Old Town
老老少皆宜(程世荣)The old town of Rothenburg in Germany is worth a visit. The ancient city walls and plank roads can now be visited. When we came, there were many tourists in the old town of Rothenburg, but not many people climbed the ancient city walls and plank roads, so it was very convenient to take pictures.
Town Hall Tower
Ssuifeng2019Go straight along Buyunlai Road and you will reach the town hall. You can climb the tower of the town hall, which has a wide view. It is very small and can only accommodate more than ten people. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the whole town in 360 degrees.
Plönlein
1138***96It is worth a visit. It is best to stay in the city. You can take a leisurely walk around the city before sunrise or at dusk, on a sunny or rainy day, alone or with your loved ones. It is even better if you make an appointment in advance for a popular meal at the Vampire Restaurant. If you fail to make an appointment, don't be discouraged, after all, there are many delicious restaurants here.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber
__NV***75I couldn't assign school during my language training, so I stayed in Rothenburg during my summer vacation! The road is still filled with stones like the medieval period, so it is difficult to drag a carrier everywhere. ㅋ You can enter this small city with four doors in the castle. Google maps are not very helpful because it is not a road. If you just walk as you like, you will be gathered by the city hall. ㅎ At 12 o'clock, a Meister doll with beer comes out and tells you the time ^^ At night There are also events that volunteers can introduce the city around the street, so please participate at least once ㅎ
St George fountain
__NV***75Rothenburg is a very small city that you can easily see around in 4 hours, but you can't stay in it for only 4 hours because it's so cute. It's a place I always come back to as a memory of the year I spent here in my early 20s. It's a city where time seems to have stopped... They say it's a Christmas city, but in the winter, it gets dark at 4:30, so you can't do anything. Come in the summer. It's bright until 8:30 in the evening.^^
Castle Garden
Ssuifeng2019Due to the weather, there were few people in the castle garden. I met a dog walking with his owner. In Germany, dogs are really like family members. They can stay in hotels and go to restaurants with their owners.
Old Rothenburg Craftsmen House
Jjuki235There are all kinds of ancient handicraft shops on the streets of Rothenburg, selling handicrafts made by the craftsmen themselves. They are very simple and exquisite, full of local regional characteristics. It is worth buying some as tourist souvenirs to bring back as gifts or collections.
Medieval Crime Museum
Jjuki235There are many torture instruments on display in the Crime Museum, as well as the objects and reasons for the punishment. It is very novel. It is my first time to visit such a theme museum. However, I personally feel a little uncomfortable because the wax figures are a bit realistic and a bit disgusting. The ticket is a bit expensive at 5 euros per ticket.
Church of St. James
Ssuifeng2019St. Jacob's Church in Rothenburg was built in the 14th century. The church houses the Holy Blood Altar, which depicts the scene of the "Last Supper" and is said to contain the last drop of Jesus' holy blood.
