I had a wonderful experience staying at kristi guest house. 1) the property is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The designer has great taste, and the ambiance of both the rooms and the entire guest house is fantastic. 2) the service is excellent, with staff displaying a high level of politeness and professionalism. 3) the food quality is top-notch, and the prices are very affordable. 4) the location is ideal, situated almost in the center of sonajhuri hat and biswabharati. 5) shyambati market is just 350 meters away, making it very convenient.

The rooms are not very good. There are wires hanging out all over the room. Room is not cleaned on time. Repeatedly the staff had to be called to clean the room. If you call from the intercom, no one at the reception receives the phone. Staff use is not good.

Roshnai is a good place to stay for budget travelers. A small place with heritage looks but falls short when you actually visit. The rooms are good but can be improved in cleanliness. The garden with plenty of flowers (Dahlia) makes it very attractive on arrival.
The location is excellent as the Sonajhuri haat is just outside this place.
Folk music (Baul geeti) by professional singers held at night is really great. And the tribal dancers at the haat are excellent to see and women willing join them and enjoy.
Good for 1 to 2 days stay. but can't be called a Resort.
Food at the restaurant is good.
for going around for sightseeing one can avail the Totos available in the vicinity or the hotel can arrange.

Location of the property is good, nearby sonajhuri and viswa bharti university campus. However except the swimming pool there is no resort feature there. They are opening a cafe counter within the premises so hopefully the food menu will be improved. Amenities wise they are rigid in providing anything extra which is over and above what is already provided in the rooms which is frankly unexpected considering we paid 6k for the room per day. At the price we paid the resort is overpriced considering all aspects. It will be a good option if priced within 3. 5k. Food was okayish.

Pros : Room rates are reasonable
Have restaurant facility (Dine-in option both inside and outside restaurant)

Cons : Rooms are very close to each other and not soundproof
They called us everytime over phone for breakfast,lunch, dinner which is quite disturbing.
Resort is far from main bolpur town, it's good for them who have own car..
Price of breakfast items are quite high.
