I am very happy to book this traditional Japanese hotel full of warmth. The hotel is very retro and has a sense of historical precipitation. It feels warm and warm when you walk in. It is a very traditional Japanese hotel. Although the alms are a bit dated, the environment is clean and the service staff is enthusiastic. The hotel is conveniently located at the end of the commercial street of the old Karuizawa. The hotel has its own hot spring, but we do n’t have time to soak, but we used the bathrobes and socks in the hotel because we do n’t know how to wear them. After talking to the front desk, they also called an elderly service staff to help We wore a yukata and tied a beautiful bow. We also dressed beautifully to eat their kaiseki dishes, which tasted great, but the girls really enjoyed the set meal, especially wearing kimono and tied It's too tight. Sleeping at night is also very quiet, quiet in the middle of the night, anyway, you will choose to stay next time. In addition, the autumn of Karuizawa is really beautiful!
One of the hotels I don't want to teach a few of them. I renovated the place where it was the original 々 store and was in the hotel, but I had a good sense and stayed in New York well, but I feel like I remind you of that time. The size is sufficient and the amenities are substantial. The Japanese room I stayed in also has floor heating, so comfortable and so reasonable hotel is the first time. Usually stay in a foreign hotel chain, but it doesn't pull at all. The staff is also very friendly and polite. I would like to come again.
Stayed in Cottage Type A with two kids. There is the hotel van that will send you to your cottage from the hotel reception. You just have to let the staff know. They will also pick you up from the cottage if you want to go nearby places. The prince shopping outlet is a 5 min walk away. The ski school and slope are also within 5 min. The cottage is clean but there may be some creepy crawlers around (spiders). The bathroom is challenging to bathe in the winter because it is small and clothes may get wet. The toilet is separate though. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’d stay here again if I return next time.

We stayed with four people in a 2LDK room, which was very spacious. The facilities were new and very clean, and the room was well-cleaned, so we had a comfortable stay. One thing that was disappointing was that even though I had already paid in advance, they insisted that I pay on site, even when I showed them my card payment information. I paid once, but still thought something was wrong, so I inquired through the reservation site and received a refund. There may have been a lack of confirmation or some other mistake, but it would be horrifying to think that I would have paid double the amount without noticing. It was very disappointing because the room was so nice.
With stunning architecture by Shigeru Ban (who designed House 1 and 2), this stylish small hotel has interesting spaces filled with contemporary art. My family took 3 rooms in Villa A of House 2 which gave us a private kitchenette and small seating area, with access to a beautiful communal room and library. It's a couple of minutes' walk to House 1 with the gorgeous restaurant that merges the indoor with outdoor. The restaurant offers a good breakfast and a la carte lunches/dinners. We chose the omakase dinner one evening and it was creative and excellent. The staff members are fantastic - friendly and helpful, especially the knowledgeable and wonderful General Manager Ogihara-san who went out of his way to personally take us to the oldest ramen restaurant in Karuizawa and the volcano park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel recently added House 3 which is also stunning. There's quite a bit to do in the area - hikes, waterfall, onsen etc., so we are already planning our next trip. A great escape in the summer from the blazing heat of Tokyo, and I hear it's amazing in the snowy winter too.
The villa is in a very quiet villa group, and the air is very good. From Karuizawa Station, you can take the bus to Yukawa, and it takes less than 10 minutes to get off the bus. Or take the Nakakaruizawa one stop to Nakakaruizawa, and then walk for 17 minutes. This path is not recommended at night because it passes through an unlit alley and a cemetery. The hotel is almost entirely self-service, and you fold the mattresses and quilts yourself. Each room has a bathroom. When taking a bath, it is a public bathhouse. It is not possible for two people to wash together in the bathhouse. It is a bit crowded for three people. The hotel's nearest convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. The 711 here is open from 6 am to 11 pm. The Stone Church is 7 minutes away from the convenience store. The price/performance ratio is pretty good. Bicycles can be rented at the entrance of the hotel. Please confirm with the front desk for details.

GGuest UserIf you come here by car, and want to be close to nature in a quiet place, these small villas are the ideal place! The nearby 711 can buy everything you need for a short-term life. Our family spent two happy days here like a home!
GGuest UserHotel location is good, close to Zhongkaijingze Station, about five minutes walk! The owner smiles kindly, the family manages the store, has a feeling of home! We booked breakfast and dinner, the food quality is first class, the taste is excellent, every material is fresh and very delicious! For the store facilities are more general! But the overall is comfortable and hygienic, quiet and comfortable! Five-star praise! In addition, you can borrow bicycles, you can visit various attractions without any cost!
GGuest UserI stayed with my husband for two nights. We like this homestay very much. We can feel the careful management of the boss and the proprietress. The layout and atmosphere of the house are very warm and comfortable. It is European-style country style, very tasteful, and the room is very clean. It is worth mentioning that the kiln roast pizza breakfast, The boss's craftsmanship is good, every one is super delicious, it is basically a restaurant level! It is highly recommended to come to Karuizawa, and I look forward to seeing us again next time!
GGuest UserThe loft suite is warm and cozy, the boss is very kind, and the location is very quiet. The room is on the upper and lower floors. The split level makes the activity area larger. Sleeping upstairs is quieter and less likely to be disturbed by people downstairs.
AauntieadrieneWe stayed here for 2 nights straight from Narita. It was easy enough to navigate from the station with 2 big suitcases and 2 small children at night. It was relatively close to 2 convenience stores so we could easily stock up on supplies. We booked the family room but I was a bit disappointed that whilst there was a separate tatami area meant for the kids there was no bedding to speak of. Even pillows or blankets. So they squeezed in with us in the beds. Otherwise the room itself was nice and compact but not too cramped due to the additional tatami area. The bath tub was a nice touch and well enjoyed by the kids. The breakfast spread was small but delicious. There was a games time in the evenings where there was sometimes popcorn or other snacks and drinks available. The staff were very helpful and friendly with sightseeing options and bus schedules despite their limited English. We felt very welcomed here.
GGuest UserIt was a building that felt the age. It is difficult to say that there are many stains in carpets and cheeks, but the cleaning of the room, bath, dining room, parking lot, etc. was well done. The staff at the hotel felt good. It seems that the hot spring has a slight fragrance like a disinfectant and circulates. It was a weak alkaline spring, but there is no particular feeling of moisture. The open-air bath was not seasonally blurred and it was just good. There is a spring pool in front of the open-air bath, and you need to be careful not to enter it wrong, laugh. Dinner was just a good meal, such as eggplant, tonpouro, tenfura, and tezushi sushi, and it was a meal that was not fun and tired of the eyes. The dining room was quiet and slow, whether it was still influenced by corona self-restraint or there were many overnight guests. I think it is good to visit in the autumn leaves season. However, since the main road to the hotel is steep and steep, it may be severe if there is no chain, of course, in winter. There is no convenience store nearby, and there is a vending machine, but it is a hotel price of 150 yen for can coffee. If you come from the Nakagaruizawa area, there is one convenience store, so you can use it. Smoking in the room was OK though the whole building was non-smoking.
GGuest UserI will go to ski for one night in a hurry and make a reservation immediately. Stay in one room alone and 8500 yen Hotel and facilities, but if you think it is a general business hotel, it feels about 6500 yen, but I think it is a range that is convinced if you think about the location. Overall clean and clean. I tried to ask for a buffet breakfast at the time of local check-in, but when I arrived at the site, I was surprised by ”sold out”. Even if I looked at the breakfast venue the next morning, it was a little disappointing.
GGuest UserMy mum and I really enjoyed our time at Hotel Marroad Karuizawa. The rooms were the most spacious we had ever come across in Japan and we could both open our suitcases comfortably. They were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The service staff were very professional and helpful as well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet on one of our mornings there. Some of the drawbacks: the hotel is older in terms of style and design, although extremely well-maintained. Our room was on the floor above the lobby and there was no elevator, and there was no elevator or ramp from the hotel driveway to the lobby upstairs. The concierge was very kind to help us with our luggage, however. Overall, strongly recommended!
堇堇茉Although it is far from the station, it is very convenient to have someone to pick it up by car. In the morning, you will be booked with you to determine the time to go.
The only inconvenience is that there is no supper in my order. There are no convenience stores around.
Other play facilities and hot spring bath facilities are ok
The prices are also very clean. I also arranged a large room for me alone
I ate breakfast at the hotel in the morning and loved waking up in the forest early in the morning.
Reservations must be made in advance (Japanese and English)
Waiting for pick-up at the general parking lot at Nakaruizawa Station, there will be signs on the car
The average price for hotels in Karuizawa is AED 1,388 on weekdays, and AED 1,632 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
