Just back from a lovely relaxing weeks stay. We loved it! It is kinds of built into the hillside so all the rooms have the most amazing sea/mountain views. The rooms are good size and alot of care has been taken with the decor etc to keep the place 'authentic'. The staff are super and we really enjoyed the food. The scallops are just gorgous. Paddy loved the prawns. Having said that we tried pretty much everything on the menu and enjoyed every dish. We hired a car (as it was less than tranfer) but if you dont fancy driving you can easy manage without one. If you just want to chill out the food/service and drinks are great at the hotel. If you fancy a change there is a 24/7 diner 10 min walk down the hill (wear comfy shoes its VERY steep on the walk back up!) Taxi to Nerja is about 10 euro and you more organised than we are there is a bus on main road. It was lovely and relaxing to have drinks on the terrace taking in the views and beautiful weather. Middle of Nov and 23 degrees every day of our stay!. We enjoyed chilling and reading around the pool (not brave enough to go in it mind). This place is a little diamond and we look forward to return visit in next 5/6 months. Miguel/Carole and the team do a wonderful job and you can see they actually love what they do.

We celebrate a wedding in this place and we also chose to stay there (by using rooms). The restaurant's organisation of the celebration, inexpensive: the servants were very careful to the needs of both guests and those who are direct family of the boyfriends. We would certainly recommend this place for celebrations.As the parents of the boyfriend, we thank all staff for the treatment received and the quality of the service.

We booked a Superior room bed & breakfast for two weeks in January. This is what we liked … The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Rosa & the cleaning ladies. The place was very clean. The room had air con which you could turn up if you wanted some heat in the evening. The water was always hot in the walk in shower. The bed was huge and comfy. There was a safe in the large wardrobe. The patio had 2 plastic chairs and a table plus 2 sun beds (no cushions). It was very quiet once the bathroom window was closed. There’s bath & hand towels, as well as pool towels, soap dispenser and hair drier. There was a fridge in the room too (Tip: keep the cupboard door open as much as possible so the fridge stays cold. Not sure why it’s kept in a cupboard?) Mercadona supermarket next door, very handy for cold drinks, snacks etc. There’s car parking at the front and back of the hotel if needed. Best of all, it’s no smoking!! Things I can’t say we didn’t like, but were downsides to staying there. The restaurant was closed for the whole of January which we didn’t know. We did find some lovely places to eat though. It’s a long way to walk to the beach and most restaurants, but there is a bus (number 1) that drops you off outside the hotel so you don’t have to walk back. Stops at 9pm. This bus only does a circular and isn’t the Alsa bus. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. We got over that by buying our own cereal and fresh milk from Mercadona and eating it in the breakfast room. The pillows were really hard so we asked for some softer ones. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Great location near city centre and night life. Air conditioned room very clean and comfortable with a balcony with table and chairs which was an extra. Double glazing balcony doors made the room noise free. Good breakfast included. Nadya the host was very nice and helpful. Strongly recommend this place.
