This is a lovely old Covent that is now a boutique hotel. The location is convenient as well as beautiful. . Breakfast is excellent, the dining room is lovely with a beautiful Courtyard to eat outside as well. All the common areas are very comfortable and interesting. Staff was delightful. We were in room 131, it is rather small, with an awkward setup that did not allow easy access to the small shelf that served as a night stand due to the elaborate headboard, so I had to use the small chair as a night stand. Bathroom also very small with no countertop or shelves or hooks for anything. But we made it work for the 3 nights we stayed. The small balcony allowed for fresh air as the room had the heat on even though it was very warm outside. The air conditioning had already been turned off centrally. I must also mention that I believe there may be mold in room 131. The entire time I was inside the room I had an allergic reaction. I was fine in all the public spaces as well as outside, so I came to the conclusion it must have been mold somewhere in the room. Hopefully that will be resolved as we definitely would love to stay next year when we return to Vic.
For me the hotel is in city center. English speaking staff to help me with parking place. Place is available for car under hotel and it costs 17 euros / 1 day. Room is small and clean. Bathroom is big and clean. Wifi without issue. Breakfast is very taste. If I compare with hotels around Vic, menu for breakfast is not big, but breakfast is good. Nothing to claim and if I will be in this location next time, I will take same place for trip.
We had time to arrive at 10... but well until 15.00 we didn't let us enter. We left the bags in order. The receptionist who took care of us was right but for nothing pleasant , but the receptionist (man) was pleasant. The rooms were fine but with some details to improve: the tank was loaded water all night and when you gave it ... it didn't work. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

I rate this hotel highly because of the care the staff take of guests. A small example, I rang reception, which is not continually manned, and within seconds the staff member, who had missed the call came to my door; some smart software, but also alertness. Another example, when I inquired about using the (indoor) pool, that same staff member brought a towel and took me to the pool. It's not large but it is heated. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom equipped with an excellent shower. The food in the restaurant, and the service, was top drawer. I liked the fact that the breakfast was Catalan. I would be happy to return here.

On the upside: a lovely location in the middle of the countryside with extraordinary views over the lake and fantastic walking nearby. We stayed three nights and saw the view in sunlight, under fog, in rain. It was magical. The staff were very friendly too. our room was also a good size. But ... the hotel is in serious need of an upgrade (which I believe is coming). The rooms felt old and, for a Parador, strangely lacking in character. The floor was buckled, there was black mould in the bathroom, the rooms lacked basic amenities - there was no kettle or tea or coffee provided, no local information or even a guide to the hotel. The pool had closed and the multisport court was overgrown and clearly unusable. Breakfast was shocking. Hardly any choice of cereal. You had to request milk (which routinely came out hot when we had asked for cold). The coffee machines barely work. Anything hot had to be requested from the kitchen and arrived dumped on the plate with no grace. On the first day we asked for some bacon which managed to be simultaneously burned and uncooked. Bread was routinely frozen and nothing (apart, possibly from the orange juice) felt fresh. The really odd thing was that it felt as if breakfast was still being run as if the pandemic was in full swing - everyone had their own pair of serving tongs, every piece of fruit was in its own bowl.., Dinner was a little better. But we were staying for three nights and by the end we felt as if we had exhausted the menu. But even dinner didn't wow us. We have stayed in many Paradors over the years and always loved our time there. This is our first time since the pandemic. I hope this experience doesn't reflect a general drop in standards.
On February 17th, my mother had an accident at the hotel’s spa due to a wet floor that had not been cleaned. Furthermore, there was no signage indicating that the floor was slippery. As a result, my mother fell, broke her wrist, and dislocated her kneecap. She was immobilized for months, had to undergo extensive wrist rehabilitation, and needs surgery this year to replace her knee. We have contacted the hotel multiple times via email and phone. We were promised a response from the insurance company, which we obviously never received. We have followed up with the hotel several times, but our requests remain unanswered to this day. These actions, in addition to being unlawful and dishonest, demonstrate a significant lack of professionalism and disrespect towards customers. We strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.
The rooms are fine, comfortable, have a small refrigerator that is very resolute, our rooms had a balcony with views of the river ter, air conditioning and a reasonably comfortable bed, there is no option to breakfast in the hotel restaurant, But that's not a problem, you can have a consistent breakfast in a bar of the same wax.
The average price for hotels in Vic is AED 450 on weekdays, and AED 457 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
