We had two stays here in July, both for a number of days and all I can say is that we really loved it. It is situated within and close to the Roman wall. It is within easy walking distance of numerous bars and restaurants and some of the key tourist attractions e.g the cathedral and the Museo a Domus do Mitreo, both of which are well worth visiting. The hotel is also close to steps leading upto the top of the wall so, if you are up for it, you can enjoy the 3km walk around it. We had what we felt must be, the best room in the hotel with 2 balconies overlooking the wall, the modern city beyond and the countryside. The room basically had everything we needed apart from perhaps a second chair and a perhaps a box of tissues. The bed was comfortable and they kindly provided a kettle so we tea mad English could have a cup when ever we wanted one. As said it is a bit quirky with artifacts absolutely everywhere and some of them we felt would be worth quite a bit. There are even full sixed 'mannequins' in the outdoor seating area which is a great place to sit and have a drink and people watch! Breakfast is available every morning and dinner is from Wednesday to Sunday evenings. The breakfast is fine but there could be a little more variation while the evening dining experience which we did a few times was excellent. What was amazing was the staff. We could not praise them enough. Everyone did everything to make sure our stay was enjoyed. So, BIG THANKS to Maria and Manuel, their 'grown up' children, Maria, Manuel and Nikolas and not forgetting the cook Alejandro. We are likely to be in Lugo again sometime next year and there is only one place we will stay - HERE!

RRuru CHIENThe check in counter is a bit small, there are many people to wait, the room is very comfortable, and the TV has a Netflix/YouTube, bathroom part is a bit embarrassing. If it is a friend, it is easy to meet frankly, but it is equipped with a full-length mirror, the decoration is comfortable, the breakfast is also very rich, and it is recommended to come to Lugo. It is worth mentioning that the sound insulation is good. I thought there were not many people staying, so it was very quiet. As a result, I found many people at breakfast time.

There is a supermarket next to the hotel and parking spaces downstairs. Room facilities and restaurants are good.

We stayed at Hotel Ribeira Sacra during our route through the Ribeira Sacra and it was a perfect decision. From the first moment, we were in love with its central location, which allowed us to move easily to explore the area and return without complications after a day full of adventures. The room they have allocated was a real comfort shelter, especially the bed was incredibly comfortable; of those that stick and make it difficult for you to get up in the morning. The staff was always friendly and careful, giving us recommendations on what to see and do in the Sacred Riviera. The hotel, though simple, has everything necessary for a comfortable stay: Quick Wi-Fi, varied breakfast and a quiet atmosphere that invites to rest. We will certainly stay here again in our next visit. ¡ Absolutely recommendable!

Taking the least expensive 2 rooms over 7 days is a real test. This hotel is solid. Positives include: Best Housekeepers, Fastest Laundry Service, Fastest Room Service, Good Breakfast, Clean Room. Best Parking. Easy access to all directions around Lugo. Negatives: Guests seem to slam doors here alot and it sounds like gunshots ( use earplugs if this is an issue), Front facing rooms overlook a main road, bit in winter with the windows closed this was not an issue. A reminder this is not so much a tourist hotel but a busy business/transit hotel. Very busy restaurant cafeteria...staff there always smiling and cheerful. Alot to like at this hotel.

Quiero ser lo más honrado y justo en mi opinión sin tener en cuenta opiniones anteriores, basadas en mi experiencia personal. A destacar: Ubicación excelente a 200 mts de la muralla. Atención del personal de recepción ( Laura y Celtia) muy profesional y agradables en todas las gestiones realizadas. Atención de las camareras de hsabitación muy buenas . Detalle de agua mineral y golosinas gratis. A mejorar : Habitación 405 , cuarto de. baño pequeño, mejorar la insonorización puesto qué dicha habitación se encuentra en la cuarta planta y está orientada a una calle dónde habitualmente pasan muchos vehículos. Algunas fotos del hotel, como suele ser habitual en muchos hoteles,no muestran la realidad del mismo. Resumen : Estancia agradable, mejorable en algunos aspectos. Balance positivo

GGuest UserLocated in a beautiful location, about 30 ́s walk from Viveiro. The hotel is quite recent, very large and comfortable rooms. One but: the TV is too small for a 4-star hotel. The staff, fantastic. The spa is very friendly and professional. About the spa: OK, but in peak hours it's small. It offers a 50 and 90' circuit. The short are shoes and jacuzzi. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. We couldn't try the panoramic restaurant, because they had events and was full (recommended to book in advance) Small but correct gym. Breakfast buffet quite good. Not excellent, but well. Parking easy outside. No reservation is required.
