It's a nice hotel. The reception at the front desk is warm. The facilities and equipment are clean and tidy. The various layouts and designs in the room are very good. It can be seen that the hotel owner has put great effort into the design and management of the hotel. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. This hotel The location is relatively remote and suitable for self-driving tours. It is a very good choice. I recommend it.

We were in hotel for 2 nights in August. Everything was very good. We had a superior room and room was big enough and very clean. Bed and the Pillow were really comfortable. The room facilities were exactly what someone needs in a short stay and air conditioner was very good. The staff were very polite and kind. The hotel has free outdoor parking. Hotel is a littel bit far from center and old town but You can reach the tram station in 10 minutes by walk and you should take a tram No.17 . The ticket was very cheap about Per person 70 or 80 cent. It takes about 20 minutes from the hotel to the city center by tram. Breakfast was good and we ate a dinner at hotel’s restaurant and it was really perfect as well. Overall, we had a good and relaxing time at the hotel. Thank you very much!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Honestly, we were not sure what to expect considering the relatively low price of the hotel. When we arrived, we were impressed from the first moment. We left the car in the free parking lot, checked in quickly and went to the enormous room with a bathroom the size of my childhood bedroom! The hotel is not located in the center of the city but the tram is right outside so getting to the center is easy. However, we were really just there to sleep during a stop on a long drive. To that end, the hotel was perfect. The beds were so comfortable, I slept better than I do at home (according to my smart watch). The shower had great pressure and although we didn't use it, the room had a jet tub. I noticed a few reviews with complaints about the breakfast. I don't know if they were at the same hotel. This was a super upscale breakfast that was so good, it shocked us. The hot and cold options were excellent. The variety was really impressive. Everything was fresh and delicious. We were actually sad to leave but we had to get on the road. We will absolutely stay here again when we are in Zagreb

We stayed with three people. The room was alright in itself, great tv and air conditioning, bathroom was a bit small but managable. The main problem I had is that our rooms entrance (including every other on the ground floor) was outside, so we had to leave the building to get to it. The placement itself is okay, a bit far away from the city. The food was good. Staff was extremely friendly, but the receptionist couldn't speak English very well. Would reccomend but ground floor rooms can be an inconvenience.

The hotel is particularly exquisite. No matter the facilities, services, dining, etc., it is very attentive and the details are very good! The decoration style of the room is very consistent with my aesthetic. I will recommend it to more friends! The hotel is located in Buda, Budapest. It is very convenient to the Fisherman's Bastion, the Royal Palace, and the Elizabeth Bridge. Next door is a large shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There is a park downstairs, and it is especially comfortable to walk in the morning and evening! Stayed for many days in a row!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Doma, our host Adel was very welcoming and informative and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Set close to the city and old town. Adel gave us some great ideas for restaurants which we enjoyed immensely. All major sites were within walking distance and we also enjoyed a few of the local bars and coffee shops which were also close by.

Small and sophisticated boutique hotel, across the street from the bus terminal, even if you drag the suitcase, it is not tiring for five minutes. Although all of them are more than a dozen rooms, the room is full of etro for shampooing. The breakfast is also unambiguous, the white tablecloths must be changed, the neat tableware and delicious food, the service staff with gloves is very professional.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was good. It was a flat 20 minute walk into town. We would describe this 2 bedroom apar**ent layout as quirky. One room had a glass wall so exterior light made it difficult to sleep. All rooms had locking doors except the shower room which had no door. The kettle which had a short lead, could only be plugged into the bathroom floor plug. Although quirky we enjoyed the stay. They gave good instructions on how to enter the apar**ent after late arrival and were accommodating when we took longer to pick up car than expected. None of the 3 tv’s worked but helpful staff got the main one working. Staff probably need to dial the room in to check that everything works.

Room was very clean and pretty, comfortable with armchair and place for luggage. Spotless bathroom, with nice towels and plenty of hangers. There was a refrigerator and blankets if you needed. Very peaceful, we could hear the birds singing all day and night. The large private parking was a relief in a city with huge parking problems. Close to the beautiful Park and City Zoo. Not far from Zagreb Old Town Center. A very nice surprise was the large, beautiful, very, very clean fully equipped common kitchen downstairs. The girls of the Reception were very kind and helpful, we thank them for that!

GGuest UserThe hostel is conveniently located with train station, bus station and the city center within walking distance. Although I arrived quite late in the evening, the hosts made sure there would still be someone there to welcome me. It is spotlessly clean. I had to share the bathroom with other guests, but never had to wait when I needed the bathroom. The nights were quiet. I talked to the host about the fact that the beds were sagging in the middle and was glad to hear that the mattresses are exchanged every year, so surely the issue will be resolved soon with the upcoming mattress change. There is no kitchen to prepare a meal, but there are tea and juices, plates, cutlery, a small fridge and oil, vinegar, pepper and salt.

IItripI'm not a frequent hostel-goer, but my stay here was less than impressive despite the high praise it often receives. The 11-person dorm felt cramped, featuring creaky wooden beds placed too closely together. The bedding and air quality left much to be desired. On the plus side, the facilities were decent and relatively clean, including a bar area that seemed underutilized both by guests and outsiders. Considering the £20 per night price tag, there are plenty of other options in Zagreb that offer a better value for the same cost

GGuest UserThis is a wonderful family owned hotel that we would absolutely stay at again (I believe it has been owned by the same family for almost 200 years). We stayed in the Elizabeta Room. Our room was spacious and clean. The room had a historic feel with the decor, but it was still modern and comfortable. There was a nice sitting area in the room with chairs, a couch, desk and coffee table. The bathroom was also spacious with a nice deep soaking tub. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and we had no difficulties communicating in English with them. Breakfast had a variety of options to fill us up to start the day. The hotel itself is beautiful with historic pictures and items throughout all of the common areas. Their family owned restaurant is right across the street which was delicious and convenient. One night we went to the front desk and asked if it was okay for us to get our dinner for carry-out. The man at the front desk gave us a menu, asked what we wanted, and then delivered the food to our room when it was ready which was a nice surprise. We had expected to go over and order for ourselves and carry it back ourselves so the extra customer service was really nice. Note that it's not in the historic center of Zagreb so you'll need to drive if that's where you'll be heading each day. We had a car so this wasn't a problem for us. It was only about a 5 minute drive. They had a parking lot for guests which was nice and convenient. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI recommend this hotel as it is very well placed to wander around Zagreb. It is clean, very good breakfast and the staff not just friendly but very helpful. When you have had a wonderful holiday it is always easy to write a good review but my review is based upon yes a lovely holiday but it had to be cut short by five days - I got quite ill and had to return to London. The response by staff could not have been better or more kind. Not only did they help me get organised to leave but they also waived the cost of the 5 days. They did not have to do this but chose to help and support me. So I cannot speak more highly of this Hotel and its staff. And thank them so very much for making this difficult time more manageable fr me. So this review in not simple about the physical attributes of this very well placed hotel but evolves from the leadership and priorities of the Hotel and staff to fundamentally serve its customers. LLukGreat surprise for us and very good value for money! Staff was super nice and helpful, took 5 mins to go through the map and recommended places to go. Room is compact but is everything you need - it looks so new and clean assuming it has just been renovated. Shower temperature was good for summer but might not be warm enough in winter if don’t turn on the heater. Very big desk if that’s useful for you. 15 mins walk from the train station and nearest shopping mall, and another 15 mins walk to reach city centre. Free parking in front of the hotel.

BBartek W. SowińskiBittersweet stay at Speeka. Bad weather first 2 days and few mayor sites still closed due to earthquake in 2020. Hostel is located at 3-lanes main street so prepare for the traffic almost 24/7. Windows are old so don't stop the noise. 1st two nights I slept in room number 9 and there were two other cranky beds making so much noise with every move made. Then I moved to nr 6 and it was much better.
Staying there you need to be also prepared for coffee, tea and hot water shortages. And those shabby walls make an impression that the owner doesn't want to invest too much in renovation. Good thing is that hostel is in walking distance from the old town and everything is actually very closed.
People are nice and helpful, thanks to the lady at the reception I managed to print a ticket for 2Cellos - without it I wouldn't enter cause they don't have scanners to read a ticket on smartphone screen. But the concert itself was also sad, maybe cause of those strings sound. I don't know what happened but most likely will visit Zagreb in a few years again and stay at some better place.

Crew was great, location great, there's a bar two mins from there. Also CBD bar was amazing.

GGuest User Liked · The location - center, 5 mins walking from the train station, everything else is also very near. Free lockers with the deposit. The beds very comfortable. The rooms have fans so people should not be complaining about rooms being too hot. There are vending machines in the hostel - it might be life saving in thee middle of the night - but they accept cash only. Disliked · Apart from the girl working in the morning no one smiles, they do their job, but still, when they looked at me I felt guilty of being there. Urinals in men toilet don't work, on any of the floors. there is a note saying that it's temporary but the note is so old that the color faded away - only one shower for the entire floor, can be problem. When it comes to Zagreb the price is great for the value, but comparing to other countries, it is very expensive, but accommodation in Croatia in general is of high price if you compare the ratio to food for instance.
