Driving from Basel Airport about 2H5, you will pass Roses! About ten minutes from the hotel to Cadaques ✨ The hotel is on a hill. It is recommended to use Google map+ for navigation. There is a small intersection that says Se Perafita, just go along the mountain road! The exterior of the building is very original, the rooms are very cozy, and the toilets are very clean! Hot water and daily necessities are all complete! The owner is also very nice and patient ~ free parking ✨ The view of the whole hill is really good! Many people who stay in will bring their pets to stay for a few days, and you can see the sunset through the big glass windows from the bed! The most beautiful moment is 8-9pm every night~ ✨ The breakfast is rich, as shown in the picture. The croissant bread, ham slices, cheese, coffee juice, are all made by the boss himself for the guests! It’s only available at 9 o’clock every day~ ⚠️ Although the hotel is good, I still have to give you some suggestions ▪️It is not recommended to book if there is no car! Because it is really on the mountain, it is extremely difficult to take a taxi! ▪️ Come back before sunset! Whether coming back from roses or cadaques is a mountain road, coming back at night will be more dangerous! ▪️If you can't find the way, you must find a place to stop! It's really easy for Miss to drop the road here, and the navigation is not very good, we guided it three times before it was right! Because the whole road is mountain road, it is not easy to park. Octavia is less than 100 meters from the sea, located in the middle of the island’s coastline. We booked a triple room, one big bed, one small bed, the room is separated by a wall. The bathroom is quite big with a bathtub. The breakfast is very simple, all processed products, no hot food. You can also eat full, bread slices, ham slices, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee. You can walk around the island when you go out of the hotel, and it’s no problem to walk three times a day. To get to Dali’s house, you have to go up high, about 20 minutes’ walk, and it’s not bad to get lost in the alleys.

Uncomplicated place to stay, but with a lot of attention to detail in the design and functionality. Family owned, built and run. Super top hosts. Excellent location in the center of the action. The city is a majo al place and you will enjoy the sites, views and delicious meals. Make su visit the MJ vineyards restaurant and the bar al the Marina Hostal with their local Gin for the gin tonic. At night try cafe de la Habana for cocktails and the Tropical nigh life club/ party house.

I usually wait until after a stay to write a review, just in case anything happens, but after one night here, I'm confident in this review. This is one of the friendliest, prettiest, and most comfortable places I've stayed. Perfect location atop a hill with town and sea views from all rooms. I have a ground floor superior double room with a terrace (room 4). The aesthetic of the hotel (common areas and rooms) is chic, modern, and clean, with lots of sunlight and white walls accented with blues, green, light woods, and thoughtful design. Breakfast selection was fresh and varied, from boiled eggs and tortilla to fresh fruits, avocado, and breads. In room amenities included stocked espresso machine (including decaf) and mini fridge with bottled water. The staff have all been very helpful and friendly. I took the bus from Barcelona (Moventis, 2.75 hours, 27€ one way), and it was an easy 7-minute walk from the bus station (with just one small hill). I haven't tried lunch or dinner in the restaurant yet but plan to, as well as use the pool and complimentary bicycles. Looking forward to a few more days in this cozy oasis.
