Search Your Saint-Gervais-les-Bains Hotels

Booked in for a two-night stay in October. Everything about this hotel is perfect, the stunning location with alpine views, the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us, the stunning decor throughout, the amazing room, the spa, the bakery, the restaurant - it is all incredible. The attention to detail sets this hotel apart from other 5 star hotels. Staff waiting with umbrellas for us, the exquisite pastries delivered to our room (with a recipe should we want to attempt to recreate at home!), bottles of water in our car, I could go on. The room was classy, we had a view overlooking the mountains which was well worth it. The bathroom was lovely, like a mini spa area, and the automatic toilet was a revelation….!! The on-site bakery makes all the bread and pastries that are served at breakfast and throughout the day and they were excellent. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, we will treasure our stay forever and hope to return soon. Thank you to all the staff who were so kind and friendly and made our stay memorable.

My husband and I visited the hotel 48hours after France had reopened for tourists. We were given 5*treatment as the staff could not do enough for us. The food was superb and the bar area is very nice. The hotel bedrooms are relatively small and dated however all have ensuite bathrooms with lots of hot water. We were there for the skiing and hired our skis from the convenient and well equipped boot room. The staff are very professional and helpful. You do need to use the courtesy hotel minibus to get to the slopes but it is only a 10 minute ride and you pick it up immediately outside the hotel and they also bring you back. This hotel provides social Skiing which means one of staff will introduce you to the area.

I booked a superior room. Les photos sont fidèles à l'état actuel. Nous avons été charmé par l'atmosphère de l'hôtel qui a fait resurgir en nous des souvenirs d'enfance. La chambre était propre et rangée. Le lit est particulièrement confortable. We haven't found anything to re-repeat! The bathroom (separated by a door) was also impeccable. Small heart beat on the view from the balcony. With regard to the reception, we were very satisfied. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and the breakfast is probably one of the points I take: a room decorated in a quiet atmosphere, with managers available to serve us. Finally, for the parking, as the places around are blue, we only discharged on the edges of the hotel to go to a free parking 100m further and covered. The hotel is located in the heart of the city with practical access to many restaurants and shops.

Although we own an apartment in beautiful Saint Gervais, it is currently undergoing refurbishment, and so, on two occasions recently, once with friends and once with my husband (and Max the dog) we’ve chosen to stay at the lovely new Le Saint Gervais Hotel and Spa. Saint Gervais has several hotel options, but none with quite this luxury or quite so modern. Given its location so close to the start of the village (and close to the new télécabine from Le Fayet which has been announced), it is very well placed to capture tourists, and as it is open all year round, both in the summer and winter seasons. There is so much to like about the hotel. It is spotlessly clean; rooms have balconies overlooking the mountains and the town; and the staff are friendly and attentive. The barman Louison deserves a special mention here, showing genuine warmth, welcoming our dog to the hotel, and attempting cocktails “off menu”. The restaurant is not due to open until August this year and so, as others have mentioned, breakfast is currently being served in a function room somewhat devoid of atmosphere. Breakfast itself is ok. Nothing to particularly criticise, nor get excited about either. The vacuum flasks of coffee are awful however!! I hope that once the restaurant is complete that the breakfast offering improves with perhaps coffee, omelettes etc served to order too. Rooms are air conditioned (which was a blessing the weekend we stayed) with fast and efficient wifi throughout the hotel. The spa area is small, and I think the hotel really missed the opportunity for an outside jacuzzi. Aside from a small outdoor pool and some loungers, there isn’t much to report outside. Overall, we loved our time at the hotel, and will be sure to return for drinks, meals, or special occasions even once our own apartment is complete. Thanks everyone!!

Nice hotel in the main square at St Gervaise. Staff are very nice and rooms at the back are quiet (Rooms at the front are a bit noisy - traffic and a church opposite). Simple inexpensive breakfast. Nearby free public parking
