The room is clean and the neighborhood is quiet. It's a bit far from the city center but it doesn't take long to walk. The only small drawback is that the rooms in the back building don't have an elevator (there are only two floors). When checking out, you can ask the hotel staff to help carry your luggage downstairs.

The location is very good. There is a small lake next to the hotel, IKEA, supermarkets, shopping districts, restaurants, and the facilities are very good. The room size is good and the supporting facilities are complete. The service standard of the chain hotel and the standard of the buffet breakfast are relatively guaranteed. There are plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot, and guests can park for free. It is a 10-minute drive from the center of Bordeaux, which is worth recommending.

The breakfast is rich and the transportation is very convenient. Although it is not in the city center, the light rail C line can be reached, and the self-driving parking is also very convenient. The hotel is small and exquisite. The waiter said that the building has a history of 200 years and its location is very good. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the commercial street.

Super basic and small room, but right for the price. One thing that should definitely be mentioned is that the hotel is located on a pedestrian street not reachable by car. I haven't found any mention of this anywhere, but it is essential information for those who have to book Uber.

Not bad, check in at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, at the beginning the room had a strange smell and the door could not be locked. After waiting for half an hour, the staff waited for half an hour and changed one. There was no strange smell and the hygiene was good. Considering that the front desk of an apartment hotel in France can still solve the problem during off hours, it is good. If you do not check in within the specified check-in time, you should contact the hotel to get the door code and the safe code for the key.

GGuest UserThe hotel is modern, the rooms are well-equipped, clean, and the mattresses are very comfortable. The lobby is nice, with a place to work on the computer and sofas to have a drink with friends. Breakfast on the top floor offers a view of the wine city, but there are not many breakfast options. There is a swimming pool on the top floor and rock climbing on the hotel's exterior wall, but it's a pity that I didn't have time to experience it! It's a five-minute walk from the wine city, a little far from the city center, and can be reached within 20 minutes by tram. Very cost-effective!

Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city.
The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time...
Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

OOliweiHotel walking distance to railway station (10min), some supermarket around. Bedroom is OK, bathroom super big (wheelchair accessible, I guess), kitchen little small (compare to bathroom), can be little bigger and smaller bathroom. Small window, but OK during hot day. Clean, calm. There is a sauna and a gym. Little far of city center, but convenient for train.

GGuyQuiet even in the middle of the pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux!
Breakfast buffet with great choices both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, cartridge coffees, coffee beans, teas…. and of course a tray of cannelés tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right across the road from the train station and tram/bus stops. I had a nice stay except for two things. First, the tap/shower water was too hot. A hotel staff showed me how to adjust the water temperature and said it was like this all in France. I of course disagree. I had stayed in two ibis hotels in Paris and Nantes just before checking in this Mercure. I had stayed in countless hotels throughout my 30 years of travels in Europe and had never encountered this ”scalding water” issue. In any case, the solution was to let the water run an exceptionally long time till the very hot water ran out. Then I could adjust the temperature. I come from a place where people treasure fresh water and find this unacceptable. As the hotel take international guests, perhaps there should be notices/instructions in the bathroom on how to deal with this ”scalding water” issue.
Second, the coffee provided in the room was below expectation. A 4-star hotel should do better than that. I was glad about the kettle in the room, though.

杭杭The location is acceptable, in the central area of Bordeaux, 500 meters walk after getting off the airport bus, the gate entrance is on the side of the street, easy to find, arrive at more than 10 o'clock in the evening, there are many people at the entrance of the bar, and feel safe. The rooms are small, with good hygiene, comfortable bedding and average breakfast. The front desk was good, and the taxi was booked, a better experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very dated with old furniture nearly falling apart. However the room is big, the bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful. The location is really good within walking distance to the center. Most important for us to book this hotel is its gated secured car park.

Here's the pro about apparteo (Good location next to the bassins a flot, really nice view during my stay which you could see a beautiful sunset 🌇 , bus station just in front of the hotel and not too far away the tram station cité du vin which is only 5 Stations away from Center of Bordeaux, you have also Les hangars not far away which is one of the most peaceful place to walk day or night, I mean Apparteo position is actually really good, everything looked clean except a few things but doesn't bother, it is a also a residence of students)
Now about the cons, if someone didn't help me, I couldn't have entered the building nor having access to do the check-in, in fact you need a pin code that I Never received which the card of your room is inside with other card which can be a little bit odd, anyway can have access to it, the office was close each time I try to check someone no matter the time, the smell in the bathroom was really unpleasant but I could manage to get over it from opening every window and little perfume, but it come back if I keep the door close of the bathroom
The table where I was eating was moving a lot, but honestly other than those few cons that can be managed, it was a really pleasant stay, I enjoyed a lot and could sleep really well, calm, peaceful, nice view
I highly recommend this place as the few cons can be solved easily, just wished to see someone at the reception and it would have been even better.
Voici les bons de l'établissement Apparteo, celui-ci est vraiment très bien situé proche des bassins à flots, la chambre qui m'a été attribué avait une excellente vue avec un couché de soleil vraiment magnifique et apaisant, il y a une station de bus juste devant l'hôtel et la station de tram cité du vin n'est pas loin, celle-ci est à seulement 5 Stations du centre de Bordeaux , pas très loin il y a aussi les hangars, belle promenade de jour comme de nuit, honnêtement Apparteo est très bien positionné, tout été assez propre malgré de légers défauts, Apparteo est aussi une résidence étudiante.
Maintenant pour la mauvaise parti, heureusement qu'une personne qui séjournent dans l'établissement m'a aider sinon je n'aurai pas eu l'accès à celui-ci ni eu la possibilité de récupérer ma réservation de chambre, surtout qu'il y a besoin d'un code pour ouvrir la boîte où se trouve enveloppe pour la carte de chambre, le problème ici c'est qu'il y a aussi les réservations d'autres personnes accessible, je pense qu'il faudrait sécurisé un peu plus l'accès à ses informations, du coup ni a mon arrivée ni a mon départ je n'ai pu croisé de réceptionniste, il y avait aussi une odeur assez désagréable dans la salle de bain / toilette, ouvrir les fenêtres et mettre un peu de parfum à pu atténuer l'odeur mais celle-ci revenez si je fermé la porte de la salle de bain, la table à manger été assez instable mais en dehors de cela , le séjour été vraiment agréable, belle endroit, assez calme, fan des bassins à flot, la vue incroyable, bref excellent de se côté là
Au final je recommande totalement Apparteo malgré les petits défauts qui peuvent être résolu assez rapidement avec de la volonté, vraiment dommage que je n'ai pu croisé personne a la réception.
