Booked this hotel just because it is ”Grand” and it live up to it's name. Never expect them to have concierge which is a rare sight in Europe. Perhaps we had been staying at cheap hotels, haha. But this hotel is not expensive considering the luxury of the room, the size of the bed, toilet even has a bidet and the view of the hotel back yard is pleasant

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, close enough to the train station but in a nice part of town with several restaurants and shops close by. The room was light and modern and very comfortable. But the corridors leading to the rooms are so dimly lit that they are almost in darkness. I presume this is to save electricity but it didn't look very nice and for safety reasons as a lone female traveller it would have been better to actually light the corridors properly so you can see. The reception desk never seemed to have enough staff and I always had to wait about 7 or 8 minutes to talk to someone. But otherwise I had a very pleasant stay

GGuest UserThe hotel is right on a main road, the city center and Hafencity are within easy walking distance in 15-20 minutes. Rooms are OK, but not necessarily 5 stars. Chairs a bit worn, radio channels didn't work, TV only limited on a Friday evening. Lobby/entrance lacks charm. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking garage easily accessible and even after checking out you could leave the car there to go into the city. A week before, we had stayed in a 4 star hotel in a different chain in Bonn. The facilities there were much better. So, as we expected a different standard, we were a bit disappointed. We had breakfast at Café Irma in the side street.

DDamon KhanIt is ideally situated in between the central bus and train stations. Bed is very comfortable and honestly, had one of the best sleeps I had on my first night (when there was only two of us in the room). My second and third night were ruined by new guests that were snoring way louder than the rumblings of the train passing by lols. Had great view from the room window. Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly; truly appreciated that! 👍☺️
Oh! And the elevator is erm… unique 😛

PPHILLIP JAMESAs stated on the website, this hotel is directly opposite the Hamburg Railway Station and this adds to hotel being super handy to all attractions in Hamburg. Also the double decker tours buses leave from the station area. The main LGBTQ bars are also near here. (15 mins walk) My room was located in the middle of the building, so there was no street noise. However, the view was internal - between two buildings and there was very little natural light coming in. The room has no air-conditioning, so during the day it can be a little hot here in summer, but this was not a problem during the evening.. The hotel uses keys not electronic cards, so a little inconvenient. However, the biggest highlight was the included breakfast. Excellent selection of hot and cold dishes updated regularly by hotel staff. There are definitely cheaper places in Hamburg with better room facilities, but the location will always be a winner.

YYauWendyI have to catch an early flight from Hamburg airport and this hotel is close to the S1 train station. from there within 15 minutes I arrive the airport. It takes me ca. 10 minutes walk from hotel to/from Main train station, with a 30 inch big luggage 🧳
I'm glad I can checkout sharply at 5am, the counter is manned 24 hours and their staff are nice to offer help, e.g. lugguage storage, early checkout

CComer the roamerThere must of been a field trip or sporting competition in town because there were no less than 200 teenagers in this hostel! Haha, the room was fine, the bed was hard, the shower was hot, and the view (5th floor) was the other bunk bed rooms and some kind of meeting point for the pigeons. My window also faced the courtyard so it was loud outside my window well into the evening. All in all, it was a room that served its purpose, a place to lay my head.

The hotel security is average, and there are no anti-theft locks on the various doors. The breakfast is quite rich. In general, the comprehensive price-performance ratio is relatively high.

YYONGThere is parking lot, service is OK, check out is 11 o'clock. Very unfriendly, not knocking the door without explaining the reason, unable to communicate in English, except the front desk. The facilities are very poor. The room is small and not as good as a small hotel in the country.
