The immediate environment is not fun, but the smiling welcome at reception corrects the first impression. Quite large room, very clean. Comfortable bedding. Sufficient storage space for a short stay. Good sound insulation: even on the street side, you can't hear the traffic. Very clean bathroom, but unusable bathtub: the protruding water spout is positioned on the head side. The shower is not particularly practical either (fixed shower head). Breakfast is of the expected standard with a sufficient choice and perfectly suitable products (bread and pastries, etc.)
Breakfast is common to Chinese people, anyway, bread, milk coffee, chocolate. It is a farmhouse. There is free outdoor parking. The surrounding environment is very good, there is a lake. But staying early, it is not good to find a place at night.
Easy to find and well located just a 5 minute drive into Blois. Lovely friendly check in and we had a garden room as requested due to having our dog. Access from our room straight onto the garden area was perfect for us. Nice breakfast which we found to be good value for money. The hotel has pleasant garden areas to sit in. Our room was not large but ok if just sleeping in it. There is a great reception area to use anyway so not an issue for us. Recommend going to Parc Des Meers (especially if you have children or a dog).
Lovely little 2star hotel. Excellent for visiting the Loire Chateaux. In a pleasant village with half a dozen restaurants of varying prices. The hotel itself is comprised of a main building with 2 upper floors, with fairly steep stairs. Don’t be put off by the rather drab stairway, our room and bathroom were lovely and immaculately clean with a huge comfortable bed. There are single story rooms arranged around the courtyard, with outside tables for breakfast and to use in the evening. There is a pleasant indoor breakfast room. The swimming pool is big enough for the number of clients and has an indoor shower and toilet area, sunloungers and chairs and inflatables and toys to fit children of all ages! Breakfast was standard continental, juice , yoghurt, croissants, jam, bread and coffee ,generous and excellent. Very friendly family run. English spoken. Acid test.. would we use it again? ...Absolutely
