Bad location, 30-40 min walk to the downtown area (Malioboro). Drivers will ask for 40-50K, argue for 30K or less. They speak English at the front desk so asking for help was easy. The room was simple, no toothbrush, no shampoo, only two power outlets (bring adapters), but had TV, WIFI, and spacious. Swimming pool was nice, breakfast was very good (toast, fruits, rice, noodles, vegetables and chicken on some days).

Dusty bed sheets. A bit of dust. The floor is dusty and scary. The bathroom shower is slippery. There's already a ditch in the middle of the bathroom, which looks like it was made as a temporary solution because the floor is the same height so the shower water pools and it's hard for the water to get into the drain. The avur doesn't have a lid so it's scary to be afraid that something will escape from the avur hole, the hole is big and big. Small children's feet can fit into it. So just be careful if you bathe small children there, because the floor is slippery and there are gaping holes in the dirt. Scary. Plus because of the city center location. So if you want to find food, just walk.

This is my second stay at the Burza Hotel, the hotel is artistic, the rooms are quite spacious & comfortable, the hot water is quite joss.. Breakfast is so so, but the menu is quite complete 👍🏼

The staff here are so welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
ROOM:
- Beds and pillows are luxurious
- Shower pressure is strong
- Great variety of toiletries including a shaving kit
AMENITIES:
- Pool is great with a separate spa-like chilling area
- Snooker table that’s 15k rp a game.
- Gym is basic but sufficient with dumbbells up to 25kg
- Laundry service that does same day for 20k/ kg (outside in the driveway.
TRANSIT/ LOCATION:
- Easy to get a GRAB to and from the Tugu Train Station.
(Make sure you type in Alana Malioboro because there’s another Alana hotel 30 minutes in the other direction… speaking from experience here 😂🙈)
- Short and cheap GRAB to jl Malioboro, Keraton and other tourist sites.
- Walking distance to Jl Prawirotaman
- Lots of local food and bakeries close by.

SstevenrivanLynn Hotel by Horison is one of the best choices for you to stay in Yogyakarta. Not only are their facilities very good, but all of their staff have another level of hospitality. Starting from the GM, Mr Bambang Kusno, Mr. Adi, Mr. Eka, Chef Andri, Ms Monika and Ms Eva, all of them are very helpful and ready to help anytime. The room is very comfortable. The food is also delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel combines the modern ambiance and Javanese culture. This hotel often holds some cultural events involving all of their staff such as traditional dance, fashion show, costume party, etc.☺☺
