Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. Throughout our 2-night stay the team within reception, spa and restaurant were helpful, friendly and attentive. The overall hotel decor is modern including the bedrooms, restaurant, bar and spa areas. All were kept tidy and clean. However the areas I feel need improving is within the restaurant and spa areas. At dinner, we found the service to be quite slow and found ourselves waiting for a long time for our orders to be taken. At breakfast we felt the team could have been better coordinated when seating guests as we were either given a table that had already been given to another guest (that we didn't realise as the guests had gone to the buffet and the table looked empty), and then again when we went to the buffet we came back to our table being seated by other guests so we just had to find another empty table ourselves. Maybe it might help to have signals so other waiters know when a table is taken. Also, when being seated, we found out that the hotel offer a breakfast menu that you can have made to order foods, as well as buffet. We only found this out through a passing comment another table made and towards the end of our stay so we only got to make use of the ”made to order” breakfast food on our last day. In the spa, the treatment we had was great and relaxing. The two therapists we had were friendly and made us feel comfortable. The pool area was busy most of the time which meant we couldn't always swim properly or make full use of the sauna and steam rooms. Also it meant that the ladies changing area was always busy and given that the changing area is small, I found myself hanging about to wait until it was free-ish to change comfortably. An area to improve the female changing areas is to have changing cubicles for those who might not feel comfortable in changing in the main changing area.
The hotel was very nice. The room was huge by UK standards and very clean. The bathroom had a bath and a shower, both of which were ample for my height (5’10). The girl at the reception was very polite and helpful as was the service at breakfast. The breakfast was good, options for both cold and hot. Would certainly stay again.
Location is near open park areas, I did walk from the station and it was certainly doable (took about 20 minutes) if not super-convenient.
Would stay again.
I booked here for one night as was on site 20 mins down the road. I found the room to be basic, but everything I needed. I booked the En Suite Double Room as I didn't want to share a bathroom and didn't want to sleep on a single bed. It came with a little flat screen tv, a desk, a bed and 2 side drawers along with a little storage to hang up clothes and put the suitcase. The tap was missing the top cover for the cold tap, but it worked fine as did the hot water. I also found the room to be clean and the staff to be friendly. I paid extra to have the breakfast which came as 5 different options (I had the poached egg, sausage, bacon and mushrooms and 2 slices of toast) which was fine and couldn't complain. I feel like people are expecting the ritz accomodation for a low price? I knew what I was booking when I booked at £70, it did it's job and had no issues

A very pretty hotel in a lovely location We found the hotel to be a little over priced. We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast deal with the hotel. The restaurant was full- always a good sign and the service excellent. Our meal was very nice. Our room although booking a higher grade room was quite basic but this was probably due to the historical age of the hotel. A Tudor inn I think. The shower was spacious and very modern I ordered the full English breakfast and it was completely over cooked, I couldn’t cut the bacon ! I did mention this to the manager on checkout who although apologetic never offered a refund. A service charge was added without any written or verbal notice. Don’t think we will return !
We booked a single night's stay at this hotel to visit family in Maidenhead. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a wonderful setting on the river. We were all made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, Ashley on reception was friendly and made us feel at home. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant but this was enjoyed by all, including my fussy children. We will stay again on our next family visit.
Really lovely, central hotel, set back from the main road. Quiet, spotlessly clean and the room was warm and cosy, with nice decor. Home away from home. Didn’t use hotel amenities, bar room service. From what I saw, it was of high standard. Would highly recommend a stay here.
Very nice clean hotel would definitely stay there again. It was also nice getting a free upgrade on the room. Witch had kettle, microwave, and fridge with a small freezer compartment. The room was like your own flat. Only down side to it was the shower was pretty crap. But you can put up with it for few nights.
Excellent time, warm clean large room nice looking and stylish bed comfy soft pillows, nice big shower all clean hot water large soft towels. Keller bar was easy to get to great food and the band was great with a really buzzing atmosphere the night club was good too easy music to dance to. Easy to get back to my room at the end of the night. There was a lady called Laura who was always checking the ladies and floors making sure everything was safe she even kept the loo rolls topped up! All the the staff were really friendly and it was such an enjoyable experience. The next morning I visited the spa which was really great with pool, steam and sauna etc plus gym area all Technogym equip. Then a full English breakfast there was a good selection of food all warm and tasty. The staff were well organised clean tables etc. Well worth the money for all types of groups and families staying I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you and see you again soon!
the second i checked in got a very warm welcome from Safia and Prachi which made me feel very happy and is clear that the staff care about their jobs, even though the staff where polite the food was undercooked on multiple occasions during my stay which had also made vomit, i personally think the managers should be more on top of food quality.
Excellent
