Stayed here in December. Mary is the consummate host. Very welcoming. Very clean room and a very good shower plenty of hot water. The guest rooms are in a separate part of the house with a small games room pool table and dart board. A small kitchenette where you can make tea or coffee. Mary shared some of her Christmas cake which was delicious. A nice little snack after a long drive. For breakfast we had yougurt, granola, and a warm fruit compote, warm croissants, homemade gooseberry and black currant jams and French pressed coffee. This was the perfect place to stop on our journey. We we made feel very welcome and would certainly stay here again. Social distancing and Covid 19 protocols were in place by the owner.

Hotel was lovely, room was very spacious and bathroom was newly refurbished, although the bath was a bit too high, making getting out of the shower a little awkward. Food, I didn't think was too good. While breakfast came on a large plate, and there was plenty to eat, if only it could be eaten. Bacon and sausage seemed like they had been cooked ages ago, and were tough and cold (having said that - I like my food piping hot). Entertainment was excellent - something for everyone. I would definitely go back. Lovely helpful staff too. Yes, we had a great time

I read a lot of the reviews for Myles Creek before booking and they were varied to say the least so I want to give a very honest review of my stay, which was with my wife for 3 nights in August 2023. First off this is not a modern franchise type hotel so if that's what you are looking for it's not for you. The building is an old building and while the rooms are certainly dated in style our room was spotless and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 3 options full Irish, scrambled eggs and toast or vegetarian, my wife doesn't like fried eggs so asked if she could have scrambled eggs with the full irish, the lovely lady who served us said this wasn't an option, seems odd but aside from that the full irish breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The bar down stairs is a really nice bar that has excellent food and again helpful and friendly staff. So all in all in terms of bang for your buck I highly recommend Myle's Creek and I most certainly will return, just manage your expectations if a big fancy hotel is what you are after, think more family run, wholesome no frills and you wont be disappointed.

The grounds, the location, the view, and the service were all excellent. Service was very attentive, from the front desk staff to the waitstaff in the restaurant. I needed a taxi to the Shannon airport, and the front desk staff made all the arrangements. (This was more complicated than it sounds due to needing a cab with a credit card reader.) The evening music in the bar/restaurant was fun, and the breakfast was very good, with lots of hot and cold options. I had a lovely view overlooking the river walk. My only complaint is that the room was very warm, and the windows opened only a crack. I realize air conditioning is rarely needed in Ireland, even in the summer, but either a fan or windows that open more would have been great.

We stayed overnight in the Radisson Blu Limerick after attending a wedding there recently. It’s a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our short visit with wonderful food, a spotless room and very friendly staff. I would like to mention Gabrielle who worked at our table during the wedding and who met us and showed us to our table next morning and took our breakfast order. She was so pleasant and helpful to us on each occasion we met her. We were sorry to have to leave without enjoying the hotels extra facilities, the pool and gym etc. We hope to get back soon for a private stay.

9934fredmGetting to Doonbeg was a little out of our way, but it was well worth it. The grounds and rooms of this property were amazing. The staff was friendly wherever we went - the restaurant, the bar, the golf shop, interacting with the maids - everyone was extremely nice. This property is also in a great location to make half-day trips to the Cliffs of Moher and other coastal towns.

The Templegate is a superb town centre hotel with great staff, fabulous food and spacious, well appointed rooms. Its success emanates from the local owners, whose values filter down to every part of the operation. The result is a real gem located in the heart of Ennis town. Food and drinks offerings are superb. It must be good. It’s the favourite for locals, too. Every staff member exudes a professional yet friendly ethos that emanates throughout the hotel, which stands on the site of a former convent. Its unique design evokes a still remembered past. Yet with all the modern facilities. Free parking is an added bonus for guests visiting the beautiful surrounding countryside, castles and historic sites dating back billions of years. We had a great time at the hotel Woodstock. Nice Irish Inn, beautiful setting and the food was some of the best we had in Ireland. Especially want to commend Oisin and Declan, friendly and funny and we looked forward seeing them Each time we visited the dinning room.

My only feedback is we got to the hotel at midnight and was hoping to get a beer but the bar was closed, as a Radisson you could offer a small range of drinks after midnight for late arrivers. I wouldn’t expect them to open the bar but could easily have 1 option of bottled beer and a wine.

GGuest UserHotel was lovely, room was very spacious and bathroom was newly refurbished, although the bath was a bit too high, making getting out of the shower a little awkward. Food, I didn't think was too good. While breakfast came on a large plate, and there was plenty to eat, if only it could be eaten. Bacon and sausage seemed like they had been cooked ages ago, and were tough and cold (having said that - I like my food piping hot). Entertainment was excellent - something for everyone. I would definitely go back. Lovely helpful staff too. Yes, we had a great time

I had a very pleasant stay at the Castle Oaks House Hotel and wanted to recommend this hotel for business travellers working in the Limerick area. Beautiful hotel, and all the staff are fantastic! I met Andrea at reception, and Josephine in the restaurant, and they could not have been more helpful, professional and welcoming. Top marks for the…. room, evening meal and leisure centre (which has been completed renovated recently). Looking forward to staying there again soon.

GGuest UserI read a lot of the reviews for Myles Creek before booking and they were varied to say the least so I want to give a very honest review of my stay, which was with my wife for 3 nights in August 2023. First off this is not a modern franchise type hotel so if that's what you are looking for it's not for you. The building is an old building and while the rooms are certainly dated in style our room was spotless and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 3 options full Irish, scrambled eggs and toast or vegetarian, my wife doesn't like fried eggs so asked if she could have scrambled eggs with the full irish, the lovely lady who served us said this wasn't an option, seems odd but aside from that the full irish breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The bar down stairs is a really nice bar that has excellent food and again helpful and friendly staff. So all in all in terms of bang for your buck I highly recommend Myle's Creek and I most certainly will return, just manage your expectations if a big fancy hotel is what you are after, think more family run, wholesome no frills and you wont be disappointed.
