We booked a trip with the ICE to Hamburg and had problems with the outward journey because the DB closed the rail routes from Freiburg to Rastatt. We drove to Rastatt by car and booked a parking space at the hotel. It was such a warm service to sign in and out. The special highlight was that we got parking for free ❤️. The statement was “We all need more humanity”. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! If we are in Rastatt we will definitely stay at the Castle. 🙏

Good hotel for a stopover. Comfy room. Breakfast not available on hotel currently but breakfast to go was provided. This was a large breakfast with two rounds of sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit, cake, fruit juice, etc. Fed us for breakfast and lunch so excellent value.

Not he customer is king in this hotel, but the General Manager and the Receptionist I arrived late night after 4 hours driving with an online check in made before looking forward to a good night sleep. But it went all different. The receptionist refused to check me in after makijg many mistakes like not informing me about the procedure reason, why despite online check in, I had again to fill in my details, gave me wthe wrong change (24 € to little) when paying. Once I made he receptionist aware, there was no apology but just a comment: „this can happen“. Once the receptionist realized that I was not happy with the service, she told me to leave the hotel and called the police to escort me out. Such a humiliating, frustrating and discrimination I have never experienced in my life after traveling he world and staying in so many hotels. On top, when coming back 2 days later to meet the General Manager, I experienced the devastating attitude since again: no apologies, just accusations, that the guiltily one is me as a customer. If you really have to stay in this hotel, I recommend: 1.) expect no service at all 2.) count carefully the change you receive 3.) don’t say anything, because if you do, the receptionist might not like what you say and will kick you out of the hotel 4.) Look before, what other hotels are in the region so that you are prepared for the unexpected But best is, try to avoid this hotel as long as the current management and employees are still working in this hotel

Especially beautiful 300-year-old house, personally think it is worth experiencing. All aspects are good, the boss is very enthusiastic, and the laundry service is of course not free. Easy parking. Ten minutes journey from Baden Baden. The only problem is that the train sound is a bit loud outside the bedroom window, but people who don't sleep late or don't care are fine. There is also a lack of shading that affects early rise. Give five stars because it is really beautiful and the room is large.

Stayed for 1N whilst in Baden-Baden. The room was good, although lacking in a kettle. I don't necessarily expect complimentary coffee supplies, however a kettle is a must-have for an decent hotel room. No other issues in that respect. Breakfast was good - a good range of continental breakfast options. Parking very convenient, just opposite the hotel main entrance.
