Nos alojamos allí al estar situada en la carretera entre la isla Skye y Glencoe camino a Edimburgo. Hotel acogedor y con un bar muy agradable para tomar algo y cenar.
We stayed here following our wedding for a few nights. We had two nights booked and had big plans to head into Glasgow, out for lunch and dinner but once we arrived we knew we wouldn’t be leaving! When you arrive you are greeted at the door, your car swiftly taken by the valet, offered the most delicious Prosecco and given the warmest of greetings. Staff are knowledgeable about the hotel and give great insights of what to do during the stay. We were then taken to our room which was stunning! Indeed the whole hotel is magnificent. The decor is modern while keeping all traditional features. Our bedroom was spacious, with a beautiful lounge and large bathroom with the best bath I have ever been in! We were exhausted post wedding so had room service the first evening which arrived on a tray and included a brilliantly cooked steak and all the luxury of eating in the restaurant! The next day we had the most delicious breakfast which included a Bloody Mary station! We then opted to stay in the hotel playing with the outdoor games, then onto the billiards room! Our dinner and lunch in the hotel were also exquisite and the service was exceptional! We also had the pleasure of meeting Judi Murray who was utterly charming and incredibly friendly. We would definitely return!!!! Thank you Cromlix for making us feel so special and valued!!!

There are supermarkets and gas stations nearby, free parking, plenty of parking spaces, very convenient. Stirling Castle is very close, 10 minutes' drive. We arrived at Glasgow Airport early and arrived at the hotel at 11 o'clock, but we were not allowed to check in early, so we had to leave our luggage at the front desk first. We had been on a flight for more than ten hours and wanted to go to the hotel to take a good shower and take a nap before going out to play, but this hotel was unwilling to let us check in early.
The room is really beautifully designed. I like it very much. Due to the impact of bad weather, we can't go out. The restaurant downstairs can't open the door. The hotel staff and hotel management staff are very responsible and keep sending food to us. - I asked us what we needed help. I was very touched. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to buy us fried rice and fried noodles! The key is not to charge us a penny! Thanks again! Because my daughter came here to study at university, I would definitely stay here if I had the opportunity to come back!
Good hotel with great central location and easy access to lake and campus. Good transport links to city with bus. Could do with a face lift in places and perhaps an expansion of the breakfast offering.

This is a small boutique hotel classified as ‘rooms with restaurant’ and sited in a quiet conservation area that is probably one of the most affluent residential parts of Stirling. The hotel is constructed of local sandstone (in the Georgian style) and boasts large windows, high ceilings and other features you’d expect - clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rooms were warm, spacious and our sleep quality was excellent. In fact, all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful all the time we were there. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts as well as dinners in the attached restaurant. I liked the menu - where you could have a set meal at very reasonable prices if you wanted. Chef had prepared a very impressive lemon dessert designed for people with diabetes and I saw vegetarian and GF options listed as well. The wines were nicely selected too, and knowledgeable staff helped match with our courses very well. There were six parking spaces and behind the hotel and plenty of on street parking. Wi-Fi worked well for us in our rooms as well as the dining and drawing rooms downstairs. We did notice some dust at high level on the first day (I’m 189 cm in shoes so it’s easy for me to reach shower rails, door jambs and other dust traps), but this can be an issue with period houses and the team quickly fixed it. Our room was serviced daily and sparkling clean after that. Overall, the hotel offers a tranquil break in a superb location - convenient to the castle, golf course and other attractions along with great walks and views. Close to main shopping, cafes, and recommended local restaurants such as Hermann’s and The Indian Cottage. Well worth a stay and a meal if you are in the region!
Absolutely beautiful, would throughly recommend. We stayed for a quick last minute weekend getaway for our anniversary and we don’t have a single complaint for the whole stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a huge en-suite with lovely shower. Our room also had a couple of comfy armchairs with a view of the beautiful garden. The front of house staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also provided very cheerful and attentive service while we were sitting having a drink in the lounge. The breakfast was amazing - good quality food made to order. The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to the centre of town, and for us, lots of good hikes nearby in the local area as well. We also stayed for dinner and the food was great - we enjoyed absolutely everything. The chocolate fondant was a highlight for me but my husband said his crime brûlée was better! The price was good value too. Like I said, not a single complaint and we’d love to go back. Our special thanks to the front of house staff for such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and service.
