The service staff was friendly and the accommodation was very good. The hotel also provides bathrobes and disposable slippers. Not too far from the Cork Center. Compared to the four-star hotel of the same price I stayed near Dublin Airport, all aspects are much better. Unfortunately, time is tight and there is no free pool and sauna to enjoy.
The best hotel in Cork, but unfortunately it is a bit far from the city center, more than 3 kilometers to the train station, and it is not very convenient to take the bus. The room area is not very large, and the room facilities are quite complete. The hotel service is very good, and it can respond quickly. When checking out, they also extended the room. The hotel breakfast is in the form of ordering and buffet, but the variety of buffet is very limited, but the taste of the order is very good.
Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.
The hotel is close to Cork city centre, with convenient transportation and a good local hotel. The interior is fully equipped and the service is very welcoming. It can also be accommodated 1-2 hours in advance. There are restaurants in the bar, but there are fewer varieties of breakfast.

GGuest UserThis is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and the location is central. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the daily list of things to do in the reception area. The restaurant didn’t stay open when I got there at 10pm but they helped me walk nearby to get a burger. Just be aware to get some food in town if this is the same situation you might be in!
GGuest UserThe Montenotee hotel is an experience of its own , fantastic views over the city , amazing interior design, delicious food and professional staff .. The glasshouse is superb with quality cocktails and surroundings. Highly recommend.
GGuest UserThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you). The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.
GGuest UserI am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home.
The employees were quite kind and helpful too.
Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into.
I will return for sure.
IIvy5I stayed in this hotel for 23 days this time and it felt very good! The hotel bed is so comfortable that I sleep so well that I don't want to get up. The overall environment is also great, especially the bar downstairs, which has a great atmosphere. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is also highly recommended. The choices are diverse, the quality is very good, and it is very satisfying. However, a small drawback is that there is no refrigerator in the room, which makes life a little inconvenient. In addition, the hotel's facilities and services are of a high standard, and the service staff are also very kind, making your stay very peaceful.
GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were nothing next to amazing, especially John (guest relations). Every hotel should have a John. Brilliant. Bar staff again brilliant. Food was amazing. And nothing was ever a problem. Hated checking out.

GGuest UserI got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.
Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.
GGuest UserIt was stunning scenery. The family room was great and nice and clean. Wow the breakfast was to die for. The staff were lovely and friendly. When I'm that way again I most definitely will book there
SSamRochestown Park Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. Check in was smooth as was checking out.
We used the leisure facilities and was given towels to use and the lockers were combination locks; so no need to have coins on you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We added breakfast when we arrived; which was €12.95 for continental breakfast or €17.50 for full Irish with continental included.
AAlison DaveyFabulous and friendly staff. A huge asset.
Above the ground floor the hotel was pretty grim.
So uncared for it feels grubby. See pictures of the room, view and the only plug socket in the room (to use the kettle the entire kettle tray needed to be balanced on a chair infront of it)
Room hot with no fan and the noise that went on until after 1am by screeching young adults (unchecked by staff) meant that opening a window wasn’t an option. Very expensive for a hotel room that should be in the £40 bracket not over £100
The average price for hotels in Cork is AED 743 on weekdays, and AED 817 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
