Decent, donโt expect anything more from this hotel but defo better than the other chains! Shame that the tv is not a smart for Netflix if youโre staying a little longer.

We were doing a self driving trip around London and need to take flight in the early morning next day. This Ramada is my personal highly recommended hotel for anyone who is in the similar situation as us.
Check in was really smooth, which is self check right on the reception desk. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room is clean and I could get whatever I need.
The only one unsatisfied point was the strange smell, which I canโt tell where it came.

The first hotel I took my partner the first time she met me in the uk as it was close to the airport โฆ we went back a year later and I did the room up , cannot thank the staff enough there absolutely amazing here helped me get the same room number everything absolute gems

The location is a bit far from main road but the property is well situated. A clean building but the hot water didn't work in the bathroom (perhaps there needs to be some manual assistance in getting it operated that's if it works). My TV didn't work as there's a faulty connection. There should be some level of noise control in the building as you hear everyone speaking from within next doors.

Lovely little hotel very close to Stanstead Airport. It was being refurbished unfortunatley, so had some issues with wifi, but I was upgraded to a double room immediartely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was missing a small fridge and a toilet brush, which should be stadard in a four star establishment.

Great Lodge is close to the airport (58 mins walking or 14 mins by bus). I wanted a place in nature, and I was served : multiple public footpaths and hiking trail (see picture).
The room was clean, spacious and warm. Didn't have soap or conditioner as mentioned, but I didn't need them since I had mine.
Check-in and check-out were easy (a person was at the front desk).

Hotel is very close to the airport, but note that the hotel shuttle is 4 pounds (what happened to the days of this service being free? ๐ญ).
Staff was a bit of a mixed bag. I was checked in by a rather miserable person, but check-out was polite and friendly.
My room said a king bed, but I don't know if UK bed sizes are different, but it was more like a double. Room appeared clean, but I did find some hairs in the sheets that didn't belong to me and one of my pillows looked a little suspect.
Fine stay for just a night when you need to be near the airport. Vegan options available for meals, although I didn't eat at the hotel.
