GOOD LOCATION BUT LIMITED SVC

Great location and breakfast is OK. There is no elevator

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Actually, we would have preferred to leave immediately. The hotel room looks like it has fallen out of time. The impression is gloomy and not very welcoming. A slightly different lighting and new, friendlier bed linen would do a lot (the sheets are dark brown). The room was not made up after the first night. Maybe forgotten? Of course we could have said something, but in the evening we were glad that we could go to bed. If the missed room service didn't take place because it was Sunday, it would have been nice to have been informed accordingly. The breakfast really pulls it out. Sufficient and varied. It was constantly refilled. The value for money here is unbelievable.

This was a last minute booking owing to a campsite not existing; it's easier to find a local hotel than a nearby campsite which could be miles away! We used *********** to locate a nearby hotel and this was not only the nearest but also the cheapest, possibly owing to it being a last minute booking. We had only one problem and that was getting into the place because it's not staffed all the time and it was Sunday early evening. There was a clear message advising us to ring a number which we did twice but there was no answer. Fortunately some other guests came out of the hotel at this moment and they tried ringing the number and got through. Problem solved and so began a very pleasant stay after this initial hiccup. The room, although hot, was provided with a very adequate fan; it was basic but clean and modern. The bathroom was the same. We had a good night in the very comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning - included in the price - was the highlight. Everything you could possibly want was available and there was plenty of it. The manager was present and he was most helpful. We explained the issues we had had getting in the previous evening and he apologised saying that the receptionist at the hotel we called must have been temporarily away from his post. We also had problems getting items out of the machine in the foyer and he explained that heat can cause this machine not to work, so he gave us a couple of items free from it as compensation. Altogether, despite minor setbacks, we would recommend this hotel.

The people were very friendly, the room was okay, breakfast was good. The room price and the permission to park there with a larger vehicle led to high assessment. No food possibility in the evening led to devaluation.

Our bike tour this year led us to the palace this weekend. The hotel was our perfect base camp for several trips. My room (207) was clean and functionally furnished, the bathroom spacious and very well equipped. At breakfast there is nothing to expose - good standard. On the first night we eat at the hotel. The chef cooks himself and her rugby steak was genial. Overall we were very well cared, people were friendly, helpful and competent. I'd like to go back.

Very nice in the center, many dining facilities near, even late in the evening. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful. Rooms were OK and the bathroom was clean. In the room was a non-functioning steel lamp and there was lighting behind the corner, that was a bit funny. WiFi was probably a little far from the router, but was absolutely OK, just a few short reception interruptions, depending on where I was in the room with the mobile. In general I am very satisfied!
