Best Brockworth Hotels

Hotel is modern and clean. Rooms very spacious and comfortable quality bedding. Large bed. Shower and bathroom clean and modern. Nice touch with bottle water and hospitality tray. Breakfast was TERRIBLE. Food run out, waiting lengthy time for restock, tables dirty, poor selection of tea, milk (non dairy) and breads. Continental platter was ham and cheese- embarrassing! No eggs for 20 mins. Plates burning hot, sausages. Really cheap and didn’t even taste like sausage! Worst breakfast ever eaten in a hotel. Shame as the rest of hotel was good in every way.

Have stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door. On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again. Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

The bed marked on Ctrip is a 3-meter bed, but the actual bed in the room is about 1.5 meters, and the space is so small that the suitcase cannot be opened. I contacted Ctrip immediately, but Ctrip itself couldn't figure out whether the information provided by the hotel was wrong or the information they entered was wrong, and couldn't provide a quick solution. The only solution they could give was to change hotels for one night and then change back, and whether the cost of changing to a hotel was within their authority (the first consideration was not the inconvenience caused to consumers by their mistakes, but how much they would have to pay for it). Such issues are obviously issues that Ctrip should think about, but they have to throw them to consumers. It took a long time to toss and turn, which really affected our mood and experience! In the end, we negotiated with the hotel to get a slightly larger room, but it was far from the 3 meters marked by Ctrip! !

This was an excellent hotel. Service was great. From James in reception who welcomed us with professionalism and warmth & tips to visit, to the restaurant staff who were helpful and responsive. The chef was great - food was tasty and to a great standard. The housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating as well. We had an awesome and restful stay. Our dog enjoyed the bed and treats as well as walks in the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We will make tgis hotel an regular on our list.

Excellent stay. Clean room and great breakfast. Really good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely old fashioned hotel with helpful staff and great food options.

The hotel was absolutely amazing, loved the pool section as well, me and my partner had an amazing time, employees are really nice, hotel was clean and tidy, facilities were clean :) Highly recommend!
