The Mupo Station and the old city center are walking distance. It was so good for families to stay. Once clean, the quilt is also rusty, and the air conditioning, bathroom and kitchen facilities are great. Above all, it was nice to have two double beds and a spacious room. I was sorry that there was no parking, but I want to come again next time I come to Mokpo.

It was clean and the location was good. It's nice that it's easy to find because it's on the main road, and when you park your car in the parking lot, you have to take care of the gaps between other cars. It's a parking lot on the side of the alley, but surprisingly there are a lot of cars.
There is Mokpo Station nearby, so all Mokpo travel destinations are close.
All in all, it's clean and the bathrooms are nice. Using a room with 3 beds, a family of 4, including 2 teenage sons, slept comfortably. You can also see the Yudal Mountain cable car from the room.
The unfortunate thing is that I was bitten by a lot of mosquitoes even though there is a mosquito fumigator in the room! ㅠㅠ
And even though the refrigerator is small, it's quite noisy, so it's not good for sensitive people.
The bed is on the hard side, so it seems to suit Koreans well, and the bedding is clean, but it rustles a lot.

It's located on a busy street, so you don't have to worry about eating. The junior suite was spacious and it was nice not to be stuffy. The facilities are clean and there is no crowd. Instead, it's not every day, but I met the wrong upper floor that day. From 5:30 a.m., the men on the upper floor talked so much that they could hear all the voices. The family who slept together got up at the same time. The thumping footsteps. Just sleep and fight again. Ha.... /// I met you wrong today ~
If I go again, I think I'll go again in terms of facilities.

GGuest UserAlthough my room was small, it had everything I needed and was quiet and clean. I was particularly happy with the shower - plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Moreover, the front desk and housekeeping were all very professional and helpful.
I chose the hotel because of its proximity to some of the places I wanted to visit and because it was close to the waterfront. I quite enjoyed my walks there mornings and evenings. It also turned out to be right across from Lotte Mart Maxx and within a 5-minute walk from both Daiso and Paris Baguette.
Breakfast was included in the extremely affordable price. It was not gourmet but perfectly adequately and filling. If I ever return to Mokpo, I will certainly consider staying at Hound Hotel.

GGuanhelaozhangIt was not the tourist season when I came, and the room was empty and large. Clean and quiet. Walk to the beach for a minute. Mupu is relatively small, and the hotel downstairs to the commercial place to eat is only a minute. The rooms with sea views are about 2 on the first floor. Most of them are blocked by high-rise buildings. If you want to see the sea view, be cautious.

GGuest UserI like the location being 10min away from the bus terminal. Also not far from from KTX station. I appreciated the electric blanket. The owner was kind to show me where and how use floor heating controls and for the electric blanket. Clean and neat room. Good for Sole travelers and friends. Would stay again should I visit again 😀

TTravisWe only stayed here for one day and it was pretty nice! The room was very clean along the bathroom that had great water pressure and the TV was a huge brand new Samsung model supporting Netflix! It really has the perfect location surrounded by many restaurants, convenient stores, bars ect. The only issue is that it’s next to a Lotte Mart MAXX, so if you’re driving parking may be an issue.

The location of the hotel is good as it faces the “Peace Square” and the harbor where there is water dance at night. The only issue is insufficient lighting (a bit dark) in the room, which is not convenient for me to read paper maps and information for planning what to do next day.

GGuest UserVery clean rooms sufficient toilets and showers, and well located accommodation just few minutes walk from the train station. Staff was not the friendliest when I asked to leave my luggage at 1pm before check in time but it’s ok. Kitchen is not that well equipped.

They provide towels, and also have a hair dryer and straightener too. There isn't a check-in desk though, you have to ring them. Overall, it was a good stay.

We travel with a puppy and this was one of the places that allows pets. Pet charge is 10,000 krw, which is standard in Korea.
The owner is very friendly and you have in the room everything needed: towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, water, etc.
