GGuest UserOn this trip, I went to Atagawa in Shizuoka Prefecture♡On October 3rd, I stayed at ”Izu Hotel Resort & Spa”! After checking in at the 5th floor reception at the front desk of Atagawa Onsen, I immediately went to my room 💕 My room was Room No. 134 in the east building ♡ Room type I stayed in: Hot spring open-air deluxe terrace twin B1 Head towards the east building and open the room. I said, Wow, that's amazing💕💕 The room has an open atmosphere with a large bed and 2 sinks ♡ The bed area and the wash basin and hot spring area were separated by a door. I'm so happy to have an even bigger open-air bath in my room ❤️ You can see the beautiful sea from your room and terrace 💗 You can clearly see all the way to the Izu Islands 🎵 Nice view! ! What a beautiful view o(^o^)o I felt like I was in the sky and forgot the time ♡ The room, hot spring ♨️ and restaurant are like going to the lower floor ❤️ Drinks in the fridge are free too I did ♡ I was so happy about the freezing ❤️ I'm glad I was able to spend a relaxing time. The meal is a French course at the restaurant. All of the dishes were beautiful, elegant, and very delicious! Breakfast was served in a private room just like dinner! It was very elegant and delicious, and I was able to enjoy the sparkling wine in the morning. The meal was also great! A small premier resort where all rooms have ocean views and open-air baths 🎵 All 26 rooms are equipped with hot spring open-air baths, and it's wonderful to be able to bathe in the hot springs in your room ♨️ Furthermore, there is a large hot spring bath where you can enjoy a spectacular view while soaking in the hot springs. It is a fully equipped resort with ”ONSEN deep bath open-air bath” ♡

GGuest UserThis used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. But what if you want to go ”out to eat” at night, instead of paying between 10-20,000 yen for a meal? Good luck. Unless you have your own car (and I'd say about 90% of the customers

GGuest UserThe building itself is never new, but thanks to the master's care that seems to be the second generation, surrounded by nice furniture and tableware, including the cafe area in the lobby I spent two nights and three days. The location is the best, from the inn room on the high level, you can overlook the sea of Izu Oshima and Higashi Izu. The meal is never luxurious, but the ingredients were fresh, the ingredients were delicate and the warmth was felt, and I enjoyed it in the morning and evening. Thank you for the interval between tables and tables at this time. This was only lucky, but I monopolized the public bath as well as the open-air bath in the room several times! The Safour (sorry if you were wrong) always greeted me with a smile. When the petals of Kawazu cherry blossoms attached to the decoration of dinner were beautiful and brought back to the room, I was glad to say ”cute!” It seems that I saw the petals decorated in the room when I cleaned them, and I praised them the next day! I couldn't say hello at the end, and I'm sorry. The view of the sea of Izu, Kawazu cherry blossoms and atsukawa cherry blossoms from the foot bath was great, just outside the cafe. On the way back, I was very impressed by the fact that two women sat down and watched the view from the cafe, and the old mother and daughter were not very much spoken It was a wonderful memory.

GGuest UserThe person in charge of the trip was very kind and I have fond memories of my trip. It was a birthday celebration, and I was very happy to see how they livened up the occasion and showed their careful attention. Both dinner and breakfast were very voluminous and I was satisfied with both the presentation and the taste, although I think it varies depending on the plan. As for the hot springs, I thought that everyone from children to adults could take a dip in them with peace of mind because the temperature was right and the skin was in good condition after the bath. I was satisfied with everything about the room, hot springs, food, and customer service.

GGuest UserI stay here about 10 times a year for fishing trips. Accommodation costs have increased due to a decrease in the number of inns in the area, a recovery in the number of tourists, and a rise in commodity prices and utility costs. However, the price can still be said to be reasonable compared to surrounding hotels. The building and equipment are showing their age. The exterior walls were recently repainted. The food is sufficient in terms of price and quantity. The wonderful thing here is the open-air bath. The quality of the water is also good and recommended. Depending on the season, you can see wild squirrels running through the trees. Please note that the indoor bath cannot be used. There is an open-air bath near Nanataki, but I have never used it. There is also time rental. A comfortable accommodation with friendly staff.

Pros: This hotel's view is so incredible. We enjoyed the view from our room and the restaurant and each time took our breath away. The staff were very attentive and even gave small gifts to our children. The Japanese style rooms were lovely and the futon beds on the floor were very comfortable. The onsen was relaxing, well maintained and family friendly. Cons: We were a little disappointed to find all the pools drained during our stay. We were hoping the kids could enjoy the indoor pool but it was empty. Also the beach at the bottom of the hotel had quite a lot of rubbish on it. Plastic and rusted parts all over the rocky beach. It didn't seem safe for children. Maybe a beach best to look at from the hotel, but not visitors up close! We still loved our stay though.

GGuest UserI relaxed in a room where you can enjoy the ocean view. All rooms have ocean view. It was an inn where Izu Oshima could be seen in front of me. It was inconvenient that there was no towel hanger in the room (Wi-Fi was easily connected). The open-air bath was good in the large communal bath. Even if you take a bath, you can see the sea. The hot spring water smelled a little sulfur from the book. It is a hot spring of the private source. The cold water after the bath was lukewarm. I think it's a good idea to bring mineral water and put it in the refrigerator. The meal was a room meal. Except for pre-prepared and appetizers, they will bring you freshly prepared. Sake is reasonably priced at 300cc 750 yen for local sake in Izu. The contents of both dinner and breakfast were good, and we were able to relax at our own pace in the room. There are few inns for breakfast and room meals. By the way, Mr. Nakai in the room was not very pleasant for the first senior and the next person. I felt cold. However, Mr. Nakai, a non-Japanese who took care of me for the meal, felt very comfortable and relaxed. It was really good for this person at breakfast. I think the inn will decide how to feel about the inn by Nakai's response.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe staff was very nice from arrival to guidance. Stay for 1 night and 2 days at the 5F hot spring free-flowing open-air bath with a superb view Japanese modern ”Iki”. It has been renovated and the interior is perfect. The dinner was delicious, and the timing of serving the food was good and the explanation was polite. The baths are sufficient for both the room, the large public bath with a view, and the separate bath. As expected, I thought it was an inn that cost over 60,000 yen for two people... When I went to bed, there was a huge garbage near the outlet near the bedside! (When I was young, that black guy flew into my face and hit me, and I've been completely useless.) I tried to deal with him, but he disappeared. I stuck with it for over an hour, but I couldn't find it, so I gave up and went to bed, but I couldn't fall asleep. Pass through the bed and tatami mats as it is, climb up the roll curtain of the sash window and pause. It was after 3 o'clock in the middle of the night, but as expected, I contacted the front desk. A night watchman comes, but is handed insecticide. ”I (the customer) will exterminate it???” → ”Then, let's do it?” → ”Please (obviously!)” As expected, he couldn't kill him and the cockroach flew away... (my wife's scream), but I managed to crush him with a rolled up magazine... (madly absorbed). I didn't think it was the only one, so I couldn't sleep at all after all. (I didn't meet the second one) There was no contact from the inn even during normal business hours. Perhaps there was a message from the night watchman, but at breakfast and at the time of payment, some of the young staff members apologized (in the form) and folded a small amount of sweets after the payment. There was nothing from the inn's boss level, and I didn't feel any sincerity or gratitude, so I ended up leaving the young staff to deal with it... The details of the matter, thorough cleaning and disinfection, and a review of the response to the person in charge were written on the designated questionnaire form.

GGuest UserA hotel nestled in the mountains of Kawazu Town. When we arrived at the parking lot, the hotel staff greeted us. While receiving a welcome drink at check-in, we made reservations for the rental hot springs and Kawazu cherry blossom light-up transportation, and were then shown to our guest rooms. There are many stairs in the building and grounds, which may be difficult for both owners and dogs if they have weak legs. There are plenty of dog runs available, and our two dogs seemed very satisfied. Reservations cannot be made for the dock spa, so you will have to make use of it on a negotiable basis. The dogs seemed confused about their first hot spring experience, but they were able to clean themselves up in the bath after playing in the outdoor dog run. There are dog goods in the guest room as well. Our staff will drive you to the restaurant where you will see the Kawazu cherry blossoms illuminated and have dinner. The food at the restaurant was very well prepared and delicious. They lent me a pet cart for my dog. In addition, meals for your dog can be prepared and eaten together. The private open-air bath had a great sense of openness and the weather was perfect. It's a shame that there is only one washing area, but the time spent using it was 50 minutes, which was plenty. However, it was a shame that I couldn't take a bath in the indoor hot spring (Yuraku) because the temperature was too high and I couldn't adjust it. You can also have breakfast with your dogs. Yogurt for dogs was also available. There aren't many facilities that allow you to bring your dog with you, but at this hotel, being with your dog is treated as a normal thing. I think this is a hotel that will satisfy not only owners but also pets.

GGuest UserI have been to Matsuzaki Town in Nishiizu many times and came to see cherry blossoms. I have stayed at Kumomi Onsen several times, but this is my first time staying at Matsuzaki Onsen, and the inn is a large national dormitory. I often stay at the national lodging recently after starting a tour of the national lodging (something privilege with a stamp). The benefits of this inn were 500 yen discount per person. I arrived a little early, but I let me check in. The room is a perfect ocean pure and a Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats with a wide edge. I could see the Matsuzaki coast on the left. I saw people saping in the sea. The washroom was large and the room was comfortable. The bath on the 6th floor has hot water and lukewarm water in the large communal bath, which is fed directly from the source. There is also an open-air bath. Unfortunately, the open-air bath has a blindfold and the ocean view is not well seen, but the inner bath is ocean view. Although it was a national lodging, the wash area had all the amenities and there was a water cooler. Unfortunately, the dinner was disappointing. Although it was not a reasonable room rate of 14080 yen, I felt that the number of items was small and there was not much ingenuity. I can make steamed chicken crystal salad with only seaweed crystal and fried vegetable flakes on the salad chicken (and the amount is huge). It was also cold tomato udon, and it wasn't very delicious. I think the salted squid is locally produced, but this is the only small bowl of appetizers. Three very small vegetable tempura and boiled red fish that can be eaten in one or two bites are rice side dishes. The dessert was milk can. I think Matsuzaki Town has a fishing port and there is also seafood and mountain food, and I felt that local ingredients were not used very much. For some reason, there were many floor staff. It was bright and friendly. In addition, the liquor was reasonable from 1100 yen for 300cc of local sake, and this point was good. There is a sake called ”Kurafutonama”, and the maker is Hananomai in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, but it is processed by Monde Sake Brewery in Yamanashi. The aluminum bottle in Monde has a good design and is good for a little drink alone. The same was true for this petite bottle of sake. Breakfast was a buffet. There were a decent number of items such as scrambled eggs, bean horse mackerel, and miso soup with plenty of ingredients. There is also a chiffon cake of cherry blossom leaves in the dessert. Sakuraba cake in Matsuzaki Town, which accounts for 70% of Sakuraba production, is salted and sweet, and is delicious. Also, there was no yogurt for dessert, but there was a yogurt drink. I ate two cups of curry because it was delicious. I drank coffee slowly while looking at the sea. The town-run national lodging opened in 1931, and there was an explanation near the bathroom that it was 900 yen with half board at that time.
