Excellent for everything. Pkg, clean and quiet room, breakfast on the terrace ... really great! From a very complicated day a day, this stop has made us shaped! I advise you this small paradise corner in the heart of the village.

Premesso che non amo particolarmente gli alberghi che hanno la reception aperta solo a determinati orari ( qui ad esempio il pomeriggio apriva alle 17 e quindi ho dovuto ammattire un pochino per fare il check in in autonomia non trovando al volo il numero di prenotazione) , per il resto devo dire che per essere un 3 stelle è al di sotto delle aspettative. La camera è molto piccola così come il bagno che è un angolino dotato di doccia (il calcare padroneggia) ed il water. Il lavandino invece è in camera accanto al letto, scomodo oltre al fatto che solo 1 asciugamano a persona è stato fornito...assurdo! Nessun frigo, nessun asciugacapelli, nessun armadio ma solo 3 grucce dove appendere i vestiti. In breve, se stai guidando da 5 ore e devi assolutamente riposare per poi ripartire il giorno dopo, Ok...questa è la soluzione low cost più adatta, tra l'altro vicina all'autostrada. Se però devi alloggiare più di 1 giorno... no ! Scegli altrove. Concludo la recensione con alcune note positive: 1) colazione completa sebbene servita in un ambiente ristretto 2) letto bello comodo, che non guasta mai. 3) parcheggio gratuito all'interno.

We had a great time staying at Le Club Mougins, a family of 4 with 22 year old twin girls. We did not hire a car but found the local buses to be excellent and very cheap. We did, however, get one taxi up to the Old Village of Mougins as it is a very steep climb then walked down. We went to Cannes, Mouans Sartoux (from where you can get a train to Grasse or Antibes), Valbonne and Grasse by bus but beware that buses for the last two only take you to a bus station where you have to then get another bus to the town itself. Would recommend going to all those places. The apartment itself was really nice and it was a bonus being able to order croissants and baguettes to be delivered first thing in the morning. The reception staff were all very friendly and although they spoke English they let us practice our French on them! The pool itself was too cold when we went at the end of October but our weather, apart from one showery day, was just perfect with full sun and clear blue skies with temperatures of just over 20 degrees.

Stylish room and welcoming staff. Lots of space in the suite and luxuious bed. Room was a short walk through the village to the hotel lobby, terrace and pool. Pool was beautiful, plenty of comfortable sunbeds, but few umbrellas for shade (came away redder than the enourous crab scupture in the room). Staff were very frienldy and happy to order taxis and modify restaurant reservations - although definietly use Uber instead of the taxi service which was three times the price! Location is remote so a car hire would be more convenient as Mougins is extremely small with no shops in the village. Hotel is true to the photos and a lovely place to relax for a couple of days.

Hôtel très charmant, personnel agréable et accueillant. Nous a offert le surclassement pour notre nuit de noces. Petit déjeuner copieux. Suite propre et confortable. Possibilité d'accéder au spa. Proche accès autoroute. Merci infiniment.

Although rated as a 4-star hotel, and although the garden, pool area are pleasant but not exceptional, the rooms themselves are tired and bathrooms very dirty, buffet breakfast is uninspiring, most staff untrained/offhand, so we concur largely with the negative comments from previous guests (eg: MarionC, Empi, 195adrian, hkh219.....), some dating back several years, indicating management evidently does not care. The restaurant is often closed to residents unless previously booked, because of external functions, which is the last straw after a long drive. When we complained, we were fobbed off by assurances that updates/renovations were planned for the next winter/next year, but interestingly, the same comments had occurred year after year, so were manifestly untrue. Accordingly, we asked for a 15-20% discount to price levels corresponding more to a 2-star hotel. This was refused on the grounds that then ”all our other guests would want the same”(!) so we checked out early and found a better alternative nearby. I am also submitting this commentary & photos to the local tourist board/Chambre de Commerce with the suggestion that they revise the hotel rating downwards until the promised enhancements are actually implemented.
