Pluses: 1. Great location a short walk from the village center. 2. Terrific vew of the sea from the small balcony. 3. Pleasant staff. 4. Quiet. 5. Clean. Minuses: 1. An awkwardly shaped room that made moving about difficult at times. There is one place in our room where it was impossible for two people to pass at the same time. 2. The bathroom was very small, and the shower is a joke. My wife and I are of average size, and neither one of us could take a shower without banging our elbows against the plastic doors. I could not bend down to wash my legs and feet. I finally opened one of the doors, getting the floor wet but at least getting a somewhat decent shower. 3. Our balcony was quite small. Just enough room for a couple of chairs and a very small table. 4. Other than the small balcony there are no outside areas of the hotel at which to sit, enjoy the view, and relax. There also is no sitting area inside. 5. The breakfast is pretty mediocre. The eating area, while adequate, is nothing to write home about. 6. Because we were taking some things from one home to another, our luggage was pretty heavy. There was no one to help with the luggage. I am in pretty good shape for a 70 year old, but it wasn't fun getting the suitcases up and down the fairly narrow stairwell with turns in it. Bait and Switch? We originally reserved a room at Hotel Belvedere and Tre Re, down at the Marina Grande. A few weeks before our trip, in contacting me with some information, hotel personnel mentioned something like ”as we previously told you, we moved you to the La Prora.” No reason was given. They had not told us previously. That was the first we heard of it. I responded that we had reserved the Belvedere because we liked the location and it sounded very pleasant, and that we wanted to keep our reservation there. The hotel then responded that the Belvedere had to close (no reason or dates of closure given), and we were assured that the La Prora provided all of the same amenities and qualities as the Belvedere. From reading reviews, that does not appear to be true. For one thing, the balconies at the Belvedere are described as being quite large and pleasant. We walked by the Belvedere. It looked like it could have been closed for quite a long time, and from before we made our reservation. I do not know if that is the case or not. I do know that after our stay at the La Prora I received an e-mail from the hotel requesting that I review the Belvedere.

Very, very good👍! Super cost-effective, the boss is super nice, and the service attitude is stellar. The room is very comfortable, clean and sanitary, and a welcome drink is provided! It's a pity to stay here for one night. I had the opportunity to stay for more nights! 🥹🥹

Absolutely everything about this place is fantastic. The staff were attentive and professional, our room was comfortable and spacious, the pool was excellent (and we always found sunloungers available), and the food was amazing. We ended up eating in the hotel 3 nights out of 6, as it was not only excellent, but fantastic value for money. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, so getting into and out of Sorrento town was easy enough. We were glad we hadn't stayed right in the town - this was just the right distance from it for us. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough.

Let's start with the fact that this is a hotel, and therefore has its own excellent restaurant with Italian dishes and good service. I immediately decided to have dinner there, because the views of the sea and Capri enchanted me. The portions were small, but everything was delicious. At Villa Pina, an Italian breakfast (everything in sufficient quantity on a separate table), which, nevertheless, stunned with its variety. These include strawberries, watermelon, pears and eggs, several cheeses and prosciutto salami, not to mention juice, croissants, jam, honey and pancakes. The hotel is located on the central road leading from Sorrento, has its own parking lot and a bus stop nearby. Here you will see not a typical classic hotel, but a villa in the countryside and feel the spirit of a real cozy Italian countryside. The entire first floor, where there is a lobby bar and a living room with armchairs and a TV, is decorated with all kinds of plates, bottles, ceramics, forged lamps, and old furniture. I would even like to stay another day to look at all these details and decorations of the villa, if not for the busy schedule of the onward journey. Everything is so homely, cozy, it is clear that this is a family business. On the roof there is a fantastic panoramic terrace with sunbeds, a jacuzzi and tables, with picturesque views of Capri. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and there were shower gels. In general, everything is fine, but the Internet did not work. From the balcony, it is pleasant to watch the sunset, look at the lemon terraces and all those well-kept groves of Massa Lubrense. My family and I were satisfied with the reception, service and time spent here.

I stayed a few days with family members. The Oasis of Peace is immersed in the green of citrus fruits, together with a wonderful garden treated by the most sympathetic and disposable sisters who made us feel like at home with their warm welcome, The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and at reasonable price. The terrace offers a wonderful view of the Naples Gulf, Vesuvio and Sorrentina Coast. As mentioned above, the structure is provided with beautiful gardens with angles available to children, garden, limon, and also farm animals, from the cattle to chickens and chickens and beautiful pavons. Breakfast is varied and all products are prepared by the nuns, such as cakes, crustaceans, sprinklers, browns, and fresh fruit marmelade. It is in a strategic location to visit the Amalfitana coast, thanks to the bus stop that is very close.
