just returned from an excellent 10 night stay. having read other reviews I was a bit sceptical. we had no issues at check in or check out the whole process was very smooth. 200 euro deposit was promptly returned. The apartment had everything we needed, no English tv though. air con was good especially at night. beds were too hard I found, so found it hard sleeping. the pool was adequate, and we had no issue getting sunbeds. no reserving them and towels are removed, which I think is fair. the pool bar not the best but we didn't starve. I would have no hesitation staying here again and look forward to doing so in the near future

The hotel is ok, probably a decent 3* in my opinion. The rooms are dated but clean, we didn’t have any tea or coffee and there were no cold drinks offered daily in the fridges which was a little weird, most all inclusive resorts stock and re stock cold drinks and tea and coffee daily in the rooms. We asked for the child's bed to be made up in the living room twice over the course of a few days but it never was. The food was ok, loads of choice but wasn’t the best quality, the a la Cart’s weren’t that impressive either. The salad bar was alright. The juice machines are rubbish and obviously not fresh juice. The coffee machines are rubbish as well. We bought our own coffee from the shop for a brew in the morning. The popcorn tasted like it had been sat there for ages and wasn’t fresh, which we also has to pay for. The fizzy drinks were ok, just the usual coke, sprite, fanta ect. The beer was Cruzecampo but the spirits were awful you could pay extra for top shelf but this should be included given the price of the place. The facilities were ok, the place is massive but hasn’t been upgraded. In the arcade around 70% of the games / machines ect were broke. The swimming pool is shallow, the deepest part was the middle and that comes up to your waist, most of it was knee height, good for the little ones but rubbish if you want to go for a swim, and the deepest part is sectioned off for the majority of the day for activities ect. The beach club over the road is ok but the pools are freezing and i mean, freezing, my little one was shivering after a couple of mins and it was 30+ degrees in the sun. The entertainment team were good but the stage area isn’t the best, they need a proper dance floor for the kids, and there’s a lot on around when the entertainment was on, there was trampolines and go karts and more trampolines and stalls with light up toys (all of which you have to pay extra for), my little one found this overwhelming, all she wanted to do was buy things and go on things and this got in the way of her enjoying the show most evenings. The hotel is in the middle of Benalmádena and Fuengirola and it’ll cost you around 15 euro in a taxi to reach either, one way, too far to walk. Although there’s a nice little bar called Gecko Bar just up the road, 5 mins walk and it overlooks the coast, give that a go if you fancy a decent cocktail because you won’t get one at the hotel. The piano bar was a nightmare for us, we were right above it and with a little one it was difficult to get to sleep before 1am. We found this was where the Spanish guests congregated most evenings because the entertainment was aimed at them. Also, there is a Disney show on the main stage, we were all relatively excited to see it, like any parent would be with their kid but it was in Spanish, that was disappointing and a few other guests felt the same. The entertainment is mainly for Spanish guests after 10.30 / 11pm. Also, i don’t care what adults get up to in the

From start to finish we had a fabulous time. The hotel was always being cleaned and was kept beautiful. We had a brilliant room 164 right by the sun and moon terrace and it was very modern. Lovely decor and bathroom was newly refurbished. The sun and moon terrace had a lovely atmosphere and sometimes had entertainment which was a great addition. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and you are always guaranteed a sunbed. We were bed and breakfast and there was always a great choice of options available: the live cooking station did fresh eggs, omelettes, or even pancakes for those who wanted that instead. A huge variety of cakes and pastries, an option for full breakfasts which were delicious and loads of fruit and meats with bread. The coffee is also Nescafé and is brilliant to get your morning fix😆 The location is superb! Whether you are heading to the Marina which is stunning or whether you visit la Carihuela it’s perfect. We had a great holiday and will definitely be back! We will also be recommending to family and friends! Thanks hotel alay! 💙

Very helpful and friendly staff. Most professional. Beautiful gardens, lovely hotel clean and tidy. Modern with very enjoyable entertainment each evening. Most enjoyable stay that made a trip to remember with a perfect location. Nothing too much for the staff. Hairdresser on site and coffee shop too. A five minutes walk from the beach with 2 wonderful swimming pools on site.

Stayed at the Wiru arrived before 2, rooms where ready, quick check in yes did have to pay 25 euros for adult wrist bands as they are your door keys too we knew this before we came. Room was of a good size and balcony too. Bed was comfy. A little tired in places but we didnt spend much time in it. The pool was ideal for children sloped in like a beach then got deeper. Pool bar was good nice staff yes sometimes a queue gave you chance to chat to other guests. Thank you to the restaurant desk staff who sorted out my gluten free meals they where so lovely and gave us big hugs most days. Food was good I did use the microwave a couple of times at breakfast not a problem for me. Thanks Carmen, Alba and Mario and all the animation team we had a great time with you, you are the best. The entertainment after the kids dancing was good we enjoyed it not on every night but you can go to the other hotels if you let them know. The water park was ok the pirate ship was not in use while we where there very busy with school children too. The resturant in the water park was good. We have a lovely family holiday thanks again
