Stayed here for 3 nights. Didn't expect what was originally, uh, it turned out that the room was very nice, the cleanliness was very good. Food and drinks are still affordable. Anyway, I'm not disappointed.. Even outside the expats can be as good as the room.
The facilities, services, and hygiene are very well maintained.

Brief stay unfortunately as the hotel offers many creature comforts including large well appointed rooms and great dining. Reception very good service. Refreshing welcome drink was offered and accepted with pleasure.

We have been staying in this hotel for the last 17 days with the intention of extending our stay for another 5-6 days. However, there are some negative aspects of this hotel that we would like to highlight. Firstly, the business center has provided little support as they do not have glue or clear tape available. Secondly, we were charged 5,000 rupiah per page for printing, which is quite expensive, especially since we are long-term guests. Other hotels would usually offer complimentary printing for 5-6 pages for guests staying for a longer period. Thirdly, prayer mats are not provided in the room, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Lastly, even if you stay for a longer period, do not expect a complimentary upgrade as other hotels may offer. This is because you need to book directly with the hotel or take their annual paid membership to be eligible for such perks. Therefore, if you are a longer staying guest visiting for business, we do not recommend this hotel, even though it is located in the city center.

The hotel is located in the city center, you walk out of the hotel and cross that road, you will find many restaurants, taste good, but not true. Almost all food will use pork. The hotel's fitness center is very good and the environment is very clean.

GGuest UserReally good hotel! If you have experienced ‘4 star international luxury/business hotels’ in provincial Indonesian cities you are in for a very pleasant surprise here. All staff I encountered were pleasing and helpful. The general features of the hotel are good, although when there is a band in the large reception level bar it is rather noisy in the rest of the lobby area. Reception efficiently arranged cars for me on several occasions. The reception staff can understand simple English and as a non-Indonesian speaker I had no problem with any requests. The Cinimon restaurant served me a very tasty and interesting nasi goreng with chicken sate. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of dishes - the fried, the spicy, omelettes, noodle and rice dishes, salads and various pastries including freshly made pancakes and waffles. There could be a wider selection of fruits, just three with only two one morning. However, an impressive breakfast offering. Room was a standard type with a shower in the bathroom. All things worked, shower good. Two large towels but no small ones. Bed comfy. Air conditioning effective. I stayed twice; first had city view and the second an small internal courtyard. The only obtrusive noise was a 4.00am called to prayer but that’s inescapable in many Indonesian cities. I heard this over two nights in the city view room but nothing in the other room I stayed in. I would happily here again.

GGuest UserThe reception is very friendly, prompt, and helpful. The hotel rooms were tidy and clean. The restaurant served tasty and simple traditional items for breakfast which was an attraction to travelers to try local foods. The hotel's spa service was commendable. The location of Transera hotel is close to the town center and other entertainment shopping outlets that give residents choices for activities. Thanks to Ani at the reception who helped us with information that made our onward travel much easier. We would recommend Hotel Transcera to those who are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the town center.

GGuest UserI booked 3 rooms for 8 nights due to a family emergency and didn't even stay for a night there. For some reasons, the rooms that I booked had poor lightings. The rooms were also located on the same floor as the bar & cafe so it was terribly noisy. The toilets also oozed unpleasant odours and looked like it could use some hard scrubbing. At the rate the room was offered (IDR 360.000++), I would have tolerated the room condition. However, after driving out to buy some dinner, I came back to a very packed parking lot. The security team were nowhere to be found at first and didn't offer any assistance afterwards. They were also very rude when I asked for their help to find me an alternative parking spots as I was a guest and had paid to stay there. That was the last straw for me. I then decided to check out of the hotel that same night. The receptionist was also very, very rude and not helpful at all during the entire check out process. Would I recommend the room to anyone? Yes if you are only staying for a short period of time and want the ease of finding food nearby. But if you are staying for an extended period of time like I planned to, it'd be best to find a more proper, clean, and comfortable accommodation.

AAnandaBaniI choose this hotel for a bathtube. I never expected the very unpleasant and offensive experience from Merpati Hotel Pontianak. I stay with them for two nights. They were not offering us an help to take our luggage to our room. Since there is no elevator and they put us in 3rd floor, I think it best to offer your guest some help. The room was dirty, the floor was cover by dust and the bed linen is full of spots also holes from cigarette ashes. The bathroom condition was not that far from the room itself. The sink leaking and the water was green. The breakfast had no many of choices, only rice, chicken something and fried noodle. All the food was greasy. I don't took my second day breakfast and choosing order some nasi padang from outside. I cannot imagine how I survived. The unpleasant moment is not over yet. At the last night, we were so hungry and want to order some food. No one picked up the phone like they were not put the right way the phone to avoid the call. So we call the reception to having information about the restaurant open hour, they said they didn't know anything about it. As I remember, the front office is just next of the restaurant and they work for the same hotel I guess. So they suggested us to go down and order by ourselves. I went to the front office to check for the second time that the restaurant still open and some old guy just putting his finger to the restaurant. That was rude number one. The rudeness is not over yet, some old lady with a green hijab and big glasses take my order. When I asked her about the Nasi Goreng Merpati, she only answer me as it is a fried rice. For godsake I know what it is. I asked for a tailored menu and she only shaken her head. I assume she cannot speaks Bahasa Indonesia. For your information they charged 30K IDR for greasy and tasteless fried rice. In the next day, someone from the front office called us and asked us to check out rudely and not offering to take our luggage down. I couldn't stand their rudeness anymore so I thrown away my key card to last night rude lady's face and hopping the hotel just close for business.
