The best hotel in this area, bar none, but it can only be reached by car. The front desk is friendly and the restaurant service is quite satisfying.
Remember to make reservations for restaurants and swimming pools, otherwise you may not have a seat
A great New Year stay, thankyou John and your team for your usual excellent service and facilities.

Hotel location is good, walk to the port for a few minutes, have the necessary kitchen utensils, parking at the door. Two adults brought a child, the front desk said that the room was small, not suitable for three people to sleep, plus 15 pounds for a room with a sofa bed, the room is large, living very comfortable.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe couple at the hotel are courteous to their guests. The room is neat, clean and comfortable, and the sound insulation is good. Although it is thin, it is overall very good. The oil painting has a little bit of a Greek feel to it. The dining room where breakfast is served has some unique furnishings.
With such a price for breakfast, I think it is well worth staying. Full marks
BBelThe location is perfect if you don't want to be in Plymouth itself. We needed to be near Derriford and it was really easy to get to and find.
The hotel staff were really friendly and happy.
Rooms were huge and had plenty of space. Beds and Pillows were comfy.
The wallpaper is wearing a little and was starting to peel, but nothing major.
Really good value, considering it had breakfast included, and nicer than a PI.
Breakfast had plenty of choice and all very tasty, but plates weren't warmed which meant the food got cold very quickly as it wasn't particularly hot anyway. Coffee wasn't great.
Would definitely stay again if prices were competitive.
AAn KhEverything was great in the hotel. The room for three persons is equipped with a private bathroom and toilet. Towels, soap, kettle, dishes, tea, coffee - everything was in the room. The TV was in a convenient location for viewing from all beds. The location is very comfortable for visiting the old and modern city. The way to the sea took 5-7 minutes of slow walking. At breakfast we felt like a royal family, everything was delicious and satisfying. )) We will definitely return.
GGuest UserExcellent clean hotel staff brilliant thought it was a great hotel very modern just would have liked a shelf and some drawers or a cupboard no where to put anything would still stay again though and the breakfast was exellent
GGuest UserReally spacious room, well equipped and spotless. All the staff were really warm, welcoming and professional. Great location and super value. Great sleep in gigantic comfy bed followed by excellent breakfast. Well done Duke of Cornwall Hotel, thanks for a lovely stay.
GGuest UserSecure underground parking.
Located at the ‘top’ of the city’s pedestrian avenue All local shops, restaurants, railway station within easy walking distance.
Hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities tea, coffee, hair dryer, ironing board, TV, telephone, combination safe for valuables and good seating. USB ports and power points.
House keeping is very efficient both for rooms and the hotel services are excellent
The restaurant offers a wide and varied menu for all meals Pricing is competitive and quality is high
SSimonThe service was very good very polite staff we used the swimming , sauna and loved it very easy just sign in and enjoy for as long as you like. The food was superb. Will definitely be going there again and I will be spreading the word .
GGuest UserHotel was clean and bright. Welcoming and friendly staff.. Had 3 lifts which were efficient too. Never had to wait long .Room was also bright and clean. Lamps on every wall as well as main light. Fairly spacious with a comfy bed. Had ok storage for clothes. Shower room was clean. Breakfast was optional and had a good selection: cereals, continental breads, cheese and meats, as well as traditional English breakfast. Although on personal preference there were no mushrooms or black pudding. Which I like on mine.
Fruit and yogurts were available too. Good selection of fruit juices and teas. Selection of coffees available too.
Good all round experience generally. Shame about the car park though as it was dirty and uninviting. Lighting not good either. Had to walk to outside to get to it. Which isn't great when carrying your belongings in the rain. (Which we had too) Apparently tho the hotel doesn't own it but is used by their residents. It wasn't included in the price so made the cost of staying a little more expensive. On the whole it is somewhere I would use again.
NNeilJThe hotel's location was excellent, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great stay!
GGuest UserThis hotel is well located in the city centre and the rooms are spacious and bright. However, the reception will ask for bank card information including PIN, although they promise to delete the information after check out, I still feel incomprehensible because I have never been asked to provide my bank card PIN when checking in to a hotel.
The average price for hotels in Plymouth is AED 667 on weekdays, and AED 754 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
