I absolutely would not recommend this hotel for anyone! We stayed at this hotel recently and were disgusted with the conditions! The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms grout was yellow and dirty with poo on the wall next to toilet. After a long travel and 44 degree heat when we checked in the hotel took 300 euros from our card, in their words to pay for ”damages”. I disputed this as I didn't agree with such a large amount being taken for a security deposit. They told me it would be refunded on check out and the receptionist was rude and did not care. This amount was not for charges to the room as when I checked out I had to pay for a coffee and taxes separate on top of the deposit! When we checked out they would not refund the money and I had to stand and argue with the rude reception staff for 30 minutes before they would refund in front of me. When we went to the room, the air con was broken and the thermostat to change the temperature was damaged with all the buttons broken out. If they are taking £300 for damages this should have been fixed and the room should not have been allowed to have people stay in it. When I complained they took about 3 hours to change our room and then instead of giving me the keys gave the keys to my son who had no idea what was happening so didn't tell me about it! I questioned them as to why they were giving the keys to a child and not an adult and they were rude and did not care. When we moved rooms the room was dirty too and there was an ant infestation. All night and the next morning we were killing ants and found them crawling over our clothes and belongings and then found ant powder all over the floor. clearing the hotel has an ant infestation that they already know about so we shouldn't have been put in that room and also I then had to keep my1 year old baby away from the dangerous chemicals! This is disgusting and the hotel should be removed from sale!!

The rooms are spacious and clean! The bedroom is comfortable, the nights are calm. The restaurant of the hotel is good, the dishes come from a traitor of Nantes. The reception and service is very pleasant. The people who took care of us were at listening and available to satisfy us every time.

My stay at the Quintessia hotel was a mild experience, mainly due to the reception and management of our reservation. Once we arrived, a receptionist, at the reception, took us a bank footprint of € 563, while we were supposed to pay only € 382 for our stay. After requesting explanations, she told us that a sum of €50 per day was added for possible purchases, without being specified before. In addition, it was not mentioned anywhere that this amount would be charged in addition to the €11 taxes announced, which made the situation even more disturbing. As regards breakfast, the same employee, who had already been badly informed about the charges, also gave us incorrect timetables, saying that the service was made between 7:00 and 8:00, while in fact, Breakfast is available from 7h to 10h. Fortunately, another receptionist later gave us the good timetables. As for the room, although the place is quiet and remote, I was disappointed to see a persistent smell of waste in the bathroom, a problem already mentioned in some opinions. The spa is a little high, the spa is really pleasant and relaxing, and the small bar is a real more. Only a small inconvenience, you need to pass through the host to access it, which is not very practical. In short, the hotel offers a peaceful environment and proper facilities, but several details, including the level of reception and smell in the room, are unwanted.
