"The hotel is very new, and modern facility. The 65inch TV can be connected to mobile phone Youtube, and you can enjoy it when back to hotel. The service was excellent, and in particular to Hoque, who provided a home welcoming feeling after 18 hour long flight from Asia.
On Christmas Day, the hotel restaurant was fully booked. Hoque helped us arrange a seat in the bar. And we had a wonderful Christmas dinner there. This hotel is highly recommended. Regarding the transportation, if you are willing to call Uber, this location definitely is not an issue."
"great elevated location with views across the bay, despite being in a busy part, its still a quiet alley and good easy parking.
the staff was very friendly. and served great breakast.
the spa costs extra which is always a bit odd, but they have a rooftop pool that is included for guests and its a great place to chill and catch some sun.
we rented suite with a yakuzzi and the yakuzzi never got heated (tried everything on the settings panel)..maybe they could pay some attention to that
all in all we would gladly return here"
"Nice location but construction on road so no vehicle access at the moment."

"This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them.
Beautiful location, with stunning views from the roof top.
The in-house restaurant ‘Zest’ was so lovely with amazing Japanese food.
If I return to Malta I will be coming back. Excellent value for money, excellent accommodation, excellent everything! I don’t have a bad word to say."
"The environment is very good, upstairs in a shopping mall, near the bar street, convenient for dining, and very close to **. But the room is very noisy, and you can hear the noise from the bar street. The hygiene is very average, the bedding is gray, the towels are old and hard, and the glasses, sinks, etc. are stained."
"Modern hotel with smart technology and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is centrally located with 24/7 access so very suitable for Tourists and visitors."
"The rooms are a bit small, others are good, and travel is very convenient.
Breakfast is not used in the hotel, the breakfast price is 10 Euro per person.
No extra bed in the room, no extra room
There is no dedicated parking lot. There is parking space at the entrance of the hotel."

Very Good
CChenhuaThe facility is well maintained despite it has some age. The staff is polite and friendly. Food is good especially it has a Thai restaurant in it and the Avenue which is very reasonably priced with lots of options. The sink in the bathroom is clogged so the water fades slow. During the day, the room upstairs may have furniture movement that creates quite a bit of noise. The surrounding district has lots of bars and therefore the streets are not super clean. But the location of the hotel is next to the sea and within hotel premise it’s very comfortable.

FFabinnThe hotel is quite old - not sure if it is recently refurbished. Our balcony is right next to the path to the beach with a connecting door… very noisy in the morning and totally lack of privacy. And it was not communicated to us upon arrival.
The safety box in the room is malfunctioned… so I carried all my valuables with me. Unfortunately, on our way back to hotel, our passports and cash got stollen…
I requested for make-up service the second day (we stayed for two nights) but nobody came. So we didnt get the room made up. Very disappointed.
The view from the room is probably the highlight. And the access to the pool of the sister property is a perk.
Reception team is not friendly. Never provided proactive service.
DDragan SijanSo City hotel is in the centre of St Julian’s party hub. It’s surrounded by clubs and restaurants and cafes. My room was on the ninth floor watching on the other side of the noisy neighbourhood so it was calm with windows closed. When I opened windows I could hear everything like I am in the club.
Room was nicely decorated and quite spacious. It could be more clean - I found some blemishes on duvet cover, looked like stains from makeup that couldn’t wash out. Also found some hair in the bathroom.
Considering that water is not drinkable in Malta, they should offer complimentary water bottles for each day of staying- instead they give you just 2 half litre bottles for the whole staying. More than that you must buy. Also they offer just 2 coffee capsules for the whole staying- more than that you must buy.
Breakfast was nice with lots of choices for eggs and omelettes, with additional continental breakfast items like toasts, butter, spreads, cheese and ham, some fresh fruit, and different kinds of pastries. Also they offered numerous juices and types of “milk”. It was fulfilling and cheap. Dining area is really nicely decorated with high ceilings and nice wall decors.
Staff at the reception was great and helpful.
Overall for that price it was 4/5.

MMartynavery nice service. Nice, spacious room. Large balcony. clean bathroom - new towels every day. The dryer was a bit broken but the reception gave me another one without a problem. Breakfast was tasty, nothing special but correct. Price to quality ratio 10/10! I recommend!

AAnonymous UserI had problems checking in, they couldn't find the reservation and said it hadn't been paid for. I called Trip Advisor and they fixed it, it was a hotel problem. The rooms aren't soundproofed so you'll hear the other rooms if they make noise. You can hear the cleaning staff making noise at 10pm. We didn't rest well. I wouldn't book again.

GGuest UserThis was my first time at Antoniel Suites. I arrived late at night after midnight from the airport. Once I arrived I found the door locked and nobody was at the reception. Initially, I was anxious and worried, not sure of what to do but then luckily I found a big note mentioning the working times of the reception and the numbers to contact in case we needed help. I called the number and I received assistance directly. It was my mistake because I did not inform the reception of my arrival time even though they had sent me a message but due to my busy schedule, I missed the opportunity to check the message and reply on time. In this context, while this is a negative point that a reception must be available 24/7 since standard hotels will have this in place, however, I am thankful to the hotel for the fact they accommodated my need immediately when I arrived despite the odd hour. Also, they were accessible via WhatsApp number/call. However, I do strongly recommend the hotel administration change this and instead have a 24/7 receptionist since it can be intimidating for people at the first instance to not find anyone at the counter and a door locked. In terms of the room's cleanliness, it was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, the balcony view was the best part because I could keep it open at night and sleep instead of using air conditioning. In terms of the basic amenities, i.e., there was no toothpaste or tooth brush or water bottle or kettle so do not expect anything luxury. Whether I would stay here again, I am not sure because it did not fulfil all my requirements and from a value for money perspective no it does not deserve that much because there were minimal requirements in place, however I would like to thank you the staff because they were friendly, helpful to the best of their ability and dealt with guests with respect and utmost professionalism.

BBohemianRMy overall stay at the Mercure has been an extremely pleasant trip, excellent facilities, highly professional and polite front desk staff who are efficient in handling your queries. Excellent location to all the nearby attractions and shopping malls, Mercury Mall and Bay Street. The rooms are spacious, love the lighting and decor with a minimalist and elegant look. Total recommended

LLin ching-huiNo Matter of the location, service, cleanliness or amenities, there are all good for travelers, even the lobby is convenient for customs to stay whatever for waiting for someone or plan their next steps because on display desks have a lot of useful tour guide brochures and leaflets, this is a very worth recommended hotel.
SSergioMendesI HAVE LOVED MY STAY. First time visiting Malta, booked the room last hour and I did not regret. The hotel was beautiful, and I booked the lower categorie room, still was amazing. It is located in the heart of the party district, so if you are in Malta to party. It is ideal. Very silent rooms, great space, comfortable bed. If you are planning a more sexual adventure trip, the ceileing mirrors and some fun chains in the room might help you out with the fun. Either you go with someone or want to meet someone in the island just for fun.
The Spa and piscina are fantastic and a great place to relax or even start the day.
The breakfast buffet options were awesome and everything was freah and delicious.
St. Julian's it is also very central in Malta, so if you want to plan and travel around, the location is fantastic to be able to see so many other places in the Island.
When it comes to the service and staff. Everyone was impeccable. From the reception team, to the security, to the waiters and even the cleaning team. Everyone was always very nice and helpful. Met Sandra, on my arrival, and coincidentally she was also working 3 days later when I was checking out, She did a great job. The Hugo's group have a few more of their places around, Hugo's Pub, Bacco by Hugo's, the Hugo's Burger and others, but these were the ones I also checked out and again, everything was great.
I tolally recommend a stay in here. 10 out of 10 for me.

GGuest UserThe service for the price is very good.
Breakfast includes some bread and tomatoes and cucumbers including croissants, several kinds of cheese and ham, jams and boiled *, yogurt cereal, coffee machine and juice machine there is. apple and orange.
The room is large and has a balcony. With hair dryer and soap. There is also a refrigerator. Towels are also changed every day and they are cleaned. Check-out is easy to just put the key in the box. There is also a rooftop pool, but it was cold so I didn't use it, but it is a small and cute pool.
The unfortunate point is the noise caused by the oldness of the equipment and the construction of the neighborhood.
The flush button in the toilet was broken. It can be flushed, but there is always a sound of water. The shower head was also a little broken and it was difficult to use. The air conditioner was not on and it was a little cold at night, no matter what daytime. The most difficult thing was the noise. Construction is being carried out in front of me from morning till evening, and I feel the rattling and shaking. In addition, people were noisy at night and noisy. (Is it because it is a city) I think it is basically a good inn considering the price.
The average price for hotels in St Julian's is AED 926 on weekdays, and AED 975 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
