Best Martigues Hotels

This place is exactly what you would expect from an Ibis Hotel. It is clean, tidy and organised. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable. The entertainment offering in the room is surprisingly good, especially for English speakers. All in all. we recommend this hotel for a brief overnight stay.

Personnel agréable serviable et à l’écoute. Hotel récemment rénover. Chambre propre et bien nettoyer. Piscine agréable. Petit dej possible et possibilité d’utilisé leur frigo. Plutot bien situé pour aller dans le centre. Cependant les murs entre les chambres sont peu isolés et on peut entendre les voisins si ils sont un peu trop bruyant.

This was a very nice experience for a solo traveler and I came here as of the recommendation of other travelers. Staff was very friendly and helpful with giving tips and advice for what to do in the area. Breakfast was very nice and overall a very good hotel for solo traveling!

Petit hotel sympathique, personnel agréable. Place de parking payante. Le centre n’est pas loin, j’ai laissé la voiture à l’hotel pour visiter. Ma chambre (la 211) était petite, très bien pour moi seule, mais la salle de bain n’a pas de porte. La porte des toilettes est coulissante par manque de place. Bouilloire dans la chambre et lit très comfortable. Très jolie décoration. Avec la fenetre ouverte un peu de bruit de voitures. Bon petit dejeuner, assez de choix au buffet. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Cela fait déjà plusieurs années que j'y vais l'établissement à subi des changements qui sont nettement meilleur pour notre séjour je recommande sans hésitation le personnel est tout simplement au top petite Parrentese pour l'adjointe ou la responsable Assia juste au top du top depuis des années le nouveau personnelle eux aussi sont super Gentil arrangeant propreté de l'hôtel rien à dire comme dab

I was room 102: air conditioning was dustful, it did not work well and breathed smoke smells over the room.... To corone all, opening the window, you fall directly on the entrance of the hotel and at 5 a.m. people discuss and then take their breakfast.... To avoid!

We stayed as a group of 6 in this hotel for 5 nights. We were in Martigues for a family party so didn't spend much time in the hotel but we were disappointed with it. The rooms are very basic and more suited to stay 1 night or 2 max. Our room smelt damp and of cigarettes which we complained about and was offered to move to a room next to reception so we said no. The room was also not cleaned well, it had cobwebs in the corner and was not vacuumed for a few days at least. We had to ask for more toilet roll on more than one occasion and foot and hand towels were not always provided. One member of our group ate breakfast once and was not impressed. We opted to buy our breakfast from the boulangerie round the corner and paid for coffee from the hotel. The amenities listed above are inaccurate, the rooms are not sound proof, I could hear the person next door brushing their teeth! If there was a games room and activities stated, we did not see any of these. We asked for a plaster and they did not have a first aid kit, this was very alarming. The extractor fan in our bathroom didn't work and when reported was told 'it is just like that sometimes'. All staff were polite and tried to be helpful but gave us the wrong bus times on 3 occasions. Unless you have a car this hotel isnt in the best location and the area of Martigues isnt very accessible. Taxis are very expensive from the hotel and uber is hard to access. As we didnt spend much time in the hotel, these things didn't spoil our holiday luckily. One plus, it has a pool and a good hair dryer. This hotel is cheap for a reason so if you plan to stay for more than one night, think twice.
