We stayed for 3 nights and played golf twice. The hotel looks quite grand when you arrive,and we had no trouble parking, although it’s low season. In high season I expect you would have difficulty finding a parking space outside, in which case you would have to pay to park in the hotel underground facility. Our room had a lovely view with a small balcony over the swimming pool. It was fully functional and clean, but pretty tired. The air conditioning seemed to have been set to winter mode, so the room was 25C. Maybe okay for Spanish guests, but far too hot for us. The chamber maids, maintenance man, then hotel Director all tried to rectify the problem, which was subsequently rectified the following day. We were offered a move to an apartment, but didn’t fancy that. The beds in the room were also too hard for us, and the maids put on toppers the second night which made them a bit softer. Breakfast was pleasant, standard fare. We didn’t have dinner, but ate in the bar, which again was fine. We sat out on the terrace one lunchtime in the sunshine, and I suspect the pool area is lovely in high season. One lunchtime, the hotel recommended a restaurant in Aguadulce, restaurant Mistela Gastronomia, which was excellent. Very easy and cheap to get a taxi there and back. We played golf twice. Both days were at the weekend, but the course was very quiet, and we were not paired with anyone else. Very unusual even in low season. The area, and course is very hilly, so I would recommend a buggy (unless you’re super fit). It’s a woodland course, which I found quite interesting and challenging. Any water features are dry at the moment. ‘Rustic’ is the description I would use to describe the course. The pro shop were very friendly and surprisingly well stocked with a variety of clubs. It’s difficult to see how the hotel has achieved 5 star status, but the place grew on us, as all of the staff were so friendly. Despite having to complain, everyone we came into contact with tried their best to help, and seemed to want us to have a nice time. Not sure we would return, but we had a pleasant couple of days.

If you have a car to move this hotel, I think it's perfect to know Almería capital and the rest of the province. It's very easy to access the Viapark shopping area where the hotel is located from the highway A7. The staff is pleasant. The rooms are spacious and very bright, the king size bed and with a super comfortable bed. The bathroom is also spacious, modern and clean, with a super big shower. There are no parking problems and there is a Carrefour hypermarket right in front.

A very ordinary apartment hotel. I was already there more often. This time the bedroom was quite narrow and I had no sea view. The hotel was very surprised full. The hotel has a good tapas bar with cheap offers. There are other bars and restaurants in the surrounding area with Spanish guests. Beach about 500m. There are only a few free parking spaces. This was our first holiday with our 4 year old son. We looked at the reviews and noticed a few people mentioning that it was mostly Spanish holiday makers, that the staff seemed to focus on them and the English were left out. Well yes that statement is true it is, but it’s Spain what do you expect, we actually found the staff very friendly and spoke very good English, they included our son in most things, and where it was an activity that was complicated it didn’t seem to bother him that he couldn’t understand a word they said, as a matter of fact it was quite amusing watching three children of different nationality playing and talking to each other even though they didn’t have a scooby what the other was saying. The hotel itself was smart, and very clean, all staff went the extra mile to help. The food was delicious with a great variety for all tastes, even our son on his beige diet ate quite well. There were meat and fish options along with veg and salad, rice and pasta, and a selection of desserts including little tubs of ice cream. The pool area was really good and perfect for what we wanted, with different areas for different age groups, and conveniently if you have mixed ages it’s easy to position yourself to see both. The beach is nice but the water gets very deep very quickly, but little ones can still enjoy the water without getting out of their depth. It’s not really sand it’s more very tiny gravel, so depending on how you cope in bare feet, take something with you. Finally to the hotel manager, thank you for making our holiday such a special occasion, and thanks to the bar staff for putting up with my attempt at Spanish, they were very nice and friendly. Well deserved 5stars

Great location in the beach. Lots of nice restaurants and bars near by. Pleasant staff. Rooms needed to do what the did (a bed for the night) breakfast average. Was not there long enough to use the pool or the facilities. Would stay again as it’s a great base to travel to nearby areas. Almeria was about 20 mins in the car.

Beautiful hotel located right in the port with an abundance of delightful restaurants and bars. We booked the junior suite with jacuzzi, rather disappointed as no sun loungers on our private terrace despite plenty of room to accommodate them. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, check in staff were wonderful however I strongly disagree with a €15 room service charge, even if you only want a glass of wine bringing to you. When you pay €250 a night I expect as a minimum to be able to order a drink to my room. We ended up walking to the bar next door, a 2 minute walk and spent €118 for a delicious lunch and drinks do the hotel is missing out on extra revenue because of this ‘ service ‘ charge policy. Surely in todays day and age you should be able to order extras without incurring a charge for a standard hotel service

Lovely family holiday made even more special by the fabulous entertainment team! Big shout out to Manuel and Denis who really worked hard to get everyone involved in pool side games and night time entertainment! Bar staff were lovely, although there could be long queues at times. Food was average and quite repetitive but always found something to eat. There wasn't a lot of bars/restaurants close by but the harbour was only about a 25 minutes walk away and there was a few cafes that seved food late evening. Rooms were clean and spacious and quite modern. Overall a great stay, ideal for families with children and we would return!
