"We went to Seaham with the kids for the glass beach and this was cheap and really really clean which was very good plus the bedroom for us was ample. The food was just outstanding especially the ty restaurant X the kids loved it and the staff was friendly, helpful x thankyou ๐ฅฐ xx"

"Beautiful location, I attended a friend's birthday party best service was received at the buffet restaurant in the evening and again in the morning by a younger blonde eastern European woman, she went so out of her way to help me both times, I wish I had asked her name. The buffet breakfast had everything you could possibly want, well worth the $17 cost.. I booked the Coleman Suite and it was beyond amazing, but the basic rooms some of my friends had seemed overpriced.. I should have used to pool, sauna and other amenities but there was no time with the party, I would recommend staying for at least 2 days next time. Wonderful stay, just too short."

"The ancient castle has a long history. Walking into the ancient castle has the feeling of shaking hands with the ancients. It is a very real time travel of 200 years, especially in the dining hall. First, go back and forth in the passageway at the bottom of the ancient castle, bypassing the reflection of the blue light up to several meters deep The mouth of the deep well, and then through a corridor where the collections are displayed, enter the dining hall with dim candlelight and a strong sense of mystery. The small courtyard is quiet, the environment is superb, and the valley stream behind the house is an excellent choice for morning jogging. The walls of the main hall of the castle are covered with medieval oil paintings and European porcelain, showing the prosperity of the family. Here is the first choice for leisure travel and vacation."

"A great stay. Staff were lovely and super helpful. A problem with my room meant i had to switch, but staff addressed this as soon as possible. Pool was an added bonus as were the sauna and steam room. Will def stay there again when visiting Durham."
