Do not let only a few tables occupied to dissuade you from dining here. One of the best meals of my weeks in Tuscany if you desire seafood. Francesco went out of his way to assist me. And, must say…Roberta the owner went and retrieved an umbrella for me as a summer storm unexpectedly come pouring down. It’s that type of love that is imparted into he dishes. As well a wonderful Vermentino to accompany the symphony of flavors and freshness.

Workers very nice but the hotel is poorly maintained and should close its doors: Not enough pillows in the room (had to call and ask for more). Bulb missing in entry way light fixture so cannot see into closet. Bulb burned out in lamp by side of the bed so cannot read at night. Toilet’s half flush does not work. Next morning, went to the lobby told the desk clerk that now the toilet does not flush at all – found this out around 3AM this morning. She said she will come up to the room soon (?) to look at it. She did. She fiddled. Toilet did not flush. We asked about getting a different room. She said she will have someone from Maintenance come up to take a look. We asked, “When?” She did not know. We said “Not good enough! We need to be able to use the toilet!” Finally she agreed to give us a different room. She left to go back to her post at the front desk. A short while later she returned with a key to a different room – the room at the far end of the the same corridor. We took the key and went into the room with our hostess. Found: Lamp by the bed did not work. She took the lamp and switched it out for one in another room. Entry light missing a bulb so it was dark at night when we need light for the closet. She went and took a bulb from another room. Layer of dust on the bed end tables and other surfaces. Safe in room was not working. She went back downstairs & got us a master key for the safe. No luggage rack provided. Only one counter – therefore only one suitcase accommodated and that was problematic for when the suitcase was opened, the top hit the tv screen off kilter. Had to slide the suitcase over a bit so not to damage the tv but then it teeters and has to be watched carefully. Table lamps in room have old and fraying shades – looks like someone’s hairs are stuck to them but that’s not the case. 3 of the hooks holding the window curtain up are hanging loose and it looks like the ceiling to floor curtain is about to fall as it holds on with its remaining hooks. Real classy joint! At 9:45PM, we decided we needed a strong drink after our myriad of rooms' encounters. We went down to the hotel bar whose main room was used for the morning breakfast buffet. It was closed. The hotel restaurant was not just closed and vacant but apparently for over a year, non-existent.

Ottimo compromesso per qualità e prezzo. Ho pernottato qua per due notti. Comodissimo per posizioni, vicino alla stazione e vicino al Laser Eye dove mi sono operato. I proprietari sono simpatici e danno ottimi consigli. Sotto l'hotel c'è una trattoria di cucina genuina locale a buon prezzo. Colazione buona e molto pulito. È un due stelle e non potete pretendere.

Da Daniele e la sua gentile consorte si trova sempre un accoglienza famigliare, serena e gentile. In una splendido palazzetto con giardino dove fare anche colazione, nel centro storico di Colle Alta il b&b è dotato di camere confortevoli in stile toscano, con il servizio di WI-FI e set di cortesia nei bagni. Confortevoli e morbidi asciugamani di spugna ti coccolano dopo la doccia e ogni camera è dotata di termosifone e di impianto di condizionamento e pompa di calore . Per chi viene in gita a Colle Val D’Elsa questo è un buen ritiro ed essendo in centro storico di Colle Vecchia vi sono tanti ristoranti e bar che si possono raggiungere a piedi in pochi minuti Il parcheggio carico scarico ( essendo centro storico) e’ davanti l’ingresso e poi vi sono più parcheggi disponibili a poche decine di metri Quindi tutto comodo e ottimamente organizzato dai titolari Poi la loro disponibilità è una stella in più rispetto alle 5 che ho dato perché ti fanno veramente sentire accolto e a casa, quello che si cerca in una vacanza

Ottimo hotel nel centro storico di Val d'Elsa, camera pulita, silenziosa con ottima vista sulla valle, unico neo la doccia un po' piccolina e da controllare, però niente di importante . Buonissimo colazione e ben fornita, carina la ragazza ricciolina sempre attenta ai clienti e tutto molto pulito. Per il parcheggio bisogna fare qualche scalino, è un compromesso che bisogna fare se si vuole stare in centro. Da consigliare, ottimo qualità prezzo
