10 min from the airport you enter an oasis of calm. Friendly welcome, early check in available, room simple but clean, nice gardens, pool and good food in the restaurant. Everybody is really friendly! Great place to stay for a few days, better than Antanarivo city centre!
We were accommodated here for one night by the airport as our plane was delayed. The lobby is huge and spacious and you can immediately feel that you are in China here. The reception is very pleasant, nothing to say. We were installed in our room, which was, I must admit, extremely clean, with a well-equipped luxury bathroom! Too bad the view on the road is atrocious. We then went down to lunch (meals paid for by the airport) and it was frankly disgusting! Our menu was imposed and we had the impression that they had prepared the fridge funds for us... So much so that in the evening we preferred to go out to eat elsewhere even if we could have stayed at the hotel and eat free. The breakfast is also unworthy! It's not restocked so when we came down around 8:30 there were only a few bits of watermelon, broth, bread and a bit of cheese left. Very limited for a hotel of this standard, especially since the other hotel guests were entitled to the same buffet. We asked if they were going to refill and clearly that bothered the waitress. In short, for a service that we got for free, it's still fine, but it's clear that I won't pay to return to this hotel.
I chose this because it was close to the bus of Cotisse and the price was cheap.
Most staff couldn't speak English, but
Very gentle and the room was clean.
Tiffany, who was staying for the exam, was helpful to communicate in English.

The hotel is very close to the domestic airport, only a few hundred meters away, 5 minutes walk, and free shuttle bus, very convenient. On the day of check-out, the hotel shuttle sent us to the airport. After the security check, when we waited in the airport terminal, we found that the mobile phone could not be on the network, and we could not find the signal of the wifi generator I brought out of the country. This was found that the wifi generator may have been forgotten in the hotel. I was sweating so quickly, what should I do? Traveling abroad, relying on that generator to provide traffic to our mobile phones and computers. I told the security check that I had to go out to find something. I hurried from the airport to the hotel, and it took a few minutes to walk back to the hotel. The hotel receptionist saw me as soon as I entered the door, and immediately handed me a white T-shirt and white wifi generator! I am moved and happy, and I feel emotion! I remembered that the mobile phone that was forgotten in the gem stall when I visited the gem market yesterday was also sent back to my hand by the owner! The people here are really honest! Although the country is very poor, but the people's simple and honest character, gave me a deep memory!

I have been using this hotel for 3 years, it is practically in front of the international airport, so you can safely go on foot, just exit the parking lot, or if you prefer you can be accompanied. maybe if you have rather heavy bags use the service provided by the hotel. Simple and cheap to spend a night or two before boarding. The management is familiar, the owner speaks many languages, Italian Spanish Portuguese French Malagasy English. If you want you can organize trips and transfers to the main attractions in the capital or simply to the craft markets. Electricity and hot water 24H
To be honest, this hotel is run down and in serious need of repairs/ maintenance. I had to switch 3 rooms before they put me in one with a functioning toilet. The shower drain doesn’t work well so the bathroom floor gets flooded. The shower hose and faucets were leaking. Stuff like that. The staff though, really makes up for it. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They even helped me find a place to eat after I checked in because i arrived late at night. Other pros: the wifi was reliable. The bed was comfy. There’s AC. The restaurant onsite serves good food. There are lots of shops and places to eat nearby, and the cotisse terminal is fairly close (about a 20 minute walk away). The free breakfast is just a small pastry with coffee or tea, but hey it’s free. There are ATMs nearby, and you could also have money exchanged in their office. And with the cheap price, you can’t really go wrong especially if it’s just for a night or two. I’d highly recommend this place if they’d only do the much needed repairs and keep the property well maintained.
My stay here was a wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet, providing a perfect environment for relaxation. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making me feel right at home. One highlight of my stay was the shower—it had excellent water pressure and was always nice and hot. We also enjoyed playing a game of pool at the end of a day. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!
We stayed here twice with a few days in between. Our first stay was great! The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The restaurant was closed but the outside bar served nice food (only 2 veggie options), though a little noisy and cold (they gave us blankets when we asked). Our second stay was awful! We had two rooms booked, but they said we only had one. We had to wait several hours in reception for this to be sorted with no apology from staff. When we came to check out, they said they hasn’t received the money from lastminute.com and asked us to pay again. I showed proof of payment, but they said they didn’t have it so wanted me to pay. I refused! They asked me to call lastminute.com to sort out the payment transfer to them. I explained that everything on my end was complete and that they could sort it out with the tour operator not me. Also on our second stay the food was terrible - the zebu fillet was completely inedible. When we told the staff they didn’t even acknowledge this problem.

Prime Minister's Palace
Jjuki235This is the former site of the Prime Minister's Office on the island of Madagascar, which has now been converted into a museum of Madagascar's history. The collection and preservation of many precious historical materials and cultural relics here can explain the history of Madagascar is still worth visiting to learn about.
Croc Farm Conservatoire Botanique de Madagascar
多多多I have heard a lot of negative and positive things about this place, I had to realize it myself and I was not disappointed with my visit, the place is very well maintained and very clean, it will help you spot these famous Nile crocodiles, which are impressive for their size and their weight, as well as birds, lemurs, chameleons, snakes, etc. Plantation trees, cacti and fine flowers. It takes about 2 hours to walk and I will not regret it. It is located near the Ivato Avant airport. From the dirt road on the left side of the airport, coming from Tana, will take you there, all the jungle taxis pass about 200 m from the farm and about 3 km from the main road, the last 200 m of the walk will cost you about 10 euro cents in local currency, so at Ariari, ask the manager and he will tell you when to get off, if you take a taxi, sometimes about 8 euro + the tour price is about 7 euro, you will get the formule entry + meal for about 13 euro so, a good visit
Lake Anosy
Yyangduoduo17I ventured to the lake at around 6am, which was pretty sparsely populated by Antananarivo standards. Seemed like a good time to snap a few photos - guessing dinner time might be good too - but it would probably be more crowded. It seemed like an effort had been made to (sort of) clean up the streets around the lake overnight. Perfect for photo ops in Antananarivo.
The average price for hotels in Antananarivo is AED 200 on weekdays, and AED 201 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
