Ich hatte nicht gewußt, dass das Hotel direkt an das Musical Theater des ”Starlight Express” angrenzt. Fand ich zumindest interessant, auch wenn ich mir keine Musicals anschaue. Gut fand ich schon bei der Ankunft, dass es direkt am Hotel Parkplätze gibt. Ich war früher am Hotel als der früheste Zeitpunkt des Eincheckens. Das war kein Problem und ich mußte nicht in der Lobby warten. Fand ich sehr positiv.
Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, ebenso wie das Bad und auch das Bett. Auch wenn das Zimmer direkt zum Autobahnzubringer lag, war der Verkehr nicht hörbar. Allerdings nur bei geschlossenem Fenster. Für Leute, die mit offenem Fenster schlafen, wird es laut! Das Frühstück war lecker und da war bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei. Einzig der Spa Bereich ist winzig. Im Saunabereich ist eigentlich nur Platz für max. 4 Leute: 2 in der Sauna, 2 auf der Ruheliegen.
Ein Wort noch zu Bochum. Ich war noch nie dort und ich freue mich immer auf meinen Reisen, die bereiste Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Vom Hotel sind es ca. 20Min bis in die Stadtmitte. Ich war total enttäuscht. An einem Sonntag Nachmittag war die City fast menschenleer. Vielleicht ist eine Auto freie Innenstadt nicht immer eine gute Idee...?

We could only make positive experiences with the Hotel Haus Vocke.
The receptionist has received us very friendly, the rooms were very clean and very clean and had really something of holiday feeling.
If I'm in Bochum again, I'll definitely book Hotel Haus Vocke again.

TTabeaWe were here for a concert, so the staff were very busy and the room we had reserved wasn't ready. However, we were given another one and a drink voucher as compensation. The location was very good. When we returned from the concert, the parking garage was already closed (from 0:00), which was very annoying. The breakfast was good.

YYIThe location is very good, opposite the train station, next to the hotel is the subway, walking along the road is Bochum city centre. The hotel staff are very polite and have the strict style of the Germans. The room facilities are properly arranged, but compared to the majority of hotels in the country, and although the buffet breakfast is dazzling, but as the Chinese said that they are not used to eating, it is better to go back to the room to eat biscuits and drink juice.

CCHIN HWEEAdvance payment on Ctrip two months in advance. However, a sum of money was collected when CHECK OUT later, and I did not pay attention. Fortunately, I found out that I had reconciled the credit card. Otherwise, I would have paid twice in vain. At that time, the hotel directly posted the bill without reminding it or seeing it. It feels a bit dark!

NniesiHotel is located right at the back door of Bochumer main railway station. Unfortunately not the best area with many homeless. The hotel itself has come in the years rather, but clean. The staff are very friendly.

SSezD0720Booked for 3 nights to attend a Rammstein concert in nearby Gelsenkirchen. A little out of the way (11km from Gelsenkirchen itself) but a really laid back atmosphere.
As my German is very rusty, I was grateful to see that several members of reception spoke English.
Although their website states they have a restaurant, it appears that it’s only a continental breakfast and no lunches or dinners available.
Anyone who has travelled to Germany, knows that a Sunday basically means hardly anywhere is open.
As a disabled traveller, walking into the local area was out of the question, so had to scramble to check food delivery apps to see who would actually be able to deliver.
This was frustrating to those who don’t drive in European countries or have the ability to walk very far.
However, the staff were very helpful and did try to assist where and whenever possible.
Should I return to this beautiful area of Germany, I would still wish to stay here, just knowing that you can breakfast here and eat out or have takeout delivered for lunch and dinner.

The best way to ask for an extra bed is to ask the store directly. We are four people. There is no extra bed. We have two twin rooms. It is recommended that the couple also have a twin room, which is bigger than the room in the big bed room! ......With children, you can see a lot of people with children... The location of the hotel is super good, just beside the train station, 10 meters away, the parking lot is not clear, because there is no driving!
