"The hotel has complete facilities, there are separate toilets for bathing, shower gel shampoo, but no disposable toothbrushes and slippers. The slippers provided are not disposable. It is recommended to bring your own cups. Negative one has breakfast very intimate, milk juice slices bread eggs, Western breakfast is relatively simple. There are many restaurants nearby, the transportation is very convenient, many attractions can be walked, it is close to the Anguo Road subway station, and the distance from another subway station is also accepted. The only downside was that the sheets were not changed, and there was hair on the bed."

"The location is perfect as it is near the Myeongdong subway station exit 3 and GS25 and seven eleven is just less then 5 mins walk. There is a Holly’s cafe and many small eateries nearby. The room size is big as well. However the hotel is a bit dated. On one of the days, they did not clean the room thoroughly as we can still see biscuits crumbs on the floor. No extra toilet roll provided on certain days. The towels seems very old as the edges look old and there is a certain smell. They did not top up the button buds and the cups left on the table won’t wash on certain days. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful."

"I absolutely love this place! It's spacious, with a washing machine, dryer, and a kitchen. We’re staying here during Chinese New Year, and when the weather is too cold to be outside due to the cold alert, we can just stay indoors all day. The area is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, snacks, and convenience stores, making our 7-night stay so enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again next time!"

"”While searching for accommodation near Gongdeok Station, I mistakenly booked a budget-friendly place and ended up staying for a night.
In conclusion, I think there's no hotel that matches this price range.
What could be more important than warmth in the cold winter? The room I stayed in had a cozy ondol (underfloor heating).
Additionally, warm water flowed generously during showers.
Considering the price, I believe it's unfair to compare other aspects with 4-5 star hotels.
I definitely have the intention to stay again next time.”"

"Lex is in an amazing location. Staff are friendly and the rooms are really comfortable and clean.
There's a small issue of the clubs in the basement that are quite loud and reverberate through the building until about 7am. I was on the 7th floor and could still hear the bass a bit. The staff and listings were very clear about this issue before check in and I'm a pretty deep sleeper, so it's not a problem for be. If you're a light sleeper, maybe the 10th floor or higher would be better... Maybe..."

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Seoul, Myeongdong, from November 5th to November 9th, and it was an excellent experience. We booked two double rooms and one king room for our group, and I’m happy to share our thoughts on the stay.

The location of Le Méridien is one of its best features. Situated in the heart of Myeongdong, the hotel is surrounded by a vibrant neighborhood full of shopping, restaurants, and street food vendors. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring Seoul, whether you’re shopping in Myeongdong, visiting nearby attractions like Namsan Seoul Tower, or using the subway to access other parts of the city. The area feels lively yet is still a comfortable place to relax in the evenings.

We were all very impressed with the rooms. The double rooms were spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of room to move around even with luggage. The king room was especially luxurious, with a large, comfortable bed and a modern, elegant design. All rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The amenities provided were top-notch, including high-quality toiletries and a well-stocked minibar.

A nice touch was the free drinks offered to Marriott members. It was a great perk after a long day of sightseeing—perfect for relaxing in the hotel’s chic lounge area. Whether it was a cocktail or a refreshing juice, this little extra made our stay feel even more special.

The staff were friendly and professional, making check-in and check-out seamless. They were also attentive when we had inquiries or needed assistance with directions or transportation. Service overall was efficient, with staff always available to help with any requests.

JJennieThe room is clean and spacious. The location is superb where all the shops are just downstairs and opposite hotel is the Michelin guide noodles shop. There is also a coin laundry area where we wash our clothes during our stay. Despite car can’t drive in as it’s located in Myeongdong shopping street, it’s just a 5 mins walk away from the main street. We will definitely stay in this hotel when go Seoul again.

GGuest UserWe had a lovely stay at Nine Tree Hotel Insadong. The location is truly perfect—centrally located and within easy walking distance to many of Seoul’s key tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. It is also very close to the nearest subway station, Anguk. The staff were friendly but could have been more attentive. They didn’t even ask how our stay was upon check out. Hotel was clean and the room was spacious.
The only downside, which was beyond the hotel’s control, was the presence of frequent protests and demonstrations in the vicinity. They were loud at times and occasionally made us feel a bit vulnerable. That said, the hotel itself was a comfortable and welcoming base for our time in Seoul. Overall we would definitely return to Nine Tree in the future.

The location is super convenient, Located in the business district, next to the subway station, the pick-up point for one-day activities is also nearby.
Good thing is you can take out the breakfast if you’re trip start very early. The buffet start at 6:30.

HheatherThe hotel has a great location, close to Yeouido subway station and Hyundai Department Store. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped with our luggage. The front desk staff provided excellent service and were very polite. Due to not having a local credit card and accout issue, we couldn't use the app to book a taxi, but the staff promptly helped us with this. The view from the hotel window is excellent, with a clear sight of the Han River. The hotel uses Le Labo 31 amentities. However, the cleanliness needs improvement. Some areas has quite a bit of dust buildup, and the housekeeping staff placed our personal toothbrush directly on the counter, which made us uncomfortable as the toothbrush directly touched the surface.If we visit Seoul again in the future, I will still consider choosing Fairmont.

Comfortable stay, the room was neat and tidy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.
One of the highlights of this hotel is its fantastic surrounding facilities. There's a CU right next to the hotel lobby, Also, the Hyundai department store is right in the same building is a great bonus for shopping. Plus, the Doota mall behind the hotel, providing even more options for late-night shopping until 12am!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the station, and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk there from the subway exit. Although many reviews mention using the overpass, it can be difficult to find for first-time visitors to Seoul. We spent nearly 10 minutes just looking for the entrance and eventually had to ask a security guard to locate the elevator. Other than that, there’s not much to complain about—aside from the room being a bit small. The cleanliness was excellent, and the service was great. I would consider staying here again in the future.

AAnonymous UserThe service from the receptionist was amazing, they can speak english and nihon too. The location is strategic, from Chungmuro station just walk straight to reach the hotel, but if you have huge luggages just walk out from the exit opposite to exit 8 because it has escalator while exit8 only stairs, then just cross the road to reach the hotel.
The room was clean with enough amenities. I forgot to take the picture inside our room as we were too tired and we only stayed for a night.
But the view was worth it and the room was enough for 3 adults.
However one thing lacking was the heater inside the room especially during winter, we struggled to switch it on and just let the floor heating up instead of the whole room. And the washing machine cannot be used.
Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

CChristian ItalyWe arrived early and we could drop our luggages in the corridor. We booked a twin room and were surprisingly upgraded to a bigger room with more beds.
The room was big and the toilet as well! Conveniently close to 2 metro lines, line 2 on one side and line 7 on the other side, and many bus stops.
The only cons I can think of are the small towels provided (like in most of the places in South Korea) and the heating that was not strong enough considering the cold temperatures outside.
