I had a business meeting in Annecy, and was hoping to travel to the South of France to visit the hilltop towns of the Luberon while I was there, a bucket list item for me. I was worried I couldn't afford it... until I found this hotel! Such a relief to find such a reasonable hotel, and it turned out to be great. Small yes, but very clean, hot water, the bed was soft enough, wifi was decent, the check-in folks almost all spoke English, it was great. And unlike others I didn't hear anyone else at night. It felt like a really good Motel 6 to me. Only downsides were the breakfast was pretty sparse, and you need a car service (or to rent a car yourself) to get to the hotel. I arrived by train, then used the Bolt app (essentially France's version of Uber) to hire a car to bring me to the hotel. I arrived around 10PM, but someone was still at the check in desk and spoke great English, too. Then I rented a car the next day. I did the hilltop towns of the Luberon one day, then the next day I did Pont du Gard, Saint-Paul asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (where Van Gogh stayed and painted The Starry Night), Arles, and Avignon itself. Thanks to Premiere Classe for helping my bucket list item be within reach financially! I had a fantastic trip!

When the hotel arrived, it was already at 2 o'clock in the middle of the night. I drove for the door and found it for a while. Then I finally went in. I just had a person out, and the staff on duty in the middle of the night came out, but I started to feel bad. The wind was very big. Later I found out. In fact, it is not bad, the room is spacious and comfortable, the bed is very comfortable to sleep, but I don’t know the wind in this area is very big, there are electric folding curtains (the aluminum alloy is very good, the wind is also shaded, other scenery is nothing, but the next day In the morning, the female front desk was very unfriendly. It was not good to borrow a vacuum cleaner. I felt that I was not very happy. I didn’t eat breakfast, I didn’t evaluate it, and the price was good.

L'accueil au téléphone pour la réservation (une dame) a été ”cordial” mais pas hyper chaleureux. Madame, le sourire s'entend au téléphone, n'hésitez pas à en faire usage, c'est gratuit ! Premièrement nous avons dû payer un supplément de 20€ sur notre Wonderbox (d'une valeur de 199,90€) pour les deux nuits, afin de bénéficier d'une chambre supérieure soi-disant plus grande. Honnêtement je ne vois pas comment cette chambre peut être plus petite ! Soit... Deuxièmement nous avions réservé une chambre PMR mais elle est beaucoup trop petite et il est évident qu'un fauteuil roulant ne passe pas partout ou alors très difficilement. Le réceptionniste (Willy) m'a dit que l'hôtel avait été contrôlé récemment et que les normes avaient été validées, or nous avons fait quelques mesures pour attester de nos impressions et il apparait qu'il n'en est rien ! Les normes ne sont pas là pour embêter les hôteliers, hein ! Gardez en tête messieurs dames que la vie d'un handicapé est un combat au quotidien, où rien n'est facile, où tous les gestes du quotidien sont une épreuve. Lorsqu'on paie pour une chambre adaptée, il est extrêmement frustrant une fois encore de devoir s'adapter à cette chambre !!! C'est inadmissible !! Comment on fait pour accéder au lit lorsqu'on a un fauteuil, alors que ce lit est cloisonné entre un mur et une armoire ?? (ou plutôt entre un radiateur et une armoire) La salle de bain doit être aux normes PMR, or : - Largeur de la porte moins de 80 cm au lieu des 90 cm règlementaires ! - Lavabo trop haut (sans parler de la vétusté du plan de travail où il manque le chant, ce qui m'a valu une coupure sur le rebord !) - Pas de tabouret dans la douche, on m'a dit de prendre la chaise du bureau ! - Receveur de douche beaucoup trop petit, la chaise tient à peine dedans, du coup on fout de l'eau partout ! (ah oui, parce qu'il n'y a pas de rideau non plus !) - Pas de barre de sécurité dans la douche ! - Le distributeur de savon du lavabo est beaucoup trop haut !! Comment on fait ? Ah bah on fait pas ! Enfin dernier point, nous avions la chambre au fond du couloir du RDC (N°11 je crois), celle ci donne sur la buanderie. Nous avons été dérangés tôt le matin par les allers et venues de la femme de ménage dans l'escalier de service métallique, où chacun de ses pas résonnait dans la chambre ; on ne la blâme pas la pauvre, elle fait son travail ; mais peut-être trouver une solution pour limiter ce désagrément. Allez, les points positifs quand même : - Mention spéciale pour le réceptionniste de nuit (Farid je crois) qui a été adorable et extrêmement serviable et professionnel en réglant notre problème. En effet, lors de notre première nuit, nous avons été réveillés à plusieurs reprise par ce que nous pensions être une alarme, sans savoir d'où elle provenait. Farid a su trouver l'origine et il s'est avéré qu'il s'agissait de l'alarme de l'occupant de la chambre mitoyenne à la nôtre qui ne l'entendait pas, donc celle-ci sonnait encore et encore ! Farid

Beaucoup de choses négatifs. A l arrivé on vos fait payer 2 fois le chien 🐕 ao départ la personne qui gère les petits déjeuner dois aussi faire les factures en 3 exemplaires et vous réclame 4 petits déjeuner,2 taxes de séjour et 2 taxes pour 2 🐕, alors que j en ai qu un.quel temps de perdu5 personnes à attendre leur factures alors qu'il serait plus judicieux de faire la facture à l arrivé et de déposer la carte dans une boîte à lettres.prenez exemple sur d autres hôtels. Hôtels vieux seul point positif le grand lit et le matelas .concernant les petits déjeuner,c était le bordel le dimanche matin plus de jus d Orange, pas un cubi de jus d'orange d avance, manque croissant, plateaux charcuterie, beurre tre très dur,yaourt glacé, et très difficile d accès au buffet quand ya du monde. Forcément la personne ne peut pas être au buffet et à la facturation. Il serait aussi souhaitable d investir dans des chariots pour déposer les plateaux en fin de déjeuner bref que du négatif. C était la première fois que je venais chez vous, ça sera aussi la dernière. Très mauvais en tout.beaucoup de chose a apprendre..et 1 étoiles aurait été emplement

we had several days in ibis avignion sud. the menager the personal: Elohiques, Maksim and all the stuff are extremly nice, even the kitchen, we are jewish religiouse ppl and they helped us without them our kids wouldn't have eat, the hotel is very clean! great sweeiming pool and good advisesfor trips, and they helped us book activities they are the best hotel!

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Avignon, the facilities are relatively new, the interior decoration is also good, the hotel has a swimming pool on the first floor, friends who like sports can choose, breakfast is standard, but dinner is very convenient, you don't have to go out of the hotel, the price Acceptable, the price is not cheap.

I booked and paid for a 10 night stay in a 1 bed apartment for 2 people here for my husband and I on the spur of moment. I then read the reviews on the hotel booking sites and was absolutely dreading it. The reviews I read were mostly negative and commenting on the lack of cleaning etc. I then decided to make the most of our holiday and decided I would take my own cleaning products and equipment and resigned myself to a few hours of cleaning. On our arrival, we were allocated an apartment on the ground floor approximately 20 steps away from the pool. On entering, we were both pleasantly surprised. The apartment was very spacious with a large bathroom with separate bath and shower and twin vanity sinks; large entrance hall; separate toilet; large living area with kitchen and dining area and a lounge area as well as a spacious bedroom and furnished outdoor terrace. There was a tv and air con unit in the lounge and bedroom. The kitchen was adequately equipped for 4 people. The only complaint really was that the floors hadn't been mopped properly for what appeared to be a consideeable period of time. However, having bought my mop, it took me around an hour to mop to my standard which meant I could happily walk around the apartment barefoot. The apartment was quite dated but more than adequate and in a good state of repair. We found the pool to have plenty of sunbeds whatever time of day we went and there were a few umbrellas, however we took our portable beach umbrella so it wasnt an issue for us. There was always plenty of car park spaces available but not always right next to our accommodation but this did not inconvenience us in any way. The residence is not really within walking distance to anywhere so a car is necessary if you want to get out and about. There are 3 large commercial areas about a 5 minute drive away with a variety of shops and restaurants. The residence is very quiet and with the added bonus of manual and electric shutters, any light can be totally blocked out and as such, we had the best 10 nights sleep in a long while. The staff we encountered were all pleasant and helpful, especially the man on reception who dealt with a wasp issue we had. All in all we had a lovely holiday and are looking to return next year albeit with a mop.
