Pillows were very flat and causes neck strain
Soap provided causes skin to be dry , doesn’t smell great, glides off skin during wash and the packaging of it was annoying as they are in the small little squeeze disposable bottle
Location was okay . Can take shuttle bus provided to hotel to Tunjungan.
But apart from those , the staff were really friendly and helpful .
New hotel, when I stayed maybe just a few weeks opening so for the facilities still good and new. Overall it is very good including service, but there are some things that need to be improved, especially for motorbike parking where the access is very steep and leaning and narrow road, which I think can harm guests. Then for the cleanliness of the room, the floor was so dirty that made me keep lifting slippers when in the room because I didn't get a sliper, for the bathroom also the water was bounced. but more plus for this price, because there is a balcony and the room is soundproofed too.

Strategic location near Tunjungan, the hotel is an old building, but comfortable, the rooms are a bit less tight, the hotel staff is friendly, yesterday I left something behind and the staff was quick to secure it. Thank you
Pros:
1. Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya offers a highly affordable stay in a prime location within Surabaya's city center, making it an economical choice for budget-minded travelers.
2. Despite undergoing renovations, the rooms maintain a comfortable ambiance, providing guests with a satisfactory level of comfort during their stay.
3. The hotel staff is notably friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall guest experience.
Cons:
1. A peculiar detail is the provision of only one pillow per bed, which may seem unusual as many hotels typically provide two pillows per bed. This might be a point of consideration for guests who prefer additional pillows for added comfort.
2. The bathroom conditions at Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya may not suit everyone. The absence of a mirror and the wet concept could be inconvenient for guests who prefer to keep the bathroom dry.
3. The washbasin lacking sanitation, allowing water to flow directly to the floor, may pose a cleanliness concern for some guests.
4. The absence of a telephone in the room might be a drawback for those who rely on traditional means of communication. However, the option to contact the reception via WhatsApp serves as an alternative.
In summary, Hotel Andita Syariah Surabaya provides a cost-effective option for individuals seeking affordability and a central location. While the peculiarities of one pillow per bed and certain bathroom conditions exist, the hotel remains suitable for those on a transit or short stay, given its economical pricing and convenient accessibility.
Stayed for weekend with family. Came early at around 10am and requested for early check in. Assisted by Mr. Okha for checking us in, and offered an upgrade to Executive room with a really friendly price and granted us the early check in too. What a deal! He also sincerely helped us with delivering our luggage to the room. Credits to him. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped (except for the non-cold mini fridge, like many other hotels). Room service waitress during dinner time was friendly too. Breakfast was typical, salad station could be improved. Hassle free check out. Thanks Santika!
Perfection doesn’t exist, and Artotel Surabaya is no exception. I booked their Studio 25 room for a one night stopover with my family. I had somewhat high expectations, especially for a 3-star hotel. But I forgot what it was - a 3 star hotel. It is just average, though by no means disappointing. I just didn’t find anything that was worth a glowing opinion about. I have no complaints about its facilities, but what struck me was the fact that there was no lock in the bathroom door. I didn’t understand why (and I didn’t bother asking).. maybe because it doubled as a mirror sliding door? I thought it was a clever use of space, until I found the lack of security in the bathroom. Another thing was the cleanliness. When I first came into the room after checking in, the floor felt dirty under my feet. Like it was last cleaned a day previously. I don’t know what the housekeeping procedures are like in hotels, but if you know a guest is coming in, surely you should ensure it’s spotless? I decided to ignore it because I was staying only one night, but if I had been planning to stay longer I would’ve asked them to sweep and mop the floor again. Thankfully I left on a high note, because of its breakfast. I had the traditional food and I think it was some of the best Indonesian food options I’ve had, for a hotel of the same class. Would I stay here again? Maybe not, but I wouldn’t mind trying their lunch or dinner menu, with the hope that it’s at least as good as their breakfast.
It was a good price for an executive suite room! There was a bathtub, large room & bed, sofa, desk, fridge, all for around IDR 600K for a night.
The lighting was so bright (which I like) because it had 2 windows and you could see the pretty sunset in the west side! Bed was comfy and pillow didn't smell at all. AC and fridge was cold enough.
But the amenities were too standard, we didn't even get a shower cap or hand soap at the sink. They only provided one for all ”soap-shampoo-conditioner” at the shower which was nice for the environment, and cotton buds.
The breakfast was so standard and they charged my son (this is the first time in any other hotel). Luckily it was for a small amount of money.
Overall it was a pleasant stay because my son and husband love having a bath at the bathtub (we don't have any in our house). Oh and the smart TV provides youtube and prime videos. Perfect for a weekend-getaway!
Me and my friends had an amazing stay here. The staff are very responsive and helped me fixed my suitcase. They also helped us install Netflix in our room. The room was great and we got the view of Surabaya as well. The only thing that they need to be improve is the lighting in the room cause it is a little bit dark for me.
Sheraton Surabaya is conveniently located right next to the 2nd largest shopping mall in Indonesia. So for travellers who are not keen to travel too far or trapped in the traffic, this would be the best choice for you!!
Was a tad disappointed that our sleep got disturbed by the renovation in the morning. Really hope the hotel management could pay more attention to that. Otherwise, a great hotel that we will return to again.

GGuest UserThis is our first time visit Surabaya. We stayed for 2 nights 2 rooms. Everything was smooth but one thing that i dispointed was the guy staff at restaurant when we had a breakfast last day. In the front restaurant he asked for room number which was very normal i told him 2 rooms my kids 2 infant 1 my niece 1 and i told him my husband will be here soon then i walked to find our table and prepare my kids meal suddenly he came again with same question he said their SOP 1 room for 2 adults he asked how old my older kids. It doesnt make sense cause he can see my older kid far from ADULT he just 8 years old. And i told him i came here with 3 adult, 2 kids, 1 infant so whats the problem ??? I took 2 rooms. He said sorry at the end but its ruin my morning mood :( But the food was great by the way..
DDear WAlthough Hotel 88 is in the budget hotel or 2 star rating, the facilities are equivalent to the 3 star. The room is not too narrow and comfortable. However, his breakfast varied in a 3 star class and is delicious. For ala carte the food is also delicious and the price is very affordable. The location of the hotel is also in the middle of Surabaya near Tunjungan Plaza. Recomended!
GGuest UserWe came at midnight for check in, after a long trip from Bandung, we were indeed tired, we booked two rooms and the check in process was really slow. We asked whether we could have a late check out for 2pm, the front desk staff answered that there would additional charge for that. He didn't look at my eyes while answering, instead he kept typing on the computer, not a nice gesture. We asked whether he could discuss it with the manager the next morning, arrogantly he answered, even though I talked to the manager, the answer will be the same 12 noon check out time. We bargain whether we could have a late check out at 13.00, he still insisted that it will be charged for additional. No sense of empathy at all... We went to the room, and we found out that all the wall near the window was really bad and moldy, that were in those two rooms. One the soap dispenser button was loosen, wifi connection was very slow and sometimes off. Nothing special on the breakfast. We saw many guests went in and out without wearing masker, and no staff or security officer were care to warn those guests! Better choose other hotel for next Surabaya visit!
IibrahimlilyThe location is near the mall & food stall.
Location is a little bit difficult to find ( me lost at the first time arrive).
Request for iron board but need to waiting others room use ( take turn)
Overall ok

HHBahar/Place is beautiful. Room is spacious but needs more cleaning to get rid off the white stains. Cheap and a great place to stay. Near to cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to mcd and malls.
