I stayed at the mirage Bayside several times, so this time I stayed at the beach front newly established in 2024. There was a feeling of condominium in an overseas resort, and I was able to spend a clean and very cozy time. Excellent access to Shigira Beach just by going down the stairs. However, it may be convenient to stay at the Bayside for breakfast venues, pool size, hotel shops, etc.
Stayed for 1 night. It was safe because it was within walking distance from Miyako Airport and Sanei. There was an amenity service such as hair oil, coffee, tea and snacks at the reception facility. You can eat fresh popcorn. There is a kitchen, refrigerator, and microwave in the room, so there are no restaurants nearby, but I didn't have any problems. I was worried about the smell of the room from the air conditioner, so I opened the window on the way and ventilated for a while, and it improved. It's a relatively new building, and the cost performance is amazing.

Private Resort Hotel RENN is simply stunning. It is set in the south east of the island, a short distance from the best beaches, but far away from the big resort hotels that obscure the beauty of the environment. It offers a truly authentic experience of the island that is very rare to find when discovering a new place. Everything is of extremely high quality. The hotel is a striking design statement and the rooms are tastefully appointed. Each room has a lovely covered balcony with a sea view as well as an open roof terrace above the room with the same beautiful view. The roof terrace is the perfect place to watch the sun rise. The fittings are also of the highest quality with a large, stylish bathroom, including a shower from which the sky is visible. It feels like living in a luxurious private house, utterly peaceful and far removed from the usual signs of tourism. Guests should certainly book the breakfasts, which are fantastic. I had breakfasts on two days. On each day a completely different style of breakfast was served, traditional Japanese one day and continental the next. The food is locally sourced and each day included a variety of courses, including local fruit and spices. I felt treated to the best home cooking by a really knowledgeable cook. I can’t remember eating better breakfasts anywhere in the world in many years of travelling. The experience was completed by the owner, who was wonderfully helpful in supporting my stay. As a non Japanese speaker without a car, I might easily have found it difficult. But both before I arrived and during my stay, the owner, Renn, took the trouble to find out information for me and to support me to see parts of the island that wouldn’t have been possible without help. He was the perfect host and my trip was certainly richer for his local knowledge and recommendations of the best places to go. This is the best hotel I stayed in during my time in Japan by a distance. It is a very special place that I will not forget. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly authentic experience of the island in a beautiful and peaceful environment.
The first floor had a pine rental car, and the second floor was a guest room. It looks more like an apartment than a hotel, but it has a gas stove, washing machine, bathroom dryer, microwave oven, electric kettle, tableware, etc., so you can travel like living. There is a JA-Tarasu market nearby, so it is convenient to buy ingredients and souvenirs. The room is clean and comfortable. The view from the room is not good, but if you drive a little, you will be satisfied because it is an island with a superb view point everywhere.

Excellent
We were quite apprehensive prior to our stay here as the ratings were quite low and some scathing for a Hilton resort hotel that opened about a year ago. There were even some minor hiccups during check-in that confirmed our prior bias to the negative. However, all that changed rather quickly night after night. And to make a long story short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay there without hesitation if we were to return to the beautiful island of Miyakojima. In hind sight, I believe the hotel went through some early growing pains when they opened in June 2023. The island itself, much like other rural areas of Japan, is going through seismic demographic changes, leaving it with a shortage of local workers--most of their employees are either from the main island of Honshu or from overseas. After their initial launch, they seem to have made significant changes ironing out those early wrinkles. And this may always be a work in progress for any establishment for that matter: There were some issues we noticed with the lines for breakfast. Hilton Diamond members are able to make advanced breakfast reservations, whereas non-Diamond members are not thereby having to wait in line for breakfast that can be quite long. The issue here is that there is no separate line for the Diamond members, so when they go to the front to inform of their reservation, those waiting in line think they're cutting in (as they don't know what's going on and they're frustrated with the long lines to begin with) setting the stage for some potential 'fireworks' (angry customers) that actually happened during our stay. My suggestion to alleviate this would be--and I've seen this done at other Hiltons--to have 2 clearly delineated lines with signs: one for Diamond members with reservations, and the other for non-Diamond members. This way the staff doesn't have to keep explaining to the others waiting that some customers have reservations, and, the Diamond members won't feel bad going straight to the front ahead of the others waiting in long lines. Service at every function we experienced was great, we had no issue with the DIY bottling of drinking water, the swimming/walking at beach was fantastic, parking was abundant, and to top it off, we were blessed with favorable weather.
Very convenient because it is close to the airport. And beautiful! It is so close to the airport that you can see Miyako Airport from the window of the room. It is a convenient place to go sightseeing anywhere in the location. I stayed in a ”family room” with my family, but 2 It was like a bunk bed and the children were very excited. Lol The room was also very clean. There is also a pool outside, which is also available for children every day. Lol Certainly it's not a resort hotel along the beach, so you can't see the sea, but above all, the cospa is the best! Satisfaction 120% is this quality at this price. This hotel is recommended for active families who just sleep in the hotel for sightseeing and sea play during the day.
GGuest UserYou can see the lively harbor and Irabu Island from the room. The sunset is on the left, but unfortunately there is a Hilton Hotel (under construction) and you cannot worship the sunset. The room is quite small if it is not superior, there is only a 20 centimeter vacancy between the bed and the sofa, and there is no closet, so it feels like walking while hitting when you put a suitcase in the vacant part. It's a shame that the air conditioner was full of black mold and had a strange odor, and the bathroom smelled of sewage. When it rained, the corridor was flooded and left as it was. I expected breakfast because there was a picture of smoothies on the hotel image, but there was no such thing at all and it was like a cheap business hotel. I didn't provide hot water and I thought I wasn't thinking about anything because there was nothing but coffee. There was Japanese food, but the only thing that was delicious was miso soup and the rest was a bag-packed side dish. It was unusual for a hotel that did not serve Okinawa cuisine so far because it was served Japanese food. I think I wanted to give a Western-style fashionable feeling. For resort stay purposes, we do not recommend it except for rooms with high prices. Under Superior is small and you are at a loss in the luggage storage area. The location of the hotel was good because it was close to the downtown area about 15 minutes walk. However, the parking lot is full soon and the second parking lot is quite far away, so if you have heavy luggage, you should avoid going out from the evening.
GGuest UserWe stayed for 7 nights in early December. First of all, the front desk, restaurant, room cleaners, etc. were all well-educated and welcomed me comfortably, and I was able to spend a comfortable time. I asked for a box because I had to leave early in the morning for golf, but the chef's attention was wonderful and it was a very heartfelt breakfast. In addition, pasta which we ate in lounge was very delicious. Izakaya on the island is good, but I think dinner in the hotel lounge is also good. The location is also highly recommended.
GGuest UserThis was my second visit.
Last time, the breakfast was very delicious and I was able to do it.
i've been taking care of you this time, santa monica.
and also celebrated his birthday
It was a very nice memory, such as a very nice room, a birthday present and a photo service.
Breakfast was delicious.
It was a marathon day, so I was sorry I couldn't eat it calmly.
Every year, I'm looking forward to taking care of my favorite ones rental car, which is cheap, and snorkeling on the shore of Shinjo, and playing with the underwater aquarium 🐠 turtles. Every year, I'm taking care of you, Santa Monica, and I'm going to have a better service and a good meal.
I'll come back to play again.
It was very good

SSammyjake95The hotel is wonderful. It’s just a what you need when staying in Miyakojima. It’s not super fancy or anything, but has everything you could need for a stay there. The only issue is that they don’t come to clean your room or change sheets or anything. We were there 6 nights. It would have been nice for someone to come and sweep the floor or wipe down the surfaces once or twice.
JjohoooThe location was in a resort area, and they provided shuttle buses and personal transfers, the outdoor pool and jacuzzi were great, and the front desk service and breakfast were also good, but while I was in the room, I was surprised to find about three ants on the bed, about 7-8 dead flies on the sink, and some bugs I've never seen before walking on the floor, which was a big surprise for me as I don't like bugs very much. I understand that there are a lot of bugs in Okinawa, but it was difficult to fully relax in the room. If you don't mind bugs, I think it's fine!
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great! Located in the downtown area of Miyakojima, there are many restaurants nearby, and there is a family convenience store about 200 meters on foot, which is very convenient. The hotel offers a free taxi reservation service, and tourists who can make their own calls can make a taxi reservation call at the front desk. The hotel is very close to Sand Mountain, about 1,000 yen by taxi and 5-6 minutes away. The hotel rooms are large and have a washing machine. The washing machine is very user-friendly and is useful for tourists to clean the sand left on their clothes after the beach.
GGuest UserThe staff was very helpful.

The airport bus is in front of the hotel..
Many restaurants around.
The beach is a walking distance..
Also very nice Okinawan
