People often miss visiting Chittorgarh even though it's just 2 hrs away from Udaipur. An ideal place to stay in Chittorgarh is Hotel Amrit Manthan. Situated next to a petrol pump, perfect for people like me who use a self drive car. We thoroughly loved our stay at Amrit Manthan. The room size was 3 times the size of Taj Lake Palace and washroom was fitted with all modern Jaquar fittings. Room was clean and staff was very responsive. Upon check-in, we were given a list of must-visit places in Chittorgarh & this became our plan for next 2 days. On my request, the hotel staff also arranged a government certified guide, one of the best guide I ever met. The food at the hotel's restaurant is yummy. Do try 'Nargisi Kofta', it's served with 3 different gravies...this dish is unique to Amrit Manthan, you won't find it anywhere else. Their chef has worked with several big hotel chains before joining Amrit Manthan 7 years back. This truly reflects in the restaurant's preparations. We were travelling with 2 small kids, all our special food needs like baby khichdi & spice less aloo paratha were well accommodated by the in-room dining team. I requested for an extra bed for my daughter, the staff prepared the bed with a cosy pink coloured princess themed blanket. My daughter loved it.

Best service good staff n realy very cooperative . Food quality extremely classy .spacious with good decoration n all function on diffrent n overall I like much was warmala very heartbreaking was realy best the concept of ayodya Ram janambhumi out satang no words for owner he make person very comfortable we feel as he is ourvfamily mamber

Property is at good location and very well constructed in large area however, maintenance needs improvement. 1. No geyser/warm water in room. 2. Rooms could have been more clean. 3. Hall had lot of flies (hygene issue) 4. Bedsheets and towels could have better. 5. Generator does not start automatically in case of power failure (which is frequent. If staying with kids, kindly consider the cleanliness and hygiene. On positive side : staffs were good and cooperative.

Very good place to stay and enjoy. Good rooms garden and very good pool. Staff is good and food is also good. Place is well maintained and spacious to enjoy the stay. Stay was comfortable and cost effective. City is not big and you can get Autos to have ride to fort. Overall god experience.

Lovely peaceful natural place. The lake is delightful and teeming with birdlife. Staff gentle and helpful. Good food too. And the tented accommodation is charming. A haven from the hustle and bustle of India. Certainly a highlight of our trip. Remember your binoculars.

We booked the hotel for a night and it was an average stay overall but they could definitely improve the service for the amount charged since the a/c wasn't working in the room and the room looked average. Usually there is a power cut and they don't switch on the generator. Also they can improve the quality of the breakfast. I guess one can find better hotels in the place at the same price.
