"I only spent one night here. Room is spacious but the condition is very very old. Mold in the bathroom and cracks on the shower floor. But budget friendly. Luggage storage was available after check out. There is also a mini fridge in the room. Suitable for people who just need a place to sleep."

"This huge (444 beds) former ”Moevenpick” Hotel in the outskirts of Riga can be a good value (see below) but shows its age (potentially from 1990 not much rennovated. The parking space is offered as ”free” but capacity is limited and you might park on public areas (as long as this is free to all, hotel will keep their parking ”free” - I suppose soon private parking management will start (charge impertinent 5€/h or so) and hotel will offer ”bargain” 25€ for the night as in Centrs. The rooms are quite good in size and equipment (single room AC in summer is a plus!!) but oldfashioned and worn - so I'd say acceptabel for sleeping only. Customer are mainly travel groups from Germany, Poland and other Baltic states. In summer it's nice that you can have breakfast (15€ extra - check the rates incl. - actually no access control) on the terrace, quality and selection is good. Sauna 15€/person for 2 hours.... Remember that the area is remote, to visit Centrs or oldtown you NEED to use tram or Bolt. Though restaurants are in walking distance (google wil find) This place a has value with rates for double incl. breakfast for 50-60€ (single 45-50€) on alotment base - I'd be very much disappointed to pay 100€++ for such a old worn ”booth” - max 3* more 2*"

"I had a wonderful stay at Wellton Riverside Hotel in Riga. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome made me feel at home. The customer service team was very helpful, assisting me with recommendations for the best attractions in Riga. The hotel’s location is excellent—perfect for exploring the main sights of the city, and very convenient for reaching bus, train, and tram stations. One of the highlights was that the hotel helped us get the best price for a boat trip around the city when booking directly through them. The rooms were in very good condition, clean and comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Riga!"

"Good hotel but little costly. Breakfast was good and had lots of of options for vegetarian. One weird thing though there is no free water, either drink tap water from bathroom or pay for it that too 5£ for water bottle. I didn’t like this,water is very basic thing and should be free after paying a good amount for hotel booking. Rest all was good."

"The location is very good, right next to St Peter Church. All the main attractions in the old town are within walking distance. Clean, large bathroom, comfortable bed (average pillows), very quiet at night. No elevator. Very good service, free luggage storage, room can be checked in in advance, and the Cruffins dessert shop next to it is good. Recommended to go to Rock Cafe at night! If not, just go there."

"The customer service/ staff was good. The breakfast was basic. The location isn’t the best plus a long walking distance from the city centre (30-40 mins) so best to take a taxi."

"I think it is overrated and not the same as the picture, a bit tired hotel, location is good, but if wanted to go bus station with baggage, you may need to climb multi stair case to across to opposite. Breakfast offer sparkling wine is plus point,food is more towards to local delight, if the room arrange in 1st floor, fews staircase need to climb as well, no issue if small baggage"

"The hotel's location is very close to the bus station, but the streets are all cobblestone, making it difficult to walk with luggage. The room size was adequate. However, during my 5-day stay, they only proactively cleaned once. Being on the ground floor facing the street, it was noisy and didn't feel very secure."

"The rooms in the old city, the stairs are narrow and steep, suitable for a small amount of luggage, otherwise it is too terrible. The room is still good, but the service attitude is too reduced. There is a problem when you check in. You can’t answer the phone and send an email. Trip.com also helped to contact, but I couldn’t contact it. Later, I found out that the staff (maybe the owner) lived next door."

"Central hostel was simply wonderful. It was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff were fantastic and very helpful, especially Alana who gave me lots of good advice and information to help me find my way about and where to go and what to see. The owners have added a lot of lovely homely elements to the hostel. You really feel at home there. The outside courtyard has been created beautifully with pots of flowers and hanging baskets. There are seating areas outside in the courtyard too. This is the best hostel! My room at was fantastic, a comfortable bed, storage and lots of room."
