Very good Chișinău hotel. The breakfast was unique, plentiful, and cultural! I can’t say enough about it. The hotel itself is charming and the rooms are equal in charm. Clean with all the amenities. The location was perfect if you want to get away from the city center business. It’s right next to a big park centered around a lake lovely for an evening stroll or jog. Nicholas the receptionist speaks good English. Fairly priced. If your looking for a good non-corporate mid-range hotel in Chișinău, I recommend Park Lane.

I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and was quickly checked in by two receptionists who spoke English well. I was soon on my way to my room on the 4th floor. The room was not very large, but nevertheless adequate. Note that some rooms here are even smaller than mine. The room came with a comfortable bed with sockets by the bed, a desk and a chair as well as a safe, a 0,5 L water bottle (not replenished), a minibar and good A/C. However, there was no coffee table or armchair. Wifi was free, fast, reliable and unlimited. The bathroom was of average size and came with a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure and ample hot water both in the overhead as well as the handheld shower. Note that in addition to the usual tap, the shower has two on/off buttons controlling each shower mode. If those are both in the off position, opening the tap will result in no water coming out and then you might think there is an outage even if there is not; just press the button and water will start flowing. Amenities included hand soap, shampoo and shower gel, all single-use, which I much appreciate. A bathrobe and slippers were provided, as well as a dental kit etc. I found the room to fulfill four star criteria nicely. The hotel opened its doors in June 2023, so it is still brand new and everything was in excellent condition. The room was cleaned daily and felt fresh and clean. I very much liked the old school way of featuring the hotel name on everything from towels to dental kits to bathrobes to shoe cleaning sponges. One letdown, however, was that during my stay, it rained every day but the hotel was not at all prepared. They supposedly had umbrellas at reception, but the most I ever saw was one single umbrella, and this when the sun was shining. Great hotels provide umbrellas in rooms, good hotels hand them out at reception on request, but what kind of hotels frequently run out completely? Fortunately, during heavy rain, they were able to find me one in the back after some persistence, but acquiring more umbrellas seems like a reasonable and much needed investment in my opinion. Breakfast was served in the restaurant from 7:30 to 10:30. It was your usual affair and came with both hot and cold options. I especially liked the Caprese salad and fresh fruit. In addition to the usual international fare they had some local items as well. Breakfast gave you a good start of the day and was included in the room rate. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner at reasonable prices, but I did not try it out. The hotel enjoys an excellent location, next to Cathedral Park. There is a supermarket and a money exchange booth right next to the hotel. The airport trolleybus is a few minutes away on the main street Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt and will take you to the airport in 40 minutes. The hotel is small. There are beautiful trees in the small courtyard. Ideal for a summer holiday, but also good in the spring. The wood-burning sauna is wonderful. We asked in advance what temperature we liked. There was herbal tea. The deluxe room is excellent. There is a bath. Close to the city center. Five minutes and you are near the Arc de Triomphe. You can sit on the balcony. There are no particular shortcomings, maybe only there is not enough kettle in the room. In addition, the dishes break easily because the coating is tile. The interior is quite pleasant, in a loft style. Breakfast takes place in a small restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. All dishes are delicious. There were boiled vegetables, sausages, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, cheese. Tea and coffee are also at the same level. The administrators create a friendly a**osphere in the hotel.

I booked this hotel for 7 nights and while being there, my trip was shortened by 1 day. My assistant asked if we could shorten the stay with one day and if this would be charged. The hotel manager answered ”We confirm to cancel the last night and it will not cost for this change.” So, I supposed that the last night was not charged. And indeed, the hotel bill was lowered from 18.900 MDL to 16.200 MDL. However, the credit card amount, converted in Euro was equivalent to 18.900 MDL. When asking to correct this, the hotel manager stated that they do charge for the last night because it was a non-refundable rate but they did not charge anything for changing from 7 to 6 nights. (???? non-refundable OK but never experienced a hotel charging for shortening a stay, this was a nonsense argument !!!) In essence, the hotel manager just thought that we would not check what was really charged to the credit card. Hotel Manager: ... do not take people for stupid ... sorry, you just lost one client, ... and I guess others who go through the reviews!

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at this amazing hotel which is centrally located on Vlaicu Pârcălab Street in the heart of Chisinău and within walking distance of the capital’s main attractions. The attention to detail and beautiful decor in the main public areas as well as the guest rooms was outstanding. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by the most welcoming and hospitable staff at the reception desk. Their warmth and friendliness made me feel instantly at home. Throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my first visit to Chisinău was perfect. Whether it was offering helpful local recommendations or simply sharing a genuine smile, their hospitality was truly outstanding. I can't thank them enough for making my stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel and I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

The hotel and the rooms are clean, modern, and well appointed. The room we were in was very spacious and the heated bathroom tiles are a nice touch. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was fantastic. I must single out the reception staff for praise, they are very helpful in arranging transport and last minute tour suggestions, even spending a significant amount of time to help us plan our day - and refused to accept a tip when I offered one! Will definitely return for a fantastic experience.

I recently enjoyed a ten-day stay at Klassik Hotel in Chisinau, and it was a very good experience. The staff were polite and professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view. The breakfast buffet stood out with its abundance and uniqueness, featuring a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, clearly sourced locally. During my stay, the weather in Moldavia was quite hot, so the hotel's cool and refreshing pool was a delightful retreat. Additionally, the cost of the room offered excellent value for the quality and amenities provided. Without a doubt, I'll choose Klassik Hotel again for my next visit to Chisinau.

Cozy hotel with very friendly staff!! Very nicely decorated for Christmas!! 10-15 minutes walk to the center.. Lived for 4 days = Same breakfast every day: very good coffee, scrambled or boiled egg, sausages, cookies to choose from, sausage, feta cheese, juices from packages (6-7), tomatoes, cucumbers, black and white bread, butter. The hotel is VERY clean. The room has everything you need: hairdryer, kettle, cups, minibar for an extra charge. The visit would have been ideal if not for one significant drawback: I didn’t sleep well all 4 nights, because I can hear what’s going on with my neighbors perfectly, and if they’re talking, you can clearly understand the context = it’s impossible to rest!

Good points: Large room (suite) A/C working well Kettle, cups, coffee sachets (no creamer) in room Staff - young lads & girls - polite, generally speak English, and try very hard - but there is no infrastructure supporting them Chef very good - but lack of necessary ingredients sometimes meant choices not available. Pool bar good (when open) but food not available at pool Bad points: Jacuzzi baths not working - in any room. This was a major disappointment - one reason for choosing this hotel. Many Pool tiles broken Pool waterfall not working Shallow “jacuzzi” in kids pool not working - dangerous holes where jets broken or removed No hot tub in garden (as claimed by some staff) Restaurant not working (at all) - meals only available in reception or covered area next to road Indoor swimming pool not available (not filled in summer) “Minibar” = empty fridge “Superfast WiFi” barely working, cutting off every few minutes in our room Fitness Centre locked Inside bar actually just the reception desk - no beer or other drinks available (except warm bottles of wine) in evening (when pool bar was closed). Not one English-speaking channel on satellite tv 2 safes in room - both not working Room and bathroom telephones not working

My wife stayed alone at this hotel between the end of July and the beginning of August last, for an ”unplanned stop” due to a missed connection between two different travel operators. The hotel in question has competitive prices, especially considering its location in the city center, but the rooms are not all well kept. The more expensive suites are definitely better, which I recommend for occasional guests, also due to the decidedly cleaner bathrooms and more modern internal layout and furnishings. The TVs in the rooms work poorly, but probably only because they are necessarily tuned to Russian broadcasters. Taking this into account, the wi-fi still works wonderfully, and you can easily make up for the lack of TV with a feast of internet multimedia content.
