GGuest UserA brand new Business and family place with middle East theme. Superb breakfast and amenities. Almost all staff are local people, which is quite rare compared with other hotels, mostly foreigners.
I enjoy the sumptous buffet breakfast with Apam Lenggang with gulai ikan as the speciality.
Almost Perfect hotel except 2 main shortcomings, first there is no access From parking to the hotel lobby, you have to carry your bags over the stairs or your drop all the bags at the lobby first then you go yo Park! Secondly, the sound proofing at the room Front door is quite bad, you can even hear people walking and talking! Otherwise its a Perfect hotel!

I would say, it's not a 5-star hotel. Here the reasons why: First of all, the hotel lift was under maintenance during my check in time and there's no sign of ”please use other lift”. I'm alone, with 2 kids, already put them in the stroller, bring the bags out and walk to the lift to find out the lift cant be used. Wasn't it tiring? First impression: doesnt feels welcoming. Second, I request for babycot. Waited for 1hr+ and no one come to prepare the babycot in our room. After 2-3 times call and confirmed that the babycot was unavailable. Unfortunately, my baby falls from the bed that night :) Based on this, I got two questions in my mind: why they didnt confirmed during the first time call? also, during my check in it's weekdays (parking lot empty) so why the babycot is not available? Iron: we are expecting a nice quality iron and comes together with an iron board. Dustbin: would love if the hotel provide a covered trash bin. Breakfast: superb, lots of varieties. the service was okay. Overall, would give an almost 4 out of 5. not even a solid 4 as our expectation was beyond the best for a 5-star hotel.

GGuest UserNew & Clean around industrial area with Hotel carpark. Near Jln Raja Uda within min by drive not walk. We book family superior room for 3 but with issue only 1 door card. Toilet is not wheelchair user friendly with high stair. After office hours is a like dead town nothing happening unless to Aroma Hotel area. Need car to travel around Bagan/Butterworth, BM n Penang.

KkeihahnBooked triple room for a night. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Clean room & bathroom. Even this is an old hotel but they did care about the cleanliness. Breakfast were good esp noodle (mee rebus). Even the room service menu (esp kampung fried rice) super delicious. Thumbs up for hotel’s chefs. Location were great. You can find shop lots nearby but hard to find restaurants. There’s were intercity bus station in front of the hotel.

888tony88Stayed here for 3 nights during my visit in Butterworth. Booked for a King room and was placed on 2nd floor. Required to pay RM2 per night & deposit of RM50. Location: 10 mins drive to Butterworth city centre, 5 mins drive to Raja Uda - main eatery area in Butterworth & BBCC (Butterworth Business City Centre), 15 mins drive to Penang Sentral (Ferry & Butterworth train station). Not much restaurants or cafe around the hotel except 1 noodle shop next to the hotel & a cafe. There is a cafe on the ground floor of the hotel which served basic food and drinks. Room: King room is average in size. Clean and tidy. Wooden floor. Small old TV & furniture in the room. Basic amenities such as shower cap, soap and shampoo conditioner & 2 towels provided. 2 compliment bottle of water provided each day. Only 1 power plug in the room. Good free wifi. No hairdryer and iron in the room. Might provided if request. Parking: Plenty of street parking available. Facilities: 24 hour CCTV monitoring in the hotel. Room key is not required to access the lift. 24 hours reception. Check in from 3pm & check out at 12pm.

NNajdiUI underestimated this hotel thinking that it's ”just another budget hotel” but after staying here for 5 nights I was impressed by the friendly staff and the in-room facilities. In this price range I didn't expect iron and ironing board to be included in the room as well, on top of the usual safe box, hairdryer, minibar, tv (of course), and wifi (very strong signal even from outside of the hotel compound). The location may look a bit dodgy, but the surrounding area is actually safe even if you're wandering around on foot. A supermarket, mini mart, and a few restaurants are within walking distance. During my stay I had no issues with the aircond/shower/parking like some of the previous reviews mentioned. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

TTravellimsThe room was spacious, clean and bright. The management team was friendly and good problem solving. Perhaps, the room make up policy and maintenance can be improved. There was no clean mattress cover change during the room make up. Few floor tiles in the room were broken. The TV location was set too high and away from eyes level.

GGuest UserThis hotel have a spacious and comfortable lobby with some cushion sittings and friendly check in staff..
I've a little but comfortable room with a single bed, and a clean bathroom with two panels sliding glass doors ran along the length of the room wall with the shower at one end, the wash basin in the center n the toilet at the other end.. I would say it's a very nice bathroom for the price of the room.
Plenty of halal n non halal foods stalls n shops just a short walking distance away, and it only takes a 10 minute walk to the KTM train station, the reason I stayed here as i need to catch the 6.20am morning train

MMZ_LeeBooked this hotel last minute due to heavy traffic and needing a place to rest overnight in Butterworth. The location is very convenient, with plenty of parking available. While the amenities are limited and the room is quite small, it’s sufficient for a simple sleepover.
However, I did notice a small cockroach in the room, which was disappointing. And, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette throughout the hotel, despite the signs/notice indicating it’s a non-smoking hotel.

PPEICHANI feel a bit annoyed when I check in as the price show in the hotel's counter is cheaper than I booked via trip.com quite a lot. This was the first time I experienced this as I am loyal member of trip.com and I always book hotel and flight ticket via trip.com. I know the processing fees may be charged so it will a bit expensive than book straight from the hotel but this is the first time the price is about RM100 difference. The location of the hotel is very good, near to many eateries but the service is not good. The floor is broken and the shower has problem. In addition the air conditioner has problem too, some times very cold while some time very hot. We couldn't sleep well due to this problem. No coffee or tea is given, no shower gel or shampoo is given too. Anyway, when I request from the trip.com, they give me back coins which worth RM 24. Thanks for the responsive live agent which I always choose to use trip.com because of they have very helpful customer service live agent.
