The decor is refreshingly recent , not something you'd expect all the time at British airport hotels. It was the friendliest check-in experience in a long time. The room was impeccably clean and all the mod cons available . The only downer was the location, it is about 1.5 miles from the BHX airport and in order to get to the hotel you walk past a halting site on one side and a lorry staging post on the other. But hey , you can't have it all. Like with a person - it's what's within that counts.

Check in was quick and easy and we got a free complementary cocktail each as it was our first time staying at Moxy. Our room was brilliant with motion lighting under the bed and switches at the bed side for other soft lights. The view of the lake and fountain was great. Perfect location to the NEC Birmingham and across the lake you have lots of eateries. We would stay here again if ever going to the NEC.

Great hotel to stay in if you are traveling for work. Pool and jacuzzi is always a bonus. Great food in the Burgundy restaurant, but don't order Tiramusu (it's too creamy, no taste of coffee or alcohol - very bad)! Staff members are friendly, let us stay for an extra hour, which was nice.
