfortable and overdimensional, which missed any feeling of well-being. The lighting was just a disaster and did not help create a pleasant atmosphere. The establishment worked cheap and did not meet the modern standards you might expect. The restaurant, once a highlight, has clearly lost its glance. Guests should make sure to spend a lot of time, because whoever hopes for a fast food is definitely missing in place here. Unfortunately, the food offered was everything but tasty. The salad buffet was particularly disappointing, which was found empty. It took half an hour and two friendly queries until it was finally filled. The noisy conversations of the staff at the buffet also appeared unsuitable and disrupted the fragile environment. In general, it is noted that both the rooms and the service need to be substantially improved to meet the guests' demands.

This attractive hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from the old town. Our room (106) is rather small, but clean, tidy and comfortable. Everything you need is there, including sparkling and still mineral water. The bathroom is also small but clean. The shower is in the bathtub with a shower curtain. The make-up mirror and the normal mirror are at an optimal height, so that both are also suitable for smaller people (approx. 158cm). An undisturbed night's sleep is only possible with the window closed, as a busy road runs past here. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor and was plentiful, including fresh fruit. It was also constantly replenished by the attentive and friendly service. In the inviting bar area you can get something to drink even late at night. Free parking is available in front of and next to the hotel. We were very satisfied with our stay and will be back. Thank you very much!

Also im Vorfeld gibt es ein paar negative Dinge zu berichten, aber hat man das hinter sich gelassen, gibt es auch sehr positives zu vermerken. Bevor ich eintraf, ich hatte über *********** gebucht, wurde ich 2x via Email kontaktiert, ob ich nicht den mobilen Check-in- Service benutzen möchte- im Room Key Express Kiosk bekäme ich einen persönlichen ( davon gehe ich aus…) und einen desinfizierten ( sauber reicht …) Zimmerschlüssel aktiviert. Ich habe mich beim Empfang vorgestellt und wurde begrüßt. Auf dem Zimmer fand ich keinen Sprudel und auch keinen Wasserkocher zum Teekochen vor, Nespressomaschine war vorhanden. Leider konnte bezüglich des fehlenden Sprudels nach meiner Mitteilung am Empfang keine Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Ich wies darauf hin, dass bei 165€/ Nacht das wenig gastfreundlich sei. Warum das so sei, müsse ich nicht wissen….Also habe ich einen Späti gesucht ( nach 18 Uhr) und 2 Wasserflaschen besorgt. Das Zimmer zur Hofseite war ruhig gelegen, das Bett gut, für mich allein war die Größe des Zimmers ausreichend, aus Schweden kannte ich bereits die Möglichkeit die Kleidung nur in einer Art Gestänge und nicht in einem Schrank, aufzuhängen. Das Bad war klein, aber fein: Dusche mit Regenschauer,Bodenheizung und angenehm duftendes Showergel. Die Sauberkeit ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig.Das Zimmer und das Hotel insgesamt hübsch und angenehm eingerichtet, Frühstücksbuffet gute Backwaren, Eier, Wurstwaren und Käse insgesamt qualitätvoll und lecker. Der Checkout sollte auch wieder automatisiert vor sich gehen, aber noch gibt es eine freundliche Dame am Empfang. Insgesamt wirkte das Hotel recht durchökonomisiert, was andere Göste nicht stören mag.

The hotel is ideally located in the city centre and is located in the centre of the city. Some (free) parking places in front of the hotel, others are located in two places a little farther.

It is also advertised with the restaurant for the hotel. Just before, we didn't stay there, but we eat there - so the warning, they go elsewhere, so bad I've never eaten Greek - and I'm sure I'm going to Greece every 2 weeks. I had a pre-feed plate, thinking of Tzatziki, olives, cheese cream, fishrogen cream, etc. Well, first I wondered what a hill of pommes and one of rice nuts had to look at the table. After all, the Tzatziki was ok, the good thumbnail big hack balls not bad. Then some excavated chicken meat (?), it reminded me of chicken nuggets from the Mac. Stark excavated, very thin rings from the ink. I look forward to cheese. I didn't taste anything of cheese in both Tyropitakia and the cheese with a paddle. It can be so good. It was good, the anise drink, the beer too. However, on the map there was a brewery, on the glass another and on the beer cover a third. Maybe noticeable - I didn't even trust anymore to ask for some helpless service. The Retzina of my wife tasted us flavoured, the typical flavor was not recognized. The red house wine should be dry, I found it somehow lifeless. No comparison with a Naoussa or Trachic syrah. After all, my wife was satisfied with the yoghurt with nuts and honey, her gyros found them better than I my food, but too fat. You could say, well, a small village Greek, you can try your eyes. Yes, but this only a little helpless host couple did not do that at all in the bill, which was quite happy for the food. There I had a lot better food in the hotel at the synagogue place on lunch, for almost half of it. Maybe no wonder that only two more tables were occupied. Perhaps no coincidence that the restaurant at Tripadvisor is considered closed, although it has opened up with a lot of goodness and is mentioned in the net as the hotel's restaurant. As I said, I have nothing said about the hotel apparently connected to the restaurant, but even if it may seem so comfortable to eat in the hotel, my opinion: let's.

To summarize Hotel Zeppelin: a very service minded staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms and tasteful breakfast! Arriving late in the evening it was easy to use the self service automate to find our reservation, check in and get our Hotel keys by ourselves. The hotell looked newly renovated and the location was good for the aim of our stay. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the wooden details in bathroom, room and breakfast hall made the atmosphere warmer and more cozy than most hotels. Decent size on the room. The breakfast was tasty and delicately prepared. It had a good choice of different options with a very friendly and service minded staff. The lady even provided private transport for us when it was not possible to get a taxi Sunday morning!! it's really service beyond what I had ever expected and it saved us from 45 minutes walk with heavy luggage. I booked this hotel to attend a nearby wedding in the afternoon. I booked it through *********** and my confirmation stated that I had booked two double bedrooms plus one extra person for each room. However, the hotel did not provide us with a sufficient number of beds. The double bedrooms had one bed each in it, German style, one frame and two 80cm mattresses. There was not enough space in either room for an additional bed. One of the bedrooms would have had enough floor space for one very small camping bed if you removed the chair. We begged with the receptionist to add a bed to allow us all to sleep that night but management refused. They offered us a junior suite with one double bed room and a sofa bed (120cm wide I think with one mattress) but told us that we would have to pay extra for an upgrade and the ”extra” bed that we allegedly had not paid for (irrespective of the *********** confirmation). I should note that after speaking with management the following morning that I was not charged for this upgrade but this didn't change how upset I was on the wedding day. The junior suite was a slightly better sleeping arrangement as it meant that people didn't roll off single mattresses but still not what I was expecting at all. My kids are 11, 9 and 7 and normal size for that age. A sofa bed of those dimension doesn't really work for them all but this seems to be this hotel's only ”solution” for a family with more than two kids. I was also alarmed by the receptionist's assumption that I could have slept with three babies in those double bedrooms with single mattresses non secured on the sides and a big gap between mattresses. This shows a clear lack of understanding how babies need to sleep safely. The double bedrooms we were given first were very small and despite 30 degrees heat did not have air con, a fan or the ability to create air flow. The staff/receptionists did not seem to know the hotel at all. None of the few questions we asked them were answered correctly. For example, they did not confirm the right charge for the hotel car park nor did they provide the right time for check in when I called them before our stay to confirm everything. It was clear to me that the hotel does not cater for families and does not read the booking notices/details they receive from guests/aggregators to ensure that their guests have enough sleeping space. And in German/und auf Deutsch: Uns wurden nicht genuegend Betten angeboten. Als wir dies dem Hotelmanagement/Rezeptionspersonal mitteilten, gaben sie uns die Schuld. Wir haetten angeblich die falschen Zimmer bestellt. Wir hatten ueber *********** als Familie mit fuenf Personen gebucht (so wie immer), bekamen aber nur zwei Doppelbetten (mit jewals 80cm Matratze auf beiden Seiten des Doppelbettes). Management hat sich geweigert, ein Zustellbett fuer unser drittes Kind bereitzustellen, obwohl unsere Buchungsbestaetigung ueber *********** angab, dass beide Doppelzimmer fuer drei Personen geeig
