Hotel located in a magnificent location to visit Genova walking, is just a few steps from the luxurious and unique historic centre, the ancient port of Renzo Piano, the characteristic cars, the largest aquarium in Europe, The staff is available and very friendly, breakfast is international and abundant even if it is of average quality. The only point is that the structure is a little more compact and with limited common space than the presentation on the website.

This hotel is past its prime. It was probably super swanky when it was built, and has stunning views over Genoas port and railway station - but it has not kept up to modern standards. The rooms feel outdated and old. However: the price is low, and for travellers arriving by train the hotel could not be better placed. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent aircondition, as well as good water pressure in the bathrooms. We stayed two nights in the middle of the heat wave and could not have asked for better sleep. Our only complaint would be that the night receptionist did not seem to like his guests very much. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget, travellers who would like to live close to Genoas narrow & non-gentrified alleyways, and trainspotters who will enjoy the views to all arriving trains!

A very nice hotel in Downtown Genoa. The place was clean, the morning breakfast was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great stay! The only thing that was unusual was the room key they gave us was a physical key on a giant weighted keychain. It was a little hard to stuff into the pocket of my pants. . . but we thought the hotel was great!

We stayed at HNN Luxary Suites in Genoa, Italy last night! It’s my first time in Italy and we checked in late after a long journey from Bologna Airport. Beautiful large room with simple & modern decor and beautiful windows that open up and overlook courtyard. It’s walking to distance to several fabulous restaurants where we dined at and had ours standing pasta & wine. It’s about a mile from the water or less. Would def stay here again!

The hotel is very clean and very clean and is very clean and very clean and is very large and unique. Breakfast buffet in hotels with separate price, this also essential but more than enough (peccato lack of fox). It is on Balbi road and therefore two steps from the FS station of Piazza Principe and the Antico Porto; therefore very suitable to visit the beauties of Genova view from the sea. The most wide range of port areas are easily reached: Aquarium (very well known throughout Europe), Galata (Museum of the Sea really to be lost for its particularities as models of perfect old ships and also naturally large ships that can be visited and a whole series of news that have the subject of the sea), the submarine Nazario Sauro, hang in the front mirror the Galata and visitable, the anchored and visitable Neptune gallon, a protagonist of the ”Pirates” film of Polanski, The ships that take on sea every day to visit the surroundings and also to see the Cetacei, which is a central point for the visit of Genova and its historic sea.

No elevators, so be ready to lift your suitcases and luggage. The rooms were spacious and neatly decorated to Italian design. Breakfast was very good though the lady looking after the room was probably in a bad mood and keep telling us that we need to do this or don't do that, instead of cordially telling the guests how it is done. Front desk staff was also very helpful and answered all our questions. Beautiful lobby space too.

This hotel looks fantastic on the website, but don't let that mislead you.  We arrived after a cruise and a long train ride; we were very much looking forward to staying in a ”Luxury Duplex” with some extra space and comfort for my family. This was far from the truth. After entering our room, the temperature inside the room was 26C. I immediately went to turn on the AC, which didn't work.  I immediately went to the front desk and let them know that the AC was not working at all.  He came to the room and pretended to set the AC, but only turned on the fan.  After sitting there sweating with my entire family for a while, we decided to open the huge window facing the VERY busy and noisy street. I played with the AC control panel only to find that the AC had been disabled completely and only the 'Heat' and 'Fan' options were available.  They do this at the maintenance level to conserve electricity. COMPLETELY unacceptable as the temperature in the unit was now 25C (with the window open) and a sweltering 29C in the upper level of the unit. I went back to the desk again to have the AC turned on.  I was told that because it was 'Winter', the use of AC was not allowed.  The Front Desk Agent was useless, Rude and not helpful at all.  I don't care if it's Winter, there is no way my family is going to be able to sleep in a sauna. I went back to the front desk only to be given more excuses; I asked to speak to the Property Manager, who was 'unavailable'.  We went out for dinner, leaving the window wide open in hope that it would cool the unit down.  Not the case again, due to the design of the room, there is no way to properly ventilate it without using the perfectly good AC system that is disabled because it's 'Winter'.  We tried to sleep with the window open, which was Incredibly noisy due to the heavy traffic and late night activity in the area.  We all tried to sleep with earplugs, but it was simply way to hot and loud. Horrible experience that was completely avoidable.  skip this place altogether...

Before you book this elegant hotel, I urge you to do a search with the word “RUDE.” I wish I had. Both the hotel and the city of Genoa were a big mistake for me, an older woman traveling solo. A few of many examples: When I arrived at the hotel, I immediately saw the gleaming bar and asked if they also served food. The bartender literally barked at me that he couldn’t hear me with my mask on! The night before I left it was a 20-minute struggle to add the one meal I had charged to my account. The next morning as I was literally seated in a cab, the woman at the desk ran out to ask me if I paid for my dinner. To top it off, I took home a giant bruise on my elbow, courtesy of a guest who slammed his luggage handle into my arm to save himself three seconds exiting an elevator. Rudeness breeds rudeness. This hotel definitely seems more attuned to business guests and does not want to be bothered at all with tourists. Unfortunately, the city had the same vibe. With the exception of the Hop On/Hop Off bus and the super-helpful multi-lingual Francesca, tourists seemed to irritate them. I have traveled extensively in Italy and this hotel and city, IMO, totally lack the warm hospitality and joy that I love about Italy.
