Best Nagiso Hotels

Our car was stuck outside of the hotel due to heavy snow, one of the hotel staff was extremely helpful to clear snow on the road and helped us drive the car back to the hotel, we were so grateful for his help otherwise we dunno how long would it take for us to make the car move again. He was so worry about us as there were also heavy snow on our departure day, he escorted us down to the mountain to make sure we are safe. All of the staff were so nice, food was fantastic! Probably one of the best hotel experience we have ever had. We reli enjoy the time there!

We only stayed at Hotel Kisoji for one night, for hiking between Magome and Tsumago on the Nakasendo trail. The Japanese-style room was very spacious and clean. My husband enjoyed the onsen after the hike. We also enjoyed the buffet dinner and breakfast, both offering a very good spread of tasty food. Location-wise, we had to take a taxi from Tsumago to the hotel as the bus service is not very regular and the road to the hotel is really not so safe for pedestrians, not to mention the incline uphill. We also took a taxi to the Nagiso station. Staff was helpful in calling the cab for us and the cab fares are quite reasonable. Overall, a good stay in a good hotel.

Hotel room is pretty decent, however there is only public toilet and bathroom. The microwave is not as clean as it should be. Ryokan is actually pretty far to walk from the station, and does not have convenience store or much restaurant nearby. However, it can be a pretty good pit-stop for backpackers/long distance trekkers to rest in. I will recommend people who is visiting this ryokan to either use the bus service(apparently there is a bus to and from the ryokan to the station), or to drive in. Prepare food in advance if you did not reserve an meal. Peaceful place to chill in tho :)

The name of the hotel written by Ctrip should be a transliteration of Japanese, and the actual name is Hua Gengsha. We took JR from Nagoya to Nakatsugawa, and then BUS to Magong. In fact, getting off here is very far from the hotel. It is only right to take the bus to Nakae, which is only 300 meters from the station. Unfamiliar when I went there, it took a long time to find it. It would be perfect if the hotel has a car to pick up and drop off at the station. Self-driving will be more convenient and there is parking in the hotel. When I arrived in Japan, I used Google map to check the route. The hotel rooms are very large, the five-person room is 30 square meters, the tatami beds have been laid in advance, and they sleep comfortably overnight, and the breakfast the next day is also good. Hotel guests can go to the large baths and open-air baths, and get up early in the morning to take a bus to Malangsu. It is important to look at the departure time in advance.

Very very very clean small hotel, the impression is so good, there is delicious coffee and bread, children can also play origami and some small toys, the activity area on the first floor is very warm feeling, highly recommended.

攜程要改一下名字，我真以為是一間榻榻米屋子，結果是一棟獨立日式木屋，情侶家人旅遊住着超完美，平成天皇還是皇太子時期也來這住過，在山裡麪非常親近自然，但一個人住晚上有些嚇人😟。食物超好吃，超越了我對日餐的期待。

Awesome stay, room is small but has everything, most importantly it was clean and comfortable. The common dining area is very cozy, with drinks and snacks. The free beer and supper are nice gesture. Location is also good, walking distance to shops, restaurants and convenient shops. Great base to explore nakasendo.

I used it at the training camp of the university circle! !! I was very satisfied with the barbecue! The facilities were interesting and we all explored it! !! I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!
