"Everything was great - fabulous location and breakfast, the staff was super pleasant and we had great views - the only thing I would change is the bed was a little hard - I know some people like that but was too hard for me!
Also - I’ve seen this comment before but you have to be able to walk up several flights of stairs with your luggage and you cannot Uber or taxi directly to the hotel - it’s about a 5 minute walk + the stairs from the nearest drop off. Absolutely worth it for the view and location but just a heads up if that’s a no for you or if you need wheelchair access!
In the photos are a view from the hotel balcony for breakfast and the hotel from the other side of the beach! Gorgeous!"

"The room decoration, bedding, bedding, hygiene, tea can be called a 5-star standard. The landlord is also super nice. Just checked in, I sent me the Google map location of the delicious and fun place in the old city. The location of the apartment is a few minutes walk from the wall of the pile gate (the main city gate of the old city). The only reminder is to climb the ladder to a far distance from the alley entrance. This should be a problem that will be encountered in the old city."

"Very nice hotel, good location, near the pier, take bus No. 6 at the entrance to the castle and it's only a few stops away, and it's only a few hundred meters to the nearby Lapad Commercial Center. The hotel reception is warm and polite, the room design is reasonable, clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and convenient, and the hotel also has its own paid parking lot, 10 euros per day."

"I booked a newly built hotel, and it was clean.
The location is a little far from the city's main tourist attractions,
but the ocean view is in front of the beach, so the view is great.
Is the high price due to the ocean view? The ocean view itself is beautiful, but the room is smaller than I thought, which is disappointing.
There is only a shower booth, no bathtub.
The general score of the room does not cover the high price,
but the ocean view from the window is great.
There are no advantages to the high price of the room,
and the overall service of the hotel is disappointing,
so I will not stay here again."

"Excellent breakfast for a three star hotel. Good water pressure, fairly quiet air conditioning. There is a small restaurant and cafe.
The beach area is all concrete, but nearby you can go to a rocky beach. There is a shower and a clay tennis court.
Quite a lot of people after lunch (access to the territory is free for everyone)
Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid 2 sunbeds and parasol -30€.
There are no questions about nature."

"Booked a sea view room, you can see part of the sea when you open the window, the environment is good, and the hotel chain has a beach and swimming pool where you can swim unlimitedly.
There is a Chinese restaurant 10 minutes away from the hotel. The owner is from Zhejiang. The food is very good and the price is not bad.
It is about 7-8 minutes away from the bus station, and the bus to the old town takes about 15 minutes.
The hotel breakfast is very simple and has not changed in 4 days. Maybe foreigners really have nothing to change."

Very complete and well-organized buffet breakfast but quite noisy given the number of rooms.

Rooms average and missing some facilities for a five star hotel - small swimming pool, very limited gym and no kettle in room. Staff friendly. SSeat 2AAlthough this hotel is situated quite some distance from the Old Town this is not a bad thing at all. Insect I very much appreciated being removed from the thick crowds and noise, and very much enjoyed the peace and tranquility and spectacular sea views from this wonderful resort. Definitely worth paying extra for a c facing room, for breathtaking panoramas day and night.
My room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, with ample space for everything although a luggage rack or designated space for luggage would enhance overall comfort greatly.
Staff were generally helpful and polite, with special mention to Matija the Restaurant Manager, who, despite handling large volumes of customers, remained unfailingly cheerful and energetic.
The breakfast buffet was very generous by European standards, whilst the dinner buffet selection was also more than adequate and quite good value at 35 Euros per person.
As mentioned in previous reviews, a bus connects the Babin Kuk area (where the Royal Ariston and her neighboring sister hotels, the Royal Princess, Royal Blue, Royal Palm and Neptun are situated) to the Old Town. If you purchase the 40 Euro Dubrovnik City pass, discovers one day worth of this bus travel plus access to the city walls and its museums.
Cannot recommend this resort highly enough and look forward to my return.

This hotel with small rooms, no ventilation and poorly maintained small balcony with uncared for bushes and shrubs blocking any excess or views was not something I expected when I booked the place.
Food variety and quantity extremely small at least in room service.
Please replace the word “ Palace” or just delete it.

GGuest UserAbsolutely a wonderful hotel all around. The buffet breakfast was extraordinary with so much to offer. What is exceptional about this property that I learned once we got there was how they have an Asian spa version of rooms in their spa. They have a salt room, steam room, igloo room, a turkish bath, indoor pool, warm pool, cold pool, rainforest shower ... we went to the pool and in the sea off the cliffs everyday and it was just wonderful. At night they had live entertainment. One of the best hotels in the wrold!

PPT8910 stars, I have never met such amazing hosts. The whole team is exceptionally good. Maria is such a gem, very kind, friendly and helpful. Greeted me with Croatia wine and some snacks. Amazing location close to the beach with a balcony to enjoy the view, and a few mins walk from the old town. The apartment was like a home not a hotel and I felt like I was visiting my family. Very homely apartment with all the amenities one finds at home. On top of that, my flight was delayed and they let me stay for 6 more hours, exceptional. I have stayed in so many hotels and Airbnb. None of them have ever done this sweet gesture. While leaving Maria gifted me with a Croatian chocolate box. I don't think anyone can find a better stay than this. Had a wonderful time, if I ever decide to visit Croatia - save me an apartment. Thank you so much to the whole team.

SSharon AmandaThis is a really nice budget hotel, located in Lapad, away from the hustle & bustle of the old town, and close to the beach. We had a large room with an extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and a terrace/balcony. I thought it was a great idea to have clothes drying racks on the balconies, perfect for your beach towels & swimsuits. We had the breakfast, and it was pretty much the same every day. But even for us vegans, we could get something nice to eat. And for people with no dietary restrictions, there is even more choice. Our shower was faulty, which we reported to staff on our first morning. As it was the weekend, they advised that it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately, but by Tuesday we had a brand new shower head (the shower was usable, just faulty - we didn't have to exist without a shower!) The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, and gave good tips about the beaches and surrounding area.
There is a bus stop directly across the street from the hotel, where you can catch Bus 6 to the old town. The buses are small and very busy (September) and the cost is 2.50 euro one way. We did also buy tickets in advance from the kiosk in the town, where they are a little cheaper (1.70). And I must admit, we walked to the old town on several occasions. 30 minute walk, but with beautiful views. The beaches close by are lovely. There is a great walking path along the coast, and at some spots you can walk down stone steps to small seating areas, where you can also jump into the ocean and swim. We did this instead of going to the pebble beaches and hiring sun loungers.
Overall, this was a really nice hotel, perfect for what we wanted. It is not high end, glam or luxurious, but it is comfortable, clean and friendly.

SSarahHad a great little trip to Dubrovnik with my Son, I wanted sun sand and sea and he wanted game of thrones so we picked this hotel. Right on the beach that offers water sports and close to bars and restaurants including a cool cave bar and only a fifteen min bus ride to the old town. Perfect for the best of both worlds. As you can see the room had an amazing view. Worthy to note, the music from the cave bar until about midnight could be heard from the room, along with the waves of the sea.

I am a seasoned traveler world wide and I have stayed in a lot of 3-4 star places but this one I would rate as a 1.5 star.
I was so disappointed in my room it looked like a run down storage room not like a nice comfortable room like the pictures display at all on the booking site.
There was no air-conditioner as stated in the amenities list, nor was there a TV as stated in the amenities list as both TV and Air-conditioner were not working there was an issue with the room door unlocking it .
Also the bedroom flooring was old and worn carpet that had stains and dried vomit on it.
There is no safe in the bedroom as stated.
There was an air cooler and pedestal fan in the room which only just made it bearable on a hot day and night.
There is no parking if you have a car . There are five flights of narrow stair to climb with luggage. If your on the top floor. There is not lift.
The room has a very much lowered wedge shape wall /ceiling that takes up a lot of room and you can injure your head if your not careful in the dark.
There is no concierge as stated in fact most of what has been stated as the amenities and parking is a big lie as they either don't exist or they don't work.
With what I paid I could gave gotten a better room for the same money somewhere.
The managerr never showed up so I could talk to them about the issues. From what I have read else where in reviews this accomodation is really bad and in my thoughts this place and the owner of this business need a good shake up or shut down as they really don't care about the clients. It just about ripping people off and taking money. I highly recommend not booking this place as it is really bad.
